  • IOS 5.1 or iPhone Configuration Profile 3.5 for Windows has not fixed the issue with apply Proxy Settings

iOS 5.1 or iPhone Configuration Profile 3.5 for Windows has not fixed the issue with apply Proxy Settings via a Configuration Profile. Has anyone else got the same issue? Are Mac users got this issue?

This seems to be working for me now but will keep monitoring it the next couple of times I use it to make sure its not a one time thing

  • Is there an issue with thepatch proxy (LPS) today?

I can do an smpatch analyze from the LPS server directly to Sun, but the LPS never caches the current.zip or any other files for that matter.
It was working fine a few days ago (3/14/2007)
Here's the errors from a diag run:
    # smpatch analyze -@ -C patchpro.internal.statustags=true -C patchpro.log.level=7 -C patchpro.debug=true -C patchpro.log.file=/tmp/smpatchDebug.log

I have been experiencing this same issue lately on a couple of newly built servers (analyze works, update/download fail), including on a 32 bit x86 machine I just installed yesterday from the 11/06 CDs (default install packages). One difference I noticed between a machine that works and one that doesn't is that the working machine has a two files in the /var/sadm/spool/cache/entitlement folder, while the failing machine has only one - it's missing the .lmd file.
Here is the requested info from my failing server.

  • Issues with ABAP Proxy in XI 3.0

    Hi,
We are on XI 3.0.  We are doing a scenario of file >XI> R/3 (ABAP Proxy).
The XML message is going to R/3 with no errors as indicated in the monitors on both XI and R/3.  The XML messages has the status of 'Message Processed'.  But, the proxy never gets executed.  Is there a step I must perform to execute the Proxy?  My understanding is that if the Receiver Communication Channel is of XI type, it will automatically execute the Proxy on the R/3 (receiving) system.
We tested the proxy using the report SPRX_TEST_INBOUND, and it works as expected.
    Please advise.
    Thanks in advance.
    Best Regards,
    Doo

    Hi Doo,
how do you know, that the proxy was not called?
If you are missing database updates, check if you have a commit work in the code.
    Regards
    Stefan

  • Issue with the Proxy

    Hi
I am having a problem generating proxies for an Asynchronous call. When the proxy is generated in the sandbox the method EXECUTE_ASYNCHRONOUS is created.
However a method is generated with the PI message interface name.
For example: if the message interface face name in PI is ZMI_MaterialClientProxy, the proxy is generated with a method name ZMI_MATERIAL_CLIENT_PROXY.
    Please Help!
    Thanks & Regards.

    Hi ,
      Assume your message interface as'ZMI_MaterialClientProxy'
if you generate proxy by consider prefix as 'ZPR' and packageas '$tmp'.
then your proxy class generated with  ZPR_CO_ZMI_MaterialClientProxy"
       method generated with 'EXECUTE_ASYNCHRONOUS'.(for outbound)
methos generated as ZPR_II_ZMI_MaterialClientProxy~EXECUTE_ASYNCHRONOUS (for inboud)
    warm regards
    mahesh.

  • Issue with ABAP Proxy

    Hi,
My scenario is SAP(ABAP Proxy) - XI - Web service. I can not see any messages in XI when I run the Proxy program, when I check for the outbound messages from SXMB_MONI in SAP system the message status is "Scheduled" and Q.Status shows "Message waiting in Queue" .   What could be the message status if the outbound proxy is successful?
Can someone let me know what could be the problem and where I can check for entire scenario for these problesm?
    Thanks
    Suresh

    Hi,
If this is not a Production System means,
goto SMQ2 and delete all the Strucked Messages in all the Queues.
And now goto SMQR say De-Register Queueus and
goto SXMB_ADM--Manage Queues--Just say Register Queues
Now Trigger your Report Program to send the data to XI.
Check in R/3 side as well as in Xi side also in the T-code SXMB_MONI for Successfully processed messages.

  • SSL Issue with reverse proxy module

    Hi there,
I'm hoping someone can help me. I am using Sun ONE Web Server 6.1SP7 Reverse Proxy Plugin to connect to a backend server over SSL.

  • Video Streaming Issue with Rolling Audio

I have several flash based lessons that I have created that are being distributed online to several companies.
Each lesson has a video that is played within the lesson through the flvplayback control. The videos were supplied by a third party and some of the videos are encoded at 384K and some are at 568K.
One company that is attempting to view the lessons is seeing the following behavior. The video plays for approximately 20 seconds then suddenly the video drops out and the audio continues to play. With the audio still playing the video scrubber rolls back and attempts to start the video again but all that comes through is the audio track again. Now there are 2 instances of the audio playing with no video. This happens a third time and finally keeps going until all the audio is played out.
The IT staff at the company has showed me a fiddler log that shows the flash player making a connection out to Akamai to retrieve the video and then rolling from port 80 to port 1935 and finally to port 443. This would explain the three audio tracks playing
I have read that the flash player will attempt to gather the stream from the stated rtmp location and then if it encounters an issue with a proxy or firewall it will attempt the other ports.
So I am not sure if there is anything I can do by design or programatically to alleviate this issue. It appears to me that the company attempting to view this video has some kind of bandwidth throttling program in place that is kicking off this behavior in the flash player.
Is it possible to prevent the flash player from making the three attempts? Would a sudden cut of bandwidth prompt the player to attempt to roll to another port if a network load balancing program suddenly kicked in? If it is bandwidth is that why the audio stream continues to play because there is enough bandwidth for the audio track to get through, but not the video?
I have attached a screen shot of the sniffer output so you can see the rolling ports thing.

