Issues with playlists on IOS7

Hi all,
Can someone help me out ? I have installed IOS 7 yesterday but I notice an error when listenning to my music.
In my itunes I have create folders in order to have all CD's from an artist organized inside each folder.
The cover of the CD isn't the one of the artist in question.
For example:
I have a folder called "Nero" and inside a playlists from CD numbe 1, number 2, number 3.
The cover showed doesn't match the artist, it's a cover from another artitst that has nothing  to do with "Nero" for example.
Has someone the same issue ?
Thanks for the help

This is happenning to me too, it's very annoying!

  • Is any one else having issues with iMessages since iOS7?

Since iOS7 I have been having issues with iMessages. They just stop sending and I have to re-start my iPhone or iPad to get these working again. This is happening to my friends as well on different networks but all on iOS7.
Is any one else having this issue?

They had the same issue with ios 4 when it came out and it was resolved with 4.0.1. Before I start the endless visits to noisy Apple stores, I'm hoping they will issue a fix for this and all the other bugs that are popping up.
Hopefully if enough people bring it up it'll get noticed.
    Thanks,

  • Wifi issues with iPhone 4s/iOS7

The wifi on my iPhone 4s is not working properly. It will connect to the wifi network (full strength), but when going to a website the "progress" bar will load about 10% and then just freeze. Websites, Twitter, Facebook, none of them will load over wifi. And because it shows that it's connected to a wifi network, it won't access the cellular data to complete the download. I've tried powering off/on the phone, airplane mode, bluetooth on/off, wifi on/off, and I've successfully connected the phone to two separate networks (one at work and one at home), but cannot get any wifi data. Both networks are functional, confirmed via Kindle FIre and laptop, so unless I'm dealing with two separate routers that all of a sudden decided to block iPhone access, there's something wrong with my iPhone. I did the iOS7 upgrade when it went live, so it's not a new update (currently on iOS 7.0.4). Anybody else run into an issue like this? Any thoughts out there? Thanks in advance.

  • Issues with Playlists in Encore 2.0 - Wisdom required!

    Hi Guys,
I'm seeking some wisdom with regards getting playlists to work in Adobe Encore 2.0
I'm producing a gymnastics training DVD and it's virtually complete. The DVD is essentially 72 exercises in 5 categories with "play all" functions within each category. There are also several other timelines with information/safety .etc.
In the testing phase I noticed that on some players my timelines were starting too quickly (cutting off some of the initial dialouge), despite being fairly generous with the edited starts anyway.
To counter this I created 2 seconds of black footage and dropped it at the start and end of each timeline - thus apparently fixing the problem without having to re-edit all of the clips. This did however lead to a new problem. Now when I played the "play all" playlist it has millions of 2 second pauses in it - very frustrating to try and watch through.
So. I figured what I'll do is create a playlist for each exercise, all the exercise timelines now having had the "black clips" removed. Now each exercise button on the menu links to a playlist of "BLACK TIMELINE, EXERCISE TIMELINE, BLACK TIMELINE". This enables me to create the "play all" playlist to hit all of the exercises without all the "black clips" inbetween (just at the start and end). Brilliant.
This all works perfectly in the preview window.
When I burn this onto disc and play it I start to encounter problems. Each playlist (individual exercise or "play all") simply plays the first "BLACK TIMELINE" and then goes to the last menu. This seemingly makes no sense as I believe I've set my playlists correctly. I have also endeavoured to not use any overrides as I've read about the issues there.
I'm burning onto high quality Taiyo Yuden discs on the lowest possible speed I can (6x). I'm using Encore 2.0 and would be prepared to upgrade if that would solve the problem. That said, I'd really want to drop my project into a new version (not rebuild) and I suspect that is fairyland stuff.
I'm really keen to fix this and any thoughts or advice would be extremely gratefully received.
Many thanks for reading! There are some screenshots of a few aspects of my project below.

^ This is a screengrab of an exercise Playlist. All of the exercise playlists are the same.

