Issues with Organizational Model in CRM

Hi guys,
           We are implementing CRM 5.0 and I generated Organizational Model in system using Report: CRM_ORGMAN_R3_ORGDATA_GENERATE. This report generated organizational model with no errors. But there is a issue with org model:
In our R/3 system same sales office are assigned to multiple sales area and same salesgroups are assigned to multiple sales office due to this in CRM when the org model generated it only assigned the sales office and sales group to sales org 1000 however sales org 2000 and 3000 left unassigned.
eg:
R/3:
Sales office assigned to
sales area: 1000   10   10 
                       001
                       002
                       003
                 2000   10   10 
                      001
                      002
                      003
And after generation in CRM:
Sales org: 1000
                  sales office: 001
                                    002
                                    003
Sales org:  2000
                   no sales office or sales org assigned.
When I am trying to create it manually then it gives me an error: "attribute_R/3_SA_ORG with value xyx already assigned".
Did anybody faced similar issue?
I even ran the report for to change the org model to enhanced version but it didnt helped.
Please give your suggestions.

Hi Ankit,
Its common that the sales office are only assigned to the first sales organiz unit in
CRM structure in PPOMA_CRM. The same for the sales groups that are only assigned under the first sales office unit in CRM structure in PPOMA_CRM.
No mather, the important thing is that under Function tab > Sales office tab, for a sales office, the system has all the possible combinations for R/3 sales org, R/3distribution channel and R/3 division.
And the same under Function tab > Sales group tab, for a sales group, that must contain the possible combinations for R/3 sales org, R/3 sales office, R/3distribution channel and R/3 division.
In this way, you have the structure like:
SALESORG1001
   SALESOFFICE 1100
       SALESGROUP 100
   SALESOFFICE 1200
   SALESOFFICE 1300
SALESORG1002
SALESORG1003
But inside SALESOFFICE 1100 details you have something like:
Sales office tab:
R3 sales org | R3 DC | R3 Div
1001              10         01
1002              10         01
1003              10         01
And under Sales Group 100 you have something like:
Sales group tab:
R3 sales org | R3 Sales Office | R3 DC | R3 Div
1001              1100                  10         01
1002              1100                  10         01
1003              1100                  10         01
1001              1200                  10         01
1002              1200                  10         01
1003              1200                  10         01
1001              1300                  10         01

  • Issue with distribution model

    We are trying to set up payroll posting document via ALE interface. We have done the following settings
    1. Distribution model setup with filters on for standard bapi's
    2. Partner profile setup
    3. RFC destination setup
    When we try to post payroll data,it was returned with the following errors
           RFC destination is not maintained for object BUS6001 and method PRECHECKPAYROLLACCOUNTASSIGN
           RFC destination is not maintained for object BUS6001 and method PRECHECKPAYROLLACCOUNTASSIGN
           The account assignment objects could not be checked
           The account assignment objects could not be checked
           RFC destination is not maintained for object BUS6004 and method CHECK
           The G/L account could not be checked
    We verified RFC destination and it was working fine. Type of user used in RFC dest is Communciation. Hope this is not a issue.
    Although above issues are very general, couldn't find relevant solution for this.
    Please, can some one help me how to fix them.

  • Issues with statistical modeling in calendar months vs 13 fiscal periods

    In our demand planning, we plan at the fiscal period level (13 fiscal periods across a year - not matching with calendar months or year).  We are having issues (strange results) trying to run the statistical modeling at the fiscal period level versus the calendar month level.  Is there a way to run the stat modeling over fiscal periods rather than calendar months?  Can we run stat modeling over a specific date range rathn than including the current month?

    Hi Stephen, I guess I can assume the following:
    1) In the master forecast profile, you have maintained the period indicator and the fiscal year variant
    2) You are choosing a forecast strategy in univariate profile (?) that makes use of seasonality, and you are trying to maintain the number of periods in a season as 13 (in our case, our periods are custom, but there are still 12 periods, so different from your case)
    3) Your history horizon in master forecast profile is more than the number of periods in the season i.e. history has more than 13 periods of data
    If above things are already done and you still face issue when you try to use 13 periods in a season, looks to me like a SAP bug, and it would be best to raise an OSS message to SAP.