As it turns out they do not allow traffic over the default rtmp ports. They do have a proxy server in place, but it does allow http tunneling. I had one of the users on their network hit the port testing page that adobe provides and hit laptop passed the test by allowing tunneling.
Incidentally it can be found here if you need it: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/164/tn_16466.html
I created a flash movie that had the flvplayback component in it streaming from one of the flv files I have on Akamai and it worked for the end user.
This was a little depressing because I was hoping I could simply blame his network and walk away .
I then changed the component in my lesson to specifically use tunneling and this worked for the end user with the video issue, but then caused issues for all the other companies viewing the lessons.
I believe they are using FP version 9.0.124.0 at this particular company and not unlike most places I have dealt with they tell me it is impossible to upgrade to FP10.
So I think what is happening is the scorm communications and the web service communications and the video and the load balancing software and the client side proxy server are all coming together to cause the issue.
It seems to me that it isn't an issue I can solve via changing publish settings or programmatically although I have been looking at the proxyType property of the NCManager for the flvplayback control to see if setting the fallback to CONNECT might solve the issue.

  • SOAP- Proxy scenario, issue with WS adapter

    Hi guys,
i've set up a soap->abap proxy scenario (on 7.1) and want to use the new WS adapter. unfortunately I'm facing some issues. The proxy has been generated properly and I also set it up in soamanager. I tested it from XML Spy and it works fine. So there shouldn't be any problem with it.
But when I try to run the scenario, I get following error:

    Hi,
"ICM_HTTP_CONNECTION_FAILED" this error is relaed to ICM. Does your Type H connection "INTEGRATION_SERVER_HMI" works fine. And check integration engine configuration in SXMB_ADM.
And here is a similar thread.

  • Outlook 2011 Connection Issue with Proxy Server after 10.8 Upgrade

    Hello,
After upgrading my MBA to 10.8, my MS Outlook (Outlook Mac 2011) mail connection does not work for an exchange based mail account where a VPN/proxy server combination is involved. This was not an issue at all under 10.7. What's interesting is that it's not an issue with MS Outlook 2010 on my Parallels VM either under 10.8. There are no internet connectivity issues, I am able to connect to the internet using Safari and other browsers. Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Manish

I was having a similar problem using Outlook 2011 running under Mountain Lion (10.8.2) on an MacBook Pro. When at work, behind our proxy server, I could not get Outlook to connect to a client's public Exchange server, but this worked fine without changing any settings when I was connected to our DMZ network or at home (no proxy server in these cases). My MacBook was configured to use "Auto Proxy Configuration", and Safari worked fine in all three locations (as did Apple mail)
Today, the Microsoft Office auto-updater downloaded an update, and since it was installed, the problem has been fixed and I've been able to connect to our client's external Exchange server event when behind our local proxy server (Outlook now reports that the latest installed update is 14.2.5)

  • SCCM 2012 R2 ADR issue with proxy authentication

    Hi,
    We're migrating SCCM 2007 to SCCM 2012 R2.
In SCCM 2007, the proxy server is configured with user authentication, and this works.
In SCCM 2012 R2, the Software Update Point is installed locally and connected with a local WSUS 4.0 (Server 2012)
We use a proxy with user authentication for Update Deployment. (This user is the same as configured in SCCM 2007.)
The Proxy Server is Blue Coat SG.
The proxy account is used for:
The Synchronization works, but Automatic Deployment Rule (ADR) doesn't work.
When an Automatic Deployment Rule is started, it tries to authenticate 3 times.

It seems that the ADR uses a wrong password when authenticating with the proxy, but this same user works when synchronizing with WSUS.
We performed the following actions with no result:
run the ADR manually and automatic,
    reinstalled WSUS and SUP,
    changed proxy user account.
    Regards,
    Matthias

    Currently, the command shows:
    Current WinHTTP proxy settings:
        Direct access (no proxy server).
    We've been testing with:
    upddwnldcfg.exe /s:<proxyserver>:<port> /u:<user> /allusers
psexec -i -s iexplore.exe, set Internet Explorer proxy manually
All with same result, proxy user getting locked when ADR runs.
(These settings have been removed after the test.)
I think dekac99 would suggest netsh winhttp set proxy or import proxy.
then turn off proxy use on the role SUP (this way not SCCM will send auth but all winhttp will use proxy)
the problems with that for me are:
    - if MS implemented role-based proxy usage, why set at http layer - of course this might work as a workaround for the time being so it might be a good idea but I'm just not sure what unwanted issues it may cause
    - the other thing is where I'm not sure, with set proxy you cannot define authentication account. if you use import from IE and the IE prompted for proxy auth, the stored credential will be used on winhttp layer (though I'm not 100% sure of that) - so this
is just too uncontrolled for me
    - upddwnldcfg.exe will need to run in the name of system account (it stores credentials under HKCU so far I know it will be a per user based setting)
--> what confuses me, the catalog synch works which should use the same configured proxy and account(?), only ADR does not work. shouldn't they both use the same process for sending account auth info?

