Issues with Azure South East Australia on Saturday @ 7am-8am Sydney Time

Yesterday Saturday 10th of Jan @ approx 7.28am until 8am our CAS003AU virtual server was non responsive.
It came online on it’s own.
This server is in the Azure South East Australia region.  I have checked your status pages and found logged an issue on 7th of Jan (UTC time) which doesn’t appear to correlate to this issue.
Can you urgently investigate and advise why this happened? Why it isn’t on your status page?  How can we ensure this doesn’t happen again?

We had a service Incident with Cloud Services and Virtual Machine over East US region which was affected from Jan 9th 2015 22:49 UTC to Jan 10th 2015 1:48 UTC.
As per your issue, we dont not see any service incident over South East Australia region. We suggest you to open a Service Request with Azure Technical Support in order to dig deep to know the Root Cause Analysis of the issue.

    All I can suggest is that you open that file on the MBA and save it as a new file, then see if you can open the new one on the iMac.

  • Source control issues with Azure Pack Web Sites

    Struggling to get my Azure Pack Web Sites POC off the ground.  Infrastructure is built and I'm ready to deploy a .NET app.  I can successfully deploy an app from the gallery and tested and it works so we're good there.
    However I'm having an issue with source control and getting an app deployed.  We have a local instance of Github enterprise here we use for all code repositories.  Can I use this?  In my tenant site I have created a new web site and added
    an external repository for source control.  I put in the HTTP link to my local github enterprise repo and it tries for a minute and returns the following error:
    Command 'git.exe fetch external ...' aborted due to no output and CPU activity for 60 seconds. You may increase SCM_COMMAND_IDLE_TIMEOUT setting to solve the issue.
    git.exe fetch external --progress
    There's nowhere I can specify credentials or SSH keys so azure pack can communicate with my repo (i'm assume this is the issue).  I can't put company custom code out on codeplex or public github so that's out.  Am I trying to do something that
    isn't possible in Azure Pack? 

    I guess I'm confused.  When I go into my web site and click the Setup deployment from source control, under the External repository option it says both Git and Mercurial repositories are supported.  This is a different button than the GitHub option
    for source code.  So what's the point of that option is you can't actually use a git repo?  

  • Issues with Shared Variables in Systems Running for Extended Periods of Time

    I am designing a large SCADA system using LabVIEW DSC and cRIOs. My plan is to use shared variables to communicate the majority of the information across my network (much like "tags" in a normal SCADA system).
    I'm wondering if anyone has experienced issues (connection failures, etc...) with shared variables running on systems for months (both real-time and windows based PCs) without the cRIO or PC being restarted/redeploying the variables. What is the stability of the Shared Variable Engine over extended periods of time?

    I have a system with 2 cRIO's each with Ethercat extension chassis.  Each cRIO hosts ~100 NSV's and is running the scan engine at 40 Hz.
    Each cRIO is coupled to a HMI that has front panel control bindings to NSV's hosted on the cRIO as well as a windows hosted mirror library (used for citadel db logging) that is also bound to the cRIO NSV library.  The cRIO's have monay months of contiguous run time without reboot and I closely monitor cpu and memory usage and also rt performance metrics and will log faults if there are any such events.  I also use NSV's for messaging from the HMI to the cRIO for such things as setting zero offset values and deploying configuration parameters.  My overall findings are that the SV engine and the PSP are stable and efficient (especially NSV<->NSV and NSV<->HMI binding)

  • Issues with my trackpad randomly quitting for a small period of time on my MacBook5, 2

    My track pad will periodically stop working or barely respond. Took it in for service and they said the battery can overheat causing the trackpad to warp or not respond. They replaced the battery but I almost immediately started having the same issue again. Is what they said true and is there any other solution to the problem?

    Just to add:
    My MacBook Pro is from around late 2009.
    I've had issues with the trackpad before (it was completely unresponsive) however that was just an issue with the trackpad not registering touch at all, in this case I believe it could be something worse as it can register touch but it just won't work properly.
    I've also tried connecting up a Bamboo tablet, it had the exact same issue as the pad and the mouse (work for a short time then stops, cursor is still moveable)

    But i really wonder how you did that. did you always switch between design view and preview view, then change the key position for 2px then switch back, to align the four letters? because i imagine that can get really frustrating, if you have a logo consisting of 58 parts instead of 4!:)

    I have issues to complete a Backup with Microsoft Azure Backup. The message says:
    "Engine encountered an unexpected error please look at the events log for more details."
    I have screenshots and error logs, where can I post/mail them?

    If FIPS encryption setting is turned on, it can cause this issue.
    Please go to this path in registry and check if the value is 1 or 0
    HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa\FIPSAlgorithmPolicy\Enabled
    1 means enabled. 0 means disable.
    To Disable:
    a. Click Start, type regedit in the start search box and hit enter.
    b. In the registry editor navigate to HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa\FIPSAlgorithmPolicy\Enabled
    c. This registry value reflects the current FIPS setting. If this setting is enabled, the value is 1. If this setting is disabled, the value is 0.
    d. To disable it double click on the file and select 0.
    e. Restart the computer and check.
    Also, please ensure both TCP and UDP port 6049 are open in Windows Firewall.

