Issues updating iOS7 to iOS8 (iPhone 5s)

Hi guys, I really have terrible problem regarding my iPhone 5s. When I started updating my OS from iOS7 to iOS8, things happened terribly:
-Unresponsive Touch Screen
-A vertical line sometimes appears in the screen which makes it unresponsive.
Please help me guys 'cause just restarting my phone doesn't fix anything. Thank you very much.

First, were you able to successfully update the device? If so, try a reset. Hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until the Apple logo appears and then release. The phone will reboot. If it is still having trouble, then restore the phone from a backup. See this support document. Back up and restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch using iCloud or iTunes - Apple Support
If that does not fix it, then restore the device as new, not from a backup.Use iTunes to restore your iOS device to factory settings - Apple Support

After I did the newest update ios7 on my iPhone 4 now it just gives the iTunes screen

Since I updated my iPhone 4 there has been a terrible lag in the voicemail especially when deleting voicemail. So as soon as I saw there was a new update I downloaded it. Now my phone won't do anything it just gives me the iTunes picture on the phone.

In your case the error message you have is found in this information:
Check USB connections
Related errors: 13, 14, 1600-1629, 1643-1650, 2000-2009, 4000, 4005, 4013, 4014, 4016, “invalid response,” and being prompted to restore again after a restore completes.
If there’s an issue with the USB port, cable, dock, or hub, or if the device becomes disconnected during restore, try troubleshooting the USB connection, then troubleshooting your security software.
To narrow down the issue, you can also change up your hardware:
Use another USB cable.
Plug your cable into a different USB port on your computer.
Try a different dock connector (or no dock).
Add (or remove) a USB hub between your device and computer.
Connect your computer directly to your Internet source, with no routers, hubs, or switches.
If you checked your connections and are still seeing the error message, check for hardware issues.

HT1688 Is anyone having issues with iOS7 Siri? (iPhone 5s)

On multiple occasions during the day I'll ask Siri to remind me.... With a long pause she'll say "I'm really sorry but I can't take your request right now please try again later. Then I'll try right after and she'll work. Very frustrating. iOS6 worked like a charm. This happens on wireless and LTE networks.

Joe, I've been using Siri since it was an app on my iPhone 3G. I've had my 5 since a week after it was introduced. While on iOS 5.01, every now and then I would get a single message. However, since moving to iOS 7 I get multiple rejections in a row... and often. In the picture above you can see the signal strength is fine. This also happens when I'm 10 feet from my WiFi router at home too. This is an iOS problem.
Based on the number of messages I got from Siri in the picture above you can see that my request was rejected 5 times before I gave up and posted that message on this site.
(I think) I have found that if you get her attention first, it reduces the number of rejections. For example, I'll push the button and say "Siri?". Siri answers, "Yes? How may I help you?". Then I ask my question. This is NOT ideal. It's also quite embarassing trying to find an answer at a party and people see the rejection. Not good publicity for the iPhone.
Again, This is definitely an iOS issue and it NEEDS to be fixed!

Texting issues after ios7 download on iPhone 4s

My iPhone 4S since downloading the new ios7 when texting certain letters on the keyboard don't work but did before the new ios7 was installed any ideas?

How curious. Do these letters work if you type them in another app, like the Notes app for example?
You could try resetting some things like Settings>General>Reset>Reset Keyboard Dictionary or if that doesn't help then move on to Reset All Settings which will set everything back to defaults.
If that doesn't work then you may need to restore the phone completely via either "Erase All Content and Settings" (warning this will erase all data and settings on the phone, you should ensure you have a backup, either in iCloud or iTunes, before doing this) or via iTunes as described here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1414

Having an issue with Searching Contacts -IOS8 iPhone 5S - MS Exchange

When I search for a certain Contact by name EX: John Smith, I would get Jon Smith about 10 names down and others appear before him at the top of the list. When I click on the other contacts you can see his name in the contact notes which I guess is why the others show up. EX: Jon Smith Referral in contact notes of Jane Doe.
I only want the contact search to show the the specific person I am searching for. I do not want other names to show up along with the search. Is it possible to have the contact search ONLY look at the First/Last Name and no other info?
Hope that makes sense to someone out there..... Cant find an answer ANYWHERE.

Thats exactly what I want it to do. Say for example I search Smith I will get about 25 people, and Smith is somewhere linked to it in an email thread, contact details, or something like that, no relevance in the First Last or Email. I do not understand how the contact search is even coming up with this many results. I can confirm this is only using the contact search and not Spotlight or anything like that. I seem to be the only person in the universe which is having this problem, I deleted my MS exchange account and re-added it, factory reset the phone. No clue where to go from here. Lol my only work around that I have found for now is if I just say the First name and last name to Siri she will come up with the contact details I need for that specific person. Driving me crazy!

You haven't provided enough information to even start to help you. WHAT issues are you having? What have you done (detailed steps)? What are the results? What are the error messages? What are the error numbers? Have you tried different chargers and different cables?

That error message suggest you have a permissions issue. Make sure you have full read/write privileges for the Drive/ Folder location that you are copying the files to.