    Hi Andy,
Making a training or trivia DVD is much like writing a software program, yet the authoring applications (not just Encore, but even the $50k ones) don't have a debugger. As a software engineer, this seems crazy to me. The DVD navigation commands are like a simple assembler, once you get down to what is underneath the "abstraction layer" created by a program like Encore or DVD Studio Pro.
We have a free demo of DVDAfterEdit which includes "Tracer", which is a debugger that we created.
    http://www.dvdafteredit.com/node/1262
Our software is Macintosh only, it will run on any older Macintosh that can run OS X.
The concept behind DVDAfterEdit is that you can create all your assets with Encore or similar programs, then modify and expand on the navigation using the tools built-in to DVDAE. Others have used this to created titles such as "Scene It", and I created the navigation for "The Quick and Dirty Guide to Pilates" by Digifilm, available on Amazon. This title lets you create a playlist "on the fly", though unfortunately all DVD players discard such information when you eject a disc.
If you are willing to invest the time to learn what is going on underneath the drag and drop interface of Encore, DVDAE can be a very powerful tool. If you are interested, please take a look and try it out, and I will try to answer any questions you might have.
    Regards.

  • Purchased Music Syncing issue with Playlists

Why is music purchased on iPhone 5 not appearing in Recently Added Playlists until I sync with PC? These songs used to show up right away on the phone in my Recently Added Smart Playlists. Please help!

Has anyone else even noticed this or is it going over-looked?  I challenge itunes music purchasers to try and see.

  • Spotify issue with playlist adding

Hey i've been having a problem with adding new songs to my playlists. So whenever I try and add new songs to my playlist it gives me that notification that tells me I already have this song in my playlist. I thought this was weird since I had never played the song or added it to any of my playlists. So I went to my Starred and added the song to it and it told me that I already had it in when clearly it wasn't in my Starred. So i'm wondering if anyone else is having this problem? I hope yall understand what i'm saying xD.

What is the exact IE version you are currently using? and what version where you on prior to that?

  • Issues with updating to ios7

Tonight I tried to update my phone to ios7 through my computer since the option to update wasn't on the settings section of my phone.
I clicked backup but it restored until my last backup before which was 6 months ago when i backed up my iphone 4s and got my iphone 5. So i've lost all of my pictures. I'm really upset because there is some important pictures which some are on my laptop but not all of them. some of my photo stream pics saved but I need my photo library. i logged onto icloud and it only shows contacts, notes, etc but NO pictures.
Is there anyway to get my pictures back?

No, there's not.  If they're not in photostream or on your computer.  You incorrectly hit the restore button instead of the backup button in iTunes.

  • Synch issue with playlist

  • I have an issue with my iPod touch gen. 5 connecting to my iTunes. iTunes says my device has an error, but it does not specify the error and I can't do nothing. I was transferring more music and editing my playlists. My songs and movies are gone.

What can I do to solve an issue with my iPod touch gen. 5 32 gb on connecting to iTunes on my computer? iTunes says there is an error with my iPod touch, which this was a result of deleting my songs and videos. I was only transferring more songs, videos and editing my playlists. I don't have that much of the songs left. What is the best solution?

And what is the wording of the error message?

  • Playlist Sync Issues with new iPod Touch 8G

Hi Guys - This my first post. Just got an iPod Touch 8G for Christmas, and I'm
having some issues with Syncíng it and would appreciate some guidance.
I previously used a Sony PSP as my portable music player, and so my music
is organised into folders, with a .m3u playlist for each folder.
To get the music and the playlist onto the iPod, I tried to use the followqing procedure:
    1. Downloaded and installed iTunes
    2. Registered my iPod and signed up for the iTunes Store
    3. Added one of my folders to the iTunes Library
    4. Synchronised with my iPod (I selected Manually manage music and videos)
Checked that all the songs were downloaded successfully to the iPod, and
    play on the iPOD.
    5. Imported the .m3u playlist into iTunes(File->Library->Import Playlist).
Checked it had all items and could play the tracks from the library.
For some reason, the tracks from the folder now appear twice in the
    Library after this step.
    6. Attempted to sync the playlist to the iPOD. The playlist has 249 tracks,
but for some reason the sync operation fails with error message "Attempting
to copy to the disk 'Joseph Olajubu's iPod' failed. The disk could not be
    written to or read from".
The playlist is partially copied, with between 49 and 208 entries (depending on the sync attempt). Playing the songs from the ipod or creating the playlist directly on the iPOD works. Any idea what's going wrong here? I've tried this operation on 2 different computers with similar results. The iPOD has around 4.5G memroy free. Alternatively, is there software like Anapod available for the iPod Touch if this is an iTunes bug?
Thanks in advance for your help