  • Issues with follow-up from CRM Opportunity to ERP Quotation in 7.0

    Dear Experts,
    From the CRM 7.0 Web UI: while trying to create a follow-up from CRM Opportunity to ERP Quotation (or ERP Order) getting an error without any error message. Just error is displayed as u201CS::000u201D.
    If the Opp got no items then follow-up ERP Quote/Order was successful, but error is displayed only when Opportunity got any item which has to be copied to target document.
    Learned that in CRM it is not able to catch the errors coming from ERP hence this S::000 but the actual error message I could see coming from ERP while creating the ERP document is u201CUnit ST is not created in language ENu201D.
    My Items UoM is PC. Wondering why and where ST need to be maintained for language EN. Or did I miss out any other configuration?
    PS: Copy controls for Transaction Types and item categories configured correctly. ERP profile configured correctly.

    I also got similer issue.
    Condition customizing is GOOD
    An entry with language EN for u201CST to PCu201D is there (Standard) still error persist.
    As itu2019s not on my critical path just living with a workaround. I.e., Added another UoM (1EA = 1PC) to my product master and set that as base UoM. Copy was successful.
    Let us know if you find the solution.

  • Issue with organizations delete

    Hi
    I have created an organization XXXXXX in OIM 11g and latter i tried to delete the same. OIM displayed a message saying that an error has occured and could not delete the org, though before deleting this org i have deleted all the users and resources assigned to this org.
    after a restart of OIM server i am unable to find the organization through admin console and when i try to create an org with the same name OIM says that orgnization already exists.
    did anyone faced such issue... ? why this happening

    Yes, OIM does not allow you to delete neither users, nor organizations in DB. It just marks it as 'Deleted'. Because IMHO, being able to revert object creation in DB is VERY useful while you are implementing OIM in a test environment, I've developed a tool capable of creating and cascade deleting any OIM object, including users, resources and organizational trees. Write me if you want to know more about the tool.

  • Number Range issues with sales orders in CRM and R/3

    Hi,
    We are currently using CRM4.0. I have sales orders created in R/3 and they are replicated into CRM.  These sales orders can only be created in R/3.  I have given them a number range of 0000000001 and 0005899999, however we have reached the number 0005899999 so we increased the internal number range for the sales orders in R/3 to 0009499999, however we forgot to update the number range for the corresponding sales transaction type in CRM so we are getting the following error in CRM:
    +Enter a business transaction number between 0000000001 and 0005899999
    Message no. CRM_ORDERADM_H532
    Diagnosis
    You have attempted to enter a transaction number which is not allowed for the transaction type.
    Procedure
    Enter a number between  &1 and &2. Make sure that you issue a number which has not already been issued.+
    We have now updated the CRM number range to match that in R/3 to 0000000001 and 0009499999 but we are still getting the error above on our existing sales orders in CRM.  I thought that increasing this number range it will remove the error but when I open sales orders in CRM the error is still there. 
    Is there any way to remove this error message?  Any tips or advice would be much appreciated.

    Hi Sirisha,
    The solution depends on the exact issue you are facing.
    The CRM Sales Order is created OK, but you only see the error when you open the Sales Order?
    If this is the case, then you can follow the steps below:
    1. Find the Message ID and Message No for the error message
    2. Use Program - CRM_MESSAGES_DELETE to delete error messages from the error producing Sales Orders.

  • Blackberry issues with organization's Wifi

    I am having problem with Wifi connection, when I try to connect my torch 9800 with office Wifi it does connect, but I can not browse.  Office Internet is using Proxy Server and user authentication method, but I do not see any place in my BB to put the proxy server and user authentication options. 
    Can anyone help me with this issue?

  • Issue with Insignia Model NS-LCD32

    Today I bought a Dynex HDMI cable to use with my television.  I hooked it up to my Xbox 360, and now whenever I play Modern Warfare 2 I get this static-like crackle from the speakers whenever there's a large explosion.  Could I get some advice on how to fix this, please?

    If you have a bass adjustment on your TV turn it down.  I get the same thing from the Home Theater setup and its the 360.  Its the way it's reproducing the sound during the game.  You could also change the settings on the 360 but I haven't played with it yet so I don't know what to set it to.

    When I select the people tab, I do not see my people in stacks.  -- I have identified the people in my photos. 
    Now whe I got to the upper right corner and select one or more stars in the ratings, the photos then appear stacked by person. 
    why does this occur.  Can I fix so that the phtos appear even when i do not select a rating.

  • CRM - HR - SD Organizational Model

    We are integrate CRM and HR in part of the organization management.
    Organizations and persons transfer from HR to CRM periodically via IDOCs. Ok.
    We use persons in the activities.
    Now in the business activities we want determine the organizations as Responsible Organizational Unit (Sales) and Sales Office.
    But, I dont know how I can implement both HR and SD-organization model in CRM???

    i think there would be only one organizational data store in CRM. You can opt to bring either the Sales Organization structures or the HR structures into CRM, but they will be stored in one source only. Then you can build your rules around this data to determine during the business transactions.
    As Brad pointed out, normally the structures are borrowed from SD side of R/3 as who knows better about the sales orgaizations/sales distribution channels/sales divisions/sales offices/sales groups etc than the SD in R/3. HR's primary controlling functions are about the positions, roles and idnetification of employees. This data is replicated into CRM as BP in the roles of employees.
    So the best practice is sales structures from SD and employees from HR.

