Issues with updating my apps

I'm having issues updating my apps after I updated to the iOS 7. Everytime I try to update certain apps this message would pop up saying "Update unavailable with this apple ID" And I never used another apple ID other then my own ever since I got this phone. And believe me I tried everything. I signed out and back in. Turned off and turned on my phone. Even tried the reset thing. Nada. I finally resorted to deleting the app and hoping I can redownload it. Didn't work. The same message would pop up and I'm not even updating the stupid app. To make it worse. It's happening on my itunes too. Help?????

I dont know, it is not even visible in the purchase list!!! Meanwhile Apple Support suggested:
I understand that you are having difficulty updating your past purchased "Week Calendar" app. Ill be glad to help you with this.
I checked your account and I noticed that your original purchase for this app has already been refunded back in 06/26/2012. You may not be able to update it due to the refund.
I also understand that when you tried to repurchase it, it does not give you option to purchase it again. To help resolve the issue, please log out on your iTunes account and purchase it again while logged out. It will then prompt you to log in on your iTunes account and be able to purchase it successfully.
Interestingly, it was NOT refunded, but anyway maybe a system error, as not visible in my purchase list either.
NO problem, I would buy it again, but i CANT :-)))) as system says I have it, so I'm entitled for free update, then I press ok, and it says I cant.
It is really ABSURD. :-))))

    I have begun to have issues with (all?) Apple apps and  App store. including not updating after download, and repeat downloading. Two examples:
    I had Pages 5.0.1. 3 days ago I used the app store to download Pages 5.1. This downloaded OK (watched the volume of data on Net Monitor). Although my Pages works OK it remains on 5.0.1, although the App Store shows that 5.1 has been “installed in the last 30 days”, and does not offer any further update. Same scenario for Numbers 3.0.1 and 3.1.
    on the other hand
    Keynote, iMovie and iPhoto won’t even open at all now, if I try to open them I am directed immediately to Apple sign-in in the App Store. Keynote and iMovie show updates available, but not iPhoto. I signed in when I tried just now opening iPhoto, and it immediately starting downloading the software again. I think my iPhoto was 9.5.1, downloaded in December and working fine since then.
    I have access only to limited slow expensive broadband. This is taking my whole monthly allowance.
    Is there some updating controlling software or file on the HD that could be corrupted?
    Any ideas?

    Have been to Library, and looked in Receipts/InstallHistory.plist
    This plist confirms that on 27 Jan App Store downloaded Pages version 5.0.1 again (actually for the third time it appears), although it was supposed to be downloading version 5.1. My App Store/Updates page says version 5.1 was installed (which it isn’t). Same issue for Numbers.
    The plist also confirms that the App Store forced me to download the same version of iPhoto in December and Today.
    Keynote and iMovie (not one of the iWork) won't open until I download again, but do not have the internet capacity to redownload these large files again and again.
    So far iTunes, Aperture and iBook do not seem to be affected. By the way have done simple things like restart, repair permissions etc...
    Are there some files/applications that control the downloading of new versions that might be malfunctioning?

    Thisi is quite old, but not answered properly yet, so there you go:
    SAP generates a new job and temporary variant on report RSDBSPJS, for each HTTP call,which creates database locks on table VARINUM .
    This causes any heavyweight BSP application  to hang and give timeout errors.
    The problem is fixed applying OSS note 1791958, which is not included in any service pack.

    Citrix XenApp 5.0 and 6.0 are supported on 10.x products. As per my deployment tests, they work as expected.
    But am not sure of XenApp 6.5 with 10.0 products, though it should work but I have not tried them.
    In order to avoid any issue, we should stick with the correct prerequisites.

    I am a windows/mac user... And I was  Linux user for several years...  And so far I have been really happy with apple but this problem is frustrating.
    I don't understand:
    1)Why can't I go back to iOS7 since this was apparently the most stable version for my iPad ?
    2) Why is apple not doing anything about it,  ?
    3) If the problem is that my iPad's can't fully support the features of iOS8, why on earth have they made it available to iPad 2?
    Any way, I will just wait a bit longer and probably start looking in to a Samsung tablet or something....

  • TS3899 Has anyone else had issues with the mail app after downloading the 6.1.2 update on their iphone 5?