  • Syncing issues with iOS7

Having been an Apple user for years, since the first smartphone I ever purchased was an iPhone 3GS, I've generally been a very happy customer. I did have an issue with the 3GS once though when my handset got stuck in 'connect to iTunes' mode and was rendered useless after updating the software a couple of years back. Lately, since updating the software to version 11.1.1, I haven't been able to sync my music library correctly. I'm aware a LOT of other people have been having the same issues as well, so of course, when I saw there was a new update to 11.1.3, I got excited, thinking that finally, this issue would be resolved. Has it been resolved? NO!!
While it's syncing more tracks from my library than before, I've noticed that my playlists are only syncing ONE track from each album. This is beyond a joke. I've had it with Apple. Absolutely had it. It should not be that hard to sync my music library. I still have to click on the cloud symbol on a lot of my albums because they haven't downloaded to my phone. Why is it so hard? It never used to be complicated. I'd connect my iPhone to my laptop, and everything would sync without any issues.
As soon as my contract is up, I'm switching to Samsung. I have a lot of friends who've made the move and have said it's the best thing they've done. Goodbye Crapple.

Goodbye, just don't let the door hits you on your way out.

  • Issue with Reminders not working when setting it to arrive or leave a location in iOS7.

    Hi all,
Tried everything: Called support and reset All setting.  Made sure all "location settings" are set.  Restored via iTunes as a new phone, checked all setting again, set a reminder to remind me to get gas when I leave my home, and it never reminded me.  Also, doesn't remind when I arrive at a location.  I have tried this with my wifes phone (iPhone 5) and my daughters (iPhone 4) all running iOS7 and it doesn't work.  I never had this issue with iOS6. All other locations services like GPS, maps, & weather working fine.  I strongly believe it's a iOS7 bug. Has anyone else experianced this issue?

In case you haven't seen this thread:
    https://discussions.apple.com/thread/5329723
Jump to page 5. There is a solution by ben812 that initially worked for me, but after restarting my phone I was back to square one.
I visited the local Genius Bar, and they claim they have not heard of this problem. Whether that is true or not, they know now. One of the employees confirmed that WiFi would need to be on, as the location service checks it first (before using GPS). Seems like a bug, but for now having WiFi on and leaving Reminders running in the background seems to solve the issue.
I hope Cupertino addresses this in an upcoming iOS release.

  • Issue with exported playlist song order

I exported a playlist (with the playlist sorted on the manually arranged order, far left column) as a .xml file using iTunes 7.0.2. When a friend imports this playlist into his iTunes (7.0.1) the song order is incorrect (again with sorting done on the far left column). When I look at the exported XML file with a text editor the order of the song entries is also wrong in the XML file. Has anyone elsed noticed this problem?

Actually, I looked more closely in the text editor and the playlist order looks correct so there appears to be an issue with 7.0.1 (I guess).

  • HT204291 Since upgrading to iOS7, i have experienced issues with Airplay button missing

Since upgrading to iOS7, i have experienced issues with Airplay button missing from the control menu as well as in Spotify.  It is as if airplay is not runing.  A temp fix: Reboot of the ipad mini (Home button+standby) Is there anything permanent?
I have verified that my iPad mini and apple TV is up to date.
Airplay enabled, the network is connected with internet.
It is as if, airplay is a service that just stopped working and has to be restarted again via a reboot.

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
Intermittent problems are often a result of interference. Interference can be caused by other networks in the neighbourhood or from household electrical items.
You can download and install iStumbler (NetStumbler for windows users) to help you see which channels are used by neighbouring networks so that you can avoid them, but iStumbler will not see household items.
Refer to your router manual for instructions on changing your wifi channel or adjusting your multicast rate.
There are other types of problems that can affect networks, but this is by far the most common, hence worth mentioning first. Networks that have inherent issues can be seen to work differently with different versions of the same software. You might also try moving the Apple TV away from other electrical equipment.
