Issues while deploying adf application in WLS 10.3.5
Hi All,
Earlier, I was using Jdev 11.1.2 and had WLS 10.3.5+Sherman Patch with ADF Runtime 11.1.1.5 and the application was running fine.
Now I am using Jdev 11.1.1.6 and have installed WLS 10.3.5 with ADF Runtime 11.1.1.6
Now when I am deploying my application I am getting the following error :

I have checked the version of ADF Runtime installed in WLS and it comes out to be 11.1.1.6
Please suggest any solution for this issue.

Can you check if the following libraries are checked as part of your deployment -
ADF Faces Runtime 11

AjayI logged into console and browsed to 'Home >Summary of JDBC Data Sources' but not able to locate DashboardDb. Please let me know where to find DashboardDB on wls console.
Also, please let me know how to configure the app to not to auto-deploy JDBC data sources -
Error while deploying adf application using ant script or jdevloper IDE
Hi All,
While deploying adf application into cluster weblogic server I am getting strange error though my weblogic server is working fine as I checked it from weblogic console. Seems that there is some heap memory issue but don’t know the exact cause as it work perfectly if I restart the server.
Same error i get when i try to deploy application from Jdeveloper IDE though it created the server connection successfully.
Please help me by provided valuable tips to overcome this problem or any special tips to optimize weblogic server for ADF.
Thanks in advance

Srini.Well, how did you do?
I am having a similar problem.
1) Installed WLS 10.3.5 on a Linux machine
2) Installed ADF runtime libraries (ofm_appdev_generic_11.1.1.5.0_disk1_1of1.zip)
3) I can see at deployments

- adf.oracle.domain(1.0,11.1.1.2.0)
- adf.oracle.domain.webapp(1.0,11.1.1.2.0)

- jsf(1.2,1.2.9.0)
I created from scratch a new Fusion Web app. It just has 1 ADF read-only table based on the HR.COUNTRIES table. It runs perfectly on the integrated WL.
I cannot deploy it to my standalone WLS. The error:

Error while deploying ADF application to a standalone weblogic
jdeveloper version: 11.1.2.2
Issue: I have built a standalone weblogic server (10.3.5.0) and am trying to deploy my ADF application to it. The deployment fails with the following message. The stand alone server I have built is on the same machine where jdeveloper is installed and I am using same weblogic that came with jdeveloper install. The aplication runs fine on integrated server. I have researched this issue and have got more or less same answer of installing ADF run time libraries. Can someone please help me with exactly what I need to install and how?
Thanks,
Saurabh.

Problem while deploying ADF application in glassfish
Hello I am using JDeveloper 11.1.2.3.0
I have configured Glassfish in my computer and I have followed the instructions as Shay explained here: https://blogs.oracle.com/shay/entry/deploying_oracle_adf_applications_to
The problem is that when I try to deploy my ADF application as "Deploy to application server" with glassfish in this case I get an error saying that:
[#|2013-08-21T11:45:47.516+0200|SEVERE|glassfish3.1.2|org.apache.catalina.core.ContainerBase|_ThreadID=62;_ThreadName=Thread-2;|ContainerBase.addChild: start:
org.apache.catalina.LifecycleException: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: oracle.adf.share.glassfish.listener.ADFGlassFishAppLifeCycleListener
If I deploy the ADF aplication as an EAR file and then I try to deploy this EAR file to glassfish through the admin interface I get this other error:
[#|2013-08-21T15:40:16.452+0200|SEVERE|glassfish3.1.2|javax.enterprise.system.tools.deployment.org.glassfish.deployment.common|_ThreadID=65;_ThreadName=Thread-2;|Exception while invoking class com.sun.enterprise.web.WebApplication start method
java.lang.Exception: java.lang.IllegalStateException: ContainerBase.addChild: start: org.apache.catalina.LifecycleException: java.lang.RuntimeException: com.sun.faces.config.ConfigurationException: CONFIGURATION FAILED! javax.el.ELContext
Can anyone help on this?
ThanksI removed the jar files from /lib/ext and putted el-api.jar by myself in /lib directory. Now I can deploy my application as EAR file without problems but when I try to deploy it directly through JDeveloper the problem is the same:
[#|2013-08-22T09:43:22.507+0200|SEVERE|glassfish3.1.2|org.apache.catalina.core.ContainerBase|_ThreadID=98;_ThreadName=Thread-2;|ContainerBase.addChild: start:
org.apache.catalina.LifecycleException: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException:oracle.adf.share.glassfish.listener.ADFGlassFishAppLifeCycleListener
I do understand that I should have this JAR but I do not know where to find it and where to put then.
Can you help in this point? Thanks -
Error while deploying ADF application
Hi All,
We are getting another error in SOA application
Whenever tried to deploy the ADF application file (.EAR) into soa_server1, it given me invalid soa archive error.
Please help.Hi,
Thanks for posting.
The above error isony because we can only deploy SOA archive (.SAR) files into SOA_server1 managed server.
We can only deploy SOA archive (.SAR) files into SOA_server1 managed server. We cannot deploy ADF (.EAR) applications into SOA_server1 managed server. To deploy the ADF (.EAR) applications we need to deploy either from Jdev or from Weblogic Console. -
Issue while deploying Agentry application on local SMP server
Hello Experts,
I have deployed a customized SAPWM application on the SMP 2.3 server.
I am referring to the tutorial maintained at the following URL :http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-43353
After deployment, the status of the application is shown as "running_without_metadata".
Few sections from my agentry.INI (present under application's root folder (C:\SAP\MobilePlatform\Servers\UnwiredServer\Repository\Agentry\default\com.sap.agentry.wm53) are as follows.

When I connect this application from my iPad with my machine's IP and port as 7003, I get an error saying "Invalid password for User <username>".
When I debugged this application in the ECC, in the BAPI /SYCLO/CORE_SUSR_LOGIN_CHECK, I saw that the Password being sent to the ECC was blank, inspite of entering the password on the application. (have run it for another user in ECC in the below screenshot).
Is something missing in the agentry.INI or application configuration on the SCC which is causing this issue?
Any help will be appreciated. If you are getting "running_without_metadata" this means the Agentry server did not load any application on start up.
1) In your Agentry.ini in the [Configuration] section what is developmentServer set to?
2) Depending on the value is where the Agentry Server looks for the application logic in the following locations:
Set to" True"
C:\SAP\MobilePlatform\Servers\UnwiredServer\Repository\Agentry\default\com.sap.agentry.wm53\Application\Development\
Set to false:
C:\SAP\MobilePlatform\Servers\UnwiredServer\Repository\Agentry\default\com.sap.agentry.wm53\Application\Production
In the above folder does it contain your application logic?

[Question:] Performance issue while deploying on Application Server
Oracle Application server 10G release 3 is used on which Jheadstart built application need to be deployed. but when its deployed it get very slow.
What are the things i need to check so that it can speed up . like disabling any Debugging messages, log, or other particular messages which can increase performance. If you are getting "running_without_metadata" this means the Agentry server did not load any application on start up.
