Issues with songs/older NI AU settings after upgrading logic and NI AU

I'm digging around the net for this, but thought I'd ask you all.
I have older songs created with Logic 7 on a PPC with Absynth 3. I have since upgraded to an Intel and Logic 8.02 and also have upgraded to Absynth 4. When I open this older song, all is well except it attempts to load the older version of Absynth (3) and fails. The real issue for me here is that I have settings created on the Absynth 3 inst that I need to re-create the older song with the newer code. Is there a way to load the song to use the newer versions of third party software with the settings used when created on an older version?
Maybe some import process?

No. As far as the application goes, Absynth 3 is a totally different plugin than Absynth 3. If you have saved your presets into a new file, then Absynth 4 is likely able to read from there.

Issue with the material field in ME23N after upgrade

Hi Experts,
We are having an issue with transaction ME23N in ECC6.0 after upgrade from 4.6c.
In this transaction for the given PO the value of the material is not populating. The material coloumn is displaying but the value of the material is not coming.
For the same PO with the same data we are able to see the material number in ME23N in 4.6c.
Please help me to resolve this.

Hi,
If you are a functional consultant then check the configuration settings in SPRO and compare it with the one in 4.6c system to find if the material number display in ME23N is enabled in your new system or not. Go to tcode SPRO and Material Management-> Purchasing->Purchase Order->Define Screen Layout at Document level.
Execute this and select on ME21N or tcode that you are having problem with. Then press details button and double click on Enjoy fields. Check if it Display check box is ticked or not.

Issue with BDC processing of F-65 after upgrade to ECC 6.0

Dear ABAP gurus,
We have upgraded our SAP system from version 4.7 to ECC 6.0.
We are facing issue when processing BDC sessions for transaction code F-65.
The screen which appears for Assignment to a profitability segment creates issue when processing BDC for F-65.
The screen name is SAPLKEAK and the corresponding screen number is 0300.
This screen displays the characteristic and its corrsponding values. The characteristics and its values are pulled in from FICO Config at runtime when you execute F-65 and all relevant Tcodes of business transaction RFBU.
We checked for the characteristics maintained for Characteristic group via std. transaction code KEPA. It shows 4 characteristics listed of which 2 are optional and 2 are mandatory. The same settings are available in older version as well as in ECC 6.0. Also validated the assignment of characteristic group to the actual data i.e to the business transaction RFBU via Tcode KE4G.
When we do recording in SHDB in both the systems, the older version shows it correctly displaying 4 fields(2 optional and 2 mandatory) in the Assignment to a profitability segment screen whereas the new system displays some 12 additional fields. Also none of the fields appear mandatory.
The issue is we are still not able to identify whether this is a technical issue or functional issue.
Searched for relevant OSS notes but couldn't find any.
Anyone of you who have faced this issue, please respond immediately.
We have this issue to be resolved on high priority.
Help will be highly appreciated.

Issue with bringing up Weblogic 10.3 after changing username passcode

I am facing Issue with bringing up Weblogic 10.3 after changing username passcode in security realm Madhok, basically i have removed the default weblogic user and defined m,y own custome user and provide the credentials in the server start tab. When i try and bring up the admin server it comes up fine but the managed servers fail to start from admin console and i can see security credentials authentication error in logs? Why would that be considering the admin server is able to come up with the same credentials.

We had similar problem in the past, our problem was:
Problem:
We deleted weblogic default user from security realm and create new user when node manager and the managed servers were down. When we tries to bring up the managed servers after starting node manager we kept getting authentication denied errors.
Solution:
Recreate weblogic user and now try and bring up managed servers from command line using weblogic user. Once they are up shut them down and bring them up again with the new user you have created and it will work
Reason:
The managed servers in 10.3 seems to be storing the authentication details in there local managed servers ldap or cache. When you start the managed servers the don't know the new credentials and are authenticating against older values of stored credentials, hence they fail. Once they are started with the old credentials they communicate with admin servers to sync there cache with admin servers and the new credentials gets updated and from then on you can restart the managed servers with new credentials.
Note: Sometimes after restart you may face the problem as the sync process with admin server is asynchornous, weblogic prints a line saying something like Performing async operation with server address null. If the line gets printed sync has happened and you are good. In case you don't see the line restart again and you will see the line after which you can restart with new credentials.