  • Can TDMS transfer ORG Model in CRM

    We are planning on using TDMS to refresh CRM Organizational model from CRM PRD system to the QA system. Didn't find document about whether this can be done or not. Since Org model is part of master data and TDMS can transfer master data, assume it'll work.

    Yes, TDMS for CRM transfers the complete org model as it is part of master data.. But reduction cant be achieved based on Org Model...
    TDMS for CRM has two package types similar to TDMS for ERP..
    1) Master & Configuration Data
    2) Master & Configuration Data along with time sliced transactional Data

    One employee  is created with the name "test customer" in ECC and it is assigned to organization model in CRM. After that the the employee name is changed fom test customer to __customer test. Now same changes is updating in CRM but not updating in Organization model?
                                  can you plz tell me why the employee is not updating in Organization model?

    Hi
    The changes to the business partner data flows through the middleware in run time.
    But if you assigned the user with some initial name as XYZ. Then change the name of the business partner to X1Y1Z1, then you need to remove the earlier entry in the name of XYZ and assign the new entry X1Y1Z1 manually.
    As a standard, it will not update the name in the organisational data in CRM.

  • Multiple Issues with HTC 8X and Verizon Doesn't Care

    I have had this phone for three months and had this issue the whole time.  Searched Verizon and Windows forums and found the same thing.  Only Verizon HTC 8X having this issue.  On top of that I am now having hardware issues.  Phone SIM not showing up as connected and have to restart or re-seat the SIM.  Battery life has gone down drastically.  Overnight charge gets me 11 hours tops without using my Data plan with WIFI off and other major apps closed out.  Shouldn't have to do that to utilize features on a smart phone.  As soon as I begin using my data plan the 11 hours is cut in half.  Not to mention if I use the phone for GPS navigation it gets drained in 30 minutes to and hour.  Then the software is now freezing.  Either freezes completly and have to restart or applications i try to open, stall and then go  back to the start menu.  I have to then power off the phone which freezes and 15 minutes later powers off.  3 months into the phones contract.  Ridiculous.  Bought from Letstalk.com and they told me I am SOL.  14 days for return and 30 for exchange.  Go see HTC.  HTC says i'm SOL.  Go to Verizon and get a new SIM.  Factory Reset the device as  well.  If that doesn't help, ship it to us and we will repair.  Are you kidding.  I am a consultant for a major merger and acquisition company that deals with infrastructure practices all day.  Send you my phone for repair on a 3 month old phone.  Are you kidding me.  Finally talked to Verizon.  They are not consciously aware of the HTC 8x missed call three beep scenario when it has been on there forums since December of this year.  With all my issues they told me I'm SOL.  I don't want to send it in for repair.  That is ridiculous.  What will that solve.  A couple of the issues.  What about the three beep issue the has plagued me for months. A refurbished of a different model from two years ago, no thanks.  I received a new phone three months ago.  So you wanna make it my fault and tell me here take an iphone 4 from two years ago from 300 dollars.  I am furious with this and want to proceed with making sure this lack of decent service for an issue like this is resolved and others don't have to face this type of treatment.  I paid good money for a smartphone with reliable service.  So far i'm being told to bend over and take it from everyone.  I feel that the three beep issue alone is a breach of the contract I have with Verizon and I should be able to constitute that right and terminate this disease.

    I received my new "reconditioned" phone to replace my 6 month old Droid 4.
    The replacement phone only holds a charge for 6 hours or so, with minimal
    use (no internet).
    I am VERY unhappy. I left a message with the store employee who helped me
    activate the replacement
    phone, but have not heard back. This is really disappointing. I paid a lot
    of money AND signed an additional
    2 year contract in order to purchase my Droid 4. Now I am stuck with a piece
    of junk phone as is my other
    employee who has a replaced Droid 4 as well. The store even told me they had
    "issues" with this model (battery completely died on my phone 619-XXX-XXXX
    as well as on 760-XXX-XXXX).
    We concluded that when both our Droid 4 phones died within a couple of
    months of each other.
    AT the very least, we should have our phones replaced with new, so they can
    at least hold a charge and be used for
    our business as the purpose they were purchased  for.
    I would think making this right, since this is quite obviously NOT our fault
    would be clear if you expect to retain customers.