    I just spend three hours on the phone with Time Warner Cable for my road runner email account help line about My email retrieves to my iPhone but will not send more than one email then puts up an error of user name or password  or not recognized  the TWC server.well...
    I went to a VZW store and a nice man spent hours, i mean hours  removing and re installing my emails account, We sent emails and received all ok,  unill I walked out side, then NO send again, back in I went. NO real solution to this problem of not being able to send.  I learned that in Rochester NY Com canst now owns TWC and servers are being shifted about.  they re programmed my phone, and same thing again.. receive but not send out.. a real puzzle.  MY PC account on same email works fine, just the iPhone will not send.  everyone blames every one else. Any one out ther experience this issue.

    This phone ONLY works on wifi. Cellular? Unusable. AT&T says it's the hardware. Apple says it's the network. All I know is I have to rely on this for work, and more than once my boss has gotten angry with me for not reponding to an email or text because I simply wasn't able to receive any signal.
    I never had problems like this with my old 3G. My wife does not have this problem with her 3GS.
    According to that, it's likely an Apple problem, i.e. a problem with the 4S.  That being said, have you tried a few troubleshooting steps...
    Try a reset by pressing the home and sleep buttons until you see the Apple logo, ignoring the slider. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings.
    Reset Network Setings
    Remove, clean and reseat SIM card
    New SIM card
    Restore from your backup.
    Restore as new, i.e. without your backup
    If these don't work, it is a hardware issue... take it in to Apple and escalate it until you get it resolved.

    I have upgraded my iphone 3 to a 4. I just recently discovered that while the iphone 3 automatically discovers bluetooth but the iphone 4 does not (couldn't discover any bluetooth). My bluetooth is Jabra SP200. It turned out, there are other steps to take with the bluetooth device to pair with the iphone 4. As stated, iphone 3 detected it automatically. But w the iphone 4, I had to press and hold the answer button of the Jabra for it to pair with iphone 4. Call the bluetooth manufacturer directly and check with their alternative pairing procedures.

  • I had Acrobat XI Pro Trial installed on W8.1, and I had to uninstall it because issues with MS Office 2010. Now I try to reinstall Acrobat and It does not allow me to use the trial version anymore even it was not over. What to do??

    Well, I had installed in my new computer a trial version from Acrobat XI Pro, but I had issues with Microsoft Word 2010, since it did not allow me to save changes on my file. I uninstalled it from my computer before the trial period was over, and then, after I solved the issue with Office, I wanted to get it back for a time, but the installer does not allow me to choose Trial Version. I can reach that screen where you choose between key and trial, but once I press trial and click on next, it does absolutely nothing at all.
    I have tried to manually delete folders, and I even used CC Clean to make a registry set up, but nothing out of that is working for me at all, and it keeps happening. I have no really idea what to do, and I kinda need to use Acrobat immediately for a file.

    The trial can only be loaded 1 time as far as I know. You could try http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html, remove any left over parts of the Acrobat folder, and reboot. Then try an install again, but my guess is you will have to purchase Acrobat at this point.

    I have been facing an issue with a Unity Connection Server v9.1.2. Every time an internal extension (assigned to VM profile and to Unity as a user) which is configured to be transferred to VM after 20 sec or so NoAN,is called , Unity treats the call as the extension of the calling party and not the called party. Furthermore , I dont know if this has any relation with the problem I am facing but when I check the voicemail port status in RTMT its seems like that regardless it is a direct call to the Unity from an extension (dial the pilot number or press the messages button on the IP phone) or a redirected call from an extension to Unity due to NoAN configuration, the Reason is Direct and the caller party number is always the extension initiated the call and not the one redirected to the Unity (second case).
    I have changed the Use Last (Rather than First) Redirecting Number for Routing Incoming Call  Unity parameter in the
    System Settings > Advanced >Conversations -> checked   and
    Redirecting Diversion Header Delivery - Outbound CUCM parameter ->checked
    in the SIP Trunk configuration used for the integraton of the CUCM with Unity but none of those seem to address this issue. Is there any guidelines you can give me to overcome this issue?

    CUCM v9.1.2 BE
    CUC    v9.1.2 BE

  • Issue with Date and Time Picker on Windows 8.1 and Office 2013

    We are having a issue with the Developer tool in Excel called the Date and Time Picker which puts a calendar field into the spreadsheet where you can select a date from the calendar popup
    If we change this date field and then save and close and reopen it reverts back to the previous date before the change was made
    If we do the same process on a Windows 7 machine with Office 2013 it saves the changes we made to the Date and Time picker field

    Please make sure you have already upgraded to the latest version of excel, try to reregister the MSCOMCT2.OCX.
