Issues with the latest N86 software update
As the title says, i updated my n86 software to the latest version with the pre-instaled application in my phone..And then the troubles started...The themes effects such as fading when rotating the screen takes like 10 and i repeat 10 second to finish, the camera starts after too much time and i'm always asked to connect to the internet..what happened?
With the 11.43 software i did not found any problem..suggestions?
The light sometimes remains on, even if i lock the keypad. Beside this, i noticed take my battery lasts like 1 hour while the light is on. This happens few times, but is really annoying.. Also, i now that the theme effects are not essential, but i want to keep my phone fully functional, so i'd like to know what's this issue about..

How can i to restore the original firmware?
I tried to remove my sim(also i don't use a memory card), but nothing changes...

Has anyone had issues with the latest i-tunes update 11.1.4 on Windows Vista
I downloaded the update on 24th Jan, and when I tried to open i-tunes after that it failed to start and the message was MSVCR80.dll and the window suggested that I remove and re-install i-tunes.
I did this and then my CD/DVD drive was not recognised. I then decided to go for a system restore prior to the update. When I did this i-tunes worked again but a window opens every 30seconds saying 'Mobile device helper is not working' At one point I had 116 windows open. Has anyone else had this problem or can offer any advice please? I have an i-pod classic and my system is windows vista which is approx 8yrs old. This resolved my issue with the new update on Vista.
Use the Control Panel to uninstall iTunes and related software components in the following order and then restart your computer:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support
Bonjour
Apple Application Support (iTunes 9 or later) -
Having an issue with the latest Indesign CC update and Easy Catalog plugin.
After the latest CC update I had this strange behavior start occuring. I have multiple pages that load in data and images via Easy Catalog, I've been using the same pages for years without any issues, within the past couple days I've noticed that now, when I run "Update Easy Catalog Fields" on a book all of the images get loaded in at about 25% of their size. If I instead run "Update Document" on a single file it loads in correctly. Any one else having similar issues?

Has anyone experienced an issue with the latest update to iTunes (11.2.0.115) for Windows where iTunes pegs out the processor at 97%, 98%, and holds there for maybe 15 minutes before dropping to 50%. During that time, the system is basically useless. You just have to ride it out. I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium.

I downloaded the latest iTunes software update and it properly installed. But, I cannot close the update window showing it was completed and the blue completion bar is full but cannot cancel or close it either. Any ideas on how to clear that out and close the window. Tried to quit on both the big window and the software update title in the menu bar. No luck.
Tried that by shutting down via the power button only as the normal shutdown was nixed by the open window issue. It did not help. Found a very similar question in the discussions and it recommended "Force Quit". That worked and the update works normal and the window is gone. Thanks!

Just installed the latest iTunes software update (iOS 5.0.1) on my MacBook Pro, and the extra images i had placed on my album covers in the selected item box have disappeared, leaving just one image per track. Any ideas on how to restore would be most appreciated...
Installing an iTunes update does not remove your media or personal files.
Are the files actually missing off the computer, if so, you have a serious computer issue... not a software update issue.
Regardless, use the backup of your media and other important files to put everything back. You do have a backup, correct? -
I cant seem to download and install the latest iphone software update. I have tried since the release and have been unsuccessful on more than 7 occasions and lost all the data on the process. Anyone have that problem an how do I fix this problem?

Thanks but I have tried doing the above - when I said 7 times I was modest, its more like 15 times.
And I am referring to the 5.1 software update. I dont have wifi so I guess I will have to try that seeing that my husband also has the same problem - he has also tried downloading several times. It always times out en says that the connection is lost but yet there are always an internet connection and a decent signal once it stopped. Think it said error 32052 or something!
I am disappointed because the update includes inprovement on the battery life - did you guys notice any difference? -

Thanks!!1) You need to have the paid upgrade installed.
2) You need to paste the lyrics into the lyrics tab of a song/album.
3) You need to re-sync the Touch.
4) When playing music, you click on the album cover (in portrait mode only) and the lyrics will superimpose on the screen.

It was just a hunch that MircoNetFrame was causing the problem. I disabled it as you suggested, and I still have the problem.
I just changed under Tools>Options> General - had checked "ask me every time" under downloads, so instead of asking me, FF saved the download to I know not where. It no longer saves it to the desktop, leaving a duplicate in "my documents".
In windows, I have found unless one knows the entire name of the document, one can never find anything. It isn't listed under recent ''''''__. I can't recall the nomenclature, but the
capability is ridiculous. So, I don't know where that file I just downloaded is!
I downloaded a PDF file, but this happens with all DL's. It was so easy to have them all stacked in one place and I could recall
what I had and when I downloaded it easily.
Do you have any other suggestions other that going back to the old version of FF, which I would rather not do?