    After downloading the 6.1.2 update on my iphone 5, the mail app won't even open, nor will the mail settings in the settings section. Has any one else had this problem, if so is there a way to fix it?

    I've updated two iPhone 3GS to iOS6.1.2. Both no longer work with Hotmail. Tried deleting account followed by a reset. Both still stuck trying to verify account for about 5mins before failing to verify account information. Giving up at this point as I cannot bill Apple for the hours spent so far trying to fix this. Lately I'm spending more and more time resolving issues with Apple software iOS and OSX ML. Apple's reputation is falling rapidly. Such a pity.
    Moved to Safari trying to log in over a web browser. That failed as well. Cleared the cache and cookies followed by a reset. Enabled accept cookies to Always and then was able to log in to hotmail and see emails through Safari.
    I realise that 3GS is relatively older technology but iOS 6 has not been good to this platform. Everything runs slower than before and there are bugs I'm seeing that are not in the public domain. It's not a hardware fault as my wife's phone is behaving the same way. She's not too pleased either IMHO.
    These issues are not happening on Ipad after applying the same update.

  • Issue with Updating Apps through iTunes

    I have been having this issue for sometime now, and through multiple versions of iTunes. Whenever I open up iTunes and see that there are apps that I need up update, i'll click on applications, ill go and click update apps, I'll see the apps that need to be updated and ill click update. I put in my password, but when I do that, I get an error saying:
    We could not complete your iTunes store request. There is not enough memory available.
    There is an error in the iTunes Store. Please try again later.
    Obviously I have enough memory and space on my computer, but not sure if this is an error with the store itself or with my computer some how. I can download new apps with out a problem, purchase anything and download anything through iTunes, even after that error pops up, but I just cant update any apps. I can update them on my phone, and if I sync my phone with iTunes, and then try updating apps that might not be on my phone when I updated them, it will work then. Not sure what would cause this, and its not that big of a deal, just an annoyance and something I find a bit odd.

    I'm unable to update my Apps.  The "Update All" button is not highlighted.  If I click on the individual App, it just goes to that App, instead of updating it.  I've seen this issue from other people, but no one has supplied an answer that I've seen.  Is the problem on Apple's end?

    Actually, I have seen a few people answer it and state that restoring to factory settings fixed it. You can try that. Backup your iPad, restore to factory settings, restore your backup and see how that works for you.

  • Issues with updating apps on ONE iMac - please help!

    I use an iMac at home and at work.  At work, firewalls or similar have been stopping my apps being updated and also accessing the itunes store
    I brought the iMac home at the weekend so I could bring everything up to date.
    However, the itunes stuff downloaded immediately. Two apps from teh store updated quickly too.
    However 6 other apps would not update - I kept getting a null message.
    After a few attempts I have been getting teh following message for all six apps. "The product file could not be verified It may be damaged or was not signed"  I have tried updating all and doing them individually.  I even tried deleting one app completely to reinstall but the same message came up everytime.
    The apps range from Final Cut Pro X to Angry birds so it's not like they even just apple ones.
    Anyone able to help me?

    OS X Lion Update 10.7.4 (Client Combo) may help Chris. Restart your Mac after the combo is installed then try updating your apps.
    Make sure you are using the same Apple ID for updating that you used to them with.
    It's ok to do this even though you are already running v10.7.4 on your iMac.
    I even tried deleting one app completely to reinstall but the same message came up everytime.
    If you just dragged the app to the Trash, that does not remove all the associated files.

    Hi dudes. I have the following issue with app store and iTunes form my country. I have had 1009 ERROR past year since APPLE blocked Iran form accessing iTunes because of US sanctions. But till recent months and when US gov. gave permissions to US companies to reduce sanctions to Iran, the 1009 ERROR
    disappeared.
    Unfortunately in recent weeks, accessing iTunes and App Store is denied from Iran again. Why? and What can we (Apple Fans and Customers) do?

    - turn journe off.
    - insert sd card with latest firmware
    - reset journe with reset switch (left to right)
    - boot journe and follow instructions
    - install digi clock from virtual store

    but still recieve error message when using the gutenberg app (like mentioned before).
    so, if somebody could just try the app and give me a response. that would be nice. gutenberg is a great platform for free ebooks, but without the possibility to search its useless.