I had the same experience with a new iPhone 5 that I bought last week. Did not have a chance to measure battery life before the 6.0.2 upgrade installed but I set up my phone exactly like my 4S and immediately started running out of power after short periods. Went to Xmas get together with fully charged 5 and 4S. Heading home the iPhone 5 shut down for low battery and the 4S had 65% power. Both phones had two half phone calls on then and no data usage.
That night I fully charged the iPhone 5 and, without lighting it up, put it on my night table. Next morning I picked it up and looked at battery indicator and I had 42% charge with NO activity!
Tried it again next night and wound up with 37% charge. (Slept longer).
Today I called the carrier and reactivated the 4S. Took the 5 to Apple Store and they kindly gave me choice of new replacement phone or refund. I took the refund. Uniquely, the Apple Store said it was Verizon CDMA phones that were coming back.
The are other strings on this with temporary solutions, but from my experience with 7 firmware changes on an HTC 4G phone the problem will continue because the solution will be hardware caused. We are in the days where RTM means Rush to Market - not Release To Manufacturing.
I fear the only solution is to either wait for the next model (I did not notice a really major change in performance over the 4S in LTE heavy Seattle area) - or switch to another manufacturer.
It might be useful for these forums to indicate if you have a GSM or CDMA phone to see which have more problems.

If your old version of iTunes is still working - then I sugest you stick with that.
iTunes 11 is a lousy update - It will not retain your playlists, you can't find and delete duplicates... and a whole arry of oyher issues. (have a look around this forum to see how many issues IT11 gives people)

You will not belive how I accidently solved this - !!!
Yes I had the problem immediately after the 5.1.1 'cloud' upgrade, the problems started (on my iphone 4) ... I followed the 'get power down button, then hold HOME for 30 secs' solution, but no result, nothing seemed to work and I was starting to get a bit agressive with the keep it pushed, multiple double click frustrations, icopybot multigesture solutions etc. and paid money ... but this comedy solution now works ...
I discovered it because I ordered a waterproof case for my iphone for my motorcycle ... I've just fitted it to my iphone and all the problems have gone ??? what! ... so wondering why I looked at what the home button on the casing was doing - it was pressing ACROSS the home button i.e. it converted my finger point into a wider 'PRESS
so taking the new case off, instead of using the point of my thumb to press HOME, I used the flat of my thumb to emulate it ....and initially nothing, so I wondered if it wa making better 'cross button' contacts, so I licked my thumb, wiped it and then tried again! - it worked!
I can't explain it but it seems to work - try it! if the double click on HOME doesn't work lick your thumb dry it and try again! I've just done it again

I'd try a hard reset, you have nothing to lose. If that doesn't help and you can shut off the iPod (i.e. the white screen becomes black) you can try to recover it: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808
If that still does not fix the problem and it was Apple that replaced the iPod, return it to them, you have a 90 Day Warranty. If you replaced the screen yourself, I have no idea if you did something wrong in the repair or if the replacement screen was defective. That is the main risk of a self repair. I doubt whether Apple will do an out-of-warranty repair on an iPod that has been opened, but you can try.

Are you using this digitizer with NI VideoMaster? if not you should probably post this in the Digitizer forums. That said I would suggest using the self calibrate function in MAX for this device rather than the LabVIEW API method just so that you can rule out any errors in correctly configuring the digitizer for self cal in LabVIEW. Also you should ensure that all inputs are disconnected before performing a self cal. If this still results in an error in calibration you could refer to the following document or arrange to return the digitizer to NI for external calibration.

To work in this configuration, you just need to setup the AX as a bridge.
To set up the AirPort Express Base Station (AX) as a bridge, using the AirPort Admin Utility, connect your computer directly (using an Ethernet cable) to the Ethernet port of the AX, and then, make these settings:
Network tab
- Distribute IP addresses (unchecked)
- Apply the new setting.

Dear, I Have really big issue after upgrade to new version of OS 10.1.0.273. I have set on my sim Card service CLIR. And i am not able to switch this service now, cause call settings menu are MISSING in application Phone. Item fór CLIR and Conference call etc are missing. I've stated that I've rebooted my router , disabled encryption and updated the firmware none of which have fixed the problem.
Also, I've stated that my wifi works with my iPhone 4s when I'm at work, it doesn't work with my wifi at home so I know that it is a driver issue related to older routers. My girlfriend's ipad 3 stopped working on our home wifi after the update as well.
I can confirm that my wifi issue is with my home network not my work network. I've tried changing encryption types, disabling encryption all together etc.
You can only restore in DFU mode if you use iTunes to backup your iPhone which I don't since I back everything up to my iCloud.

I have seen WiFi problems regarding iOS 6 all over the Web. These were problems with the WiFi, but how many try WiFi other than their home WiFi. Your home WiFi is a problem. The fix for some users is DFU Mode Restore of iPhone. If you would like to try a DFU Mode Restore.