  • Issue with calling an external web service using web service proxy

    Hi,
I've created several web services using JDeveloper succesfully in the past, however I'm getting an issue with one that was working ok previously. Have spoken to the developers of the external web service and they say they haven't changed anything. Also if I test the external web service through soapUI for example it seems fine so it would seem that the issue is with the autogenerated code created by JDeveloper.
Basically I get the following exception as it sends the request to the external service:
java.security.PrivilegedActionException: javax.xml.soap.SOAPException: Message send failed: Bad Authentication header format: 'Basic realm="Integration Server" encoding="UTF-8"'
    Expected "," at position 33
    The user name/password appear correct.
    JDev version 10.1.3.42.70
    Any ideas?
    Many Thanks
    Gary

Found the answer. Basically I had one proxy web service working and one not both linking to a middle tier written in web methods. THe issue actually ended up being with the web methods code in that the one web service (that was not working) was put together using a backwards compatability mode. Once this was switched back then started working again in JDev.

  • Weblogic server proxy issues with twitter4j api

I am using weblogic 10.3.4 using twitter4j Api running behind the proxy. I am not sure why I am getting this error. I do have the proxy name, port number, userid and password set in the twiiter4j api. The same code works fine for me in tomcat behind proxy. When I was trying to migrate from tomcat to weblogic i am getting following error. Any help is really appreciated. I am not sure its the issue with weblogic

    Hi,
Has anybody got the solution like 64-bit libroxy or its source code to compile as 64-bit? I'm facing the same problem.

  • Solution: iPad/iPhone Login issues with IIS as Reverse Proxy (Android and Windows Phone works)

    Hi,
I had issues with iPad/iPhone access from external and tried a lot. Now I found my solution I like to share.
I setup a IIS on Windows Server 2012 with ARR 2.5 and Android and Windows Phone could login but not iPad and iPhone.
The IIS Log on the reverse proxy showed:
    2013-02-26 12:03:31 <IP> POST /webticket/webticketservice.svc X-ARR-CACHE-HIT=0&X-ARR-LOG-ID=1996c8d7-09d0-4310-8da4-a8dfb7940e28 443 - <ClientIP> Lync%202010/1.6+CFNetwork/609+Darwin/13.0.0 - 401 0 0 124
    2013-02-26 12:03:31 <IP> POST /webticket/webticketservice.svc X-ARR-CACHE-HIT=0 443 - <ClientIP> Lync%202010/1.6+CFNetwork/609+Darwin/13.0.0 - 502 3 12018 93
First Request gets a 401 while anonymous. Second try would be with authentication but it never reached the internal front end server.
After I installed a fix for ARR
http://forums.iis.net/t/1195560.aspx/1?ARR+502+3+Bad+Gateway+0x80072ef2+2147954418+The+supplied+handle+is+the+wrong+type+for+the+requested+operation the Apple Devices could login.

    Hi,
This resolved our problem too!! So happy after 2 weeks of messing around with just about every setting recommended from all types of forums and rebuilding our reverse proxy I was at a loose end.
Our environment is Lync 2013 Enterprise, Lync 2013 Edge, IIS as Reverse Proxy on Server 2012 using ARR 2.5
We had Android and Windows clients working but no iOS devices at all. In the iOS log we were seeing
<h1>Server Error</h1></div><div id="content"> <div class="content-container"><fieldset> <h2>502 - Web server received an invalid response while acting as a gateway or proxy server.</h2> <h3>There is a problem with the page you are looking for, and it cannot be displayed. When the Web server (while acting as a gateway or proxy) contacted the upstream content server, it received an invalid response from the content server.</h3> </fieldset></div></div></body></html>
When the client was trying to retrieve from the webticketservice.svc
    2013-04-11 17:19:44.659 Lync[4970:6c61000] INFO TRANSPORT TransportUtilityFunctions.cpp/907:<ReceivedResponse>

    HttpHeader:StatusCode 502
    Installed the HotFix from here:-
Hotfix for Microsoft Application Request Routing Version 2.5 for IIS7 (KB 2732764) (x64)
Rebooted the Reverse Proxy and iOS clients worked straight away for both Lync 2010 and Lync 2013 on both iPhone 5 and iPad both.
I hope this helps others as I was losing the plot :-)
    Cheers
    Sam