Have installed the latest Airport software update. Still no wireless
I was hoping that Apple would fix the can not connect to wireless problem, I installed the latest airport software update but still have the same problem. 10.4 works great but 10.5 will not connect.
Mine is a long and sad story. I have ComCast cable connected from their modem to an Asanti 4 port router. Connections around our little office area are by ethernet. I then have one router port connected to an Apple snow airport. Out of the office area we use the wireless LAN. All of our PC laptops, our PC desk top and our MacBook Pro (running 10.4) will connect through the snow airport LAN when need-be. All of the aforementioned computers will connect to our city-wide free wireless network, Metro-fi Free. Everything works perfectly except my FW800 running 10.5. For now nothing is incripted. If I turn on my airport card I can see available 6 neighborhood wireless LANs, Metro-fi and the snow base station. I installed 10.4 in a separate HD and booted up. It connects perfectly which means my computer and airport card must be OK. The problem is in 10.5 for sure. I tried to check the update you are supposed to see when opening the airport utility but of course the utility says it can find no AirPort base station. I have reinstalled 10.5, run Diskwarrior and TechTool Pro and found no problems. If I did not have such a bunch of stuff in my system HD I would go back to 10.4. What have I overlooked??

thanksNo - but with preview (included on your Mac) you can and you can set Preview as the external editor for iPhoto - so I guess you can with the latest or any version of iPhoto

Like many of you, I installed the 10.4.11 update last weekend with disastrous results. I eventually had to Archive and Install and my machine seems to be recovered. Has anybody had this problem and gone on to try the update a second time with better results ?? A little story, when I first tried to install Jaguar on my then Beige (Yeah, remember them!) G3 MT, it took me a full six months to get that "Darn Cat" in that house! Oh, how I sweated and swore, you talk about "legacy", I waved every "dead chicken" that was suggested to no avail. Ended up that before I bought the unit someone had switched out the CD/ROM for one from one year later, still Apple issue, mind you. I sent to OpAmp and got an original and "The Cat" slid in as quick as grease through a goose. That's how tightly wound Apple was and still is in many ways and is why they stopped the clones. This was one of a slew of many little things you had to get used to in "Mac Land".
One other small thing you used to do a "clean install", you still can, but under OS 9, after you were satisfied (Conflict Catcher made things ever so easy!) all was peachy, you could simply trash your Previous System Folder and get back some valuable disk space. Well not to long after my success with the install of Jaguar and still not understanding OS X at all, I was still working mainly in OS 9, I did a Clean Install on my OS X, horsed around with settings which was difficult without Conflict Catcher and bravely trashed my Prev Sys Folder. Don't ever, EVER do that. What is a seemingly empty shell but for redundant Apps and meaningless abbreviations, is indeed a necessary if gigabyte eating Albatross you are doomed to carry!
My point with these two parables is that we are creatures of trust and habit, living on borrowed time. We have been blessed with a computer system that is virtually foolproof given certain caveats, caveats if adhered to even marginally would guarantee success. I my self have gotten into some very bad habits of late and think that this may be the cause of my computers malaise.
Drop to your knees and be grateful you don't have a PC (shudder!)! Yes Virginia, there is an Insanity Clause! I just installed WinXP on an Intel Mac, and after it was over all I wanted was a stiff drink and a shower!

Need help with the latest PS CC update
Ive had PS CC since its been released and had no problems, however with the latest update Im having a weird problem. I download and install the update, and it goes through, gives me the update was sucessfull message. However, the next time I start up my mac, I get the new update message. Which I download and install with sucessfull message. This has been going on daily for weeks now. Anyone know how to fix this?
My guess is it's a permissions problem.
Try creating a new Admin user, run Photoshop and the updater from the new user. Restart the mac and log into the new Admin user account and see if the updates alert is gone.

I have connected successfully my third generation ipod touch to my Macbook, syncing to I Tunes. Everything syncs except my contacts. The calendars and music all sync succefully, however, when I open the contacts on the Ipod, it says, "no contacts."

I tried to download iDVD 7.1.1 but it says I need 7.0.4 or later. So I downloaded 7.0.4 and then it says that the eligable application "iDVD" is not in my Applications folder! What should I do?
