Experts: Regarding an Export in GTS: What is best practice for issuing a corresponding Certificate of Origin?
For blanket declrations (for example NAFTA yearly) where is this created, and is there a way to tie the blanket certification to individual transactions?

LTVDs reflect the sourcing of your materials. You certify the good's origin for all business transactions, as long as their origin is eligible for preferential treatment. LTVDs do usually not refer to a specific business transaction as the good's status is a 'generic' information.
If you one day change your sources (consider all sources you have - multiple suppliers, or your own production using raw materials) and it turns out one of your sources is NOT eligible anymore, the validity ends - for all transactions. You are then obliged to revoke the validity of your positive statement to a negative one. You might then want to inform your customers.

In case you really had only 1 export for your time range / material / customer combination, you can easily check in GTS for the LTVD that was issued for it.

If I got your question correctly, there are almost 150+ standard forms available in GTS in which you can modify and use among them... You can find the list in the Form BuilderTCode: SFP Search Help...

Delete technically incomplete document from GTS

Hi
I created a Sales order in ECC and then deleted it.
Now no record is found in ECC. but when i created that order it was passed on to GTS. It is now reflected in the technically incomplete document list in GTS.
How do i delete this entry?

As per Page 48 - GTS 7.0 Compliance Management Configuration guide:
1. You can monitor whether a corresponding feeder system document exists for a
customs document in SAP GTS by choosing transaction /SAPSLL/CUHD_FS_SYNC in
your feeder system.
2. Call table /SAPSLL/OBJSYNC in your feeder system and check whether an entry has
been created in the table for the relevant feeder system document.
3. Call table /SAPSLL/CDSYNC in SAP GTS and check whether an entry has been
created in the table for the relevant feeder system document.
4. Transaction /SAPSLL/CUHD_FS_SYNC checks whether an entry exists for the relevant
feeder system document in both tables.
     a. If there is an entry for every feeder system document in both tables, then the
           corresponding table entries are deleted automatically.
     b. If there is not an entry for every feeder system document in both tables, then
           only the entry in the feeder system table, /SAPSLL/OBJSYNC, is deleted
           automatically. In table /SAPSLL/CDSYNC in SAP GTS, the value X is entered
           in field CHCDS. This way, you can monitor whether a feeder system document
           exists or not.

Need to pull License type from GTS to R3 in case of STO documents

Hi Gurus,
Currently, In standard sales order process, we are using 2 functional modules in R3 to get the ECCN number and license type from GTS. This is required to populate on some billing output.
Functional modules used are:
/SAPSLL/***_DOCS_SD0C_FETCH_R3
/SAPSLL/***_DOCS_SD0C_GET_R3
Using above mentioned functional modules, we can only pull ECCN number and license type from GTS only if we pass sales document number to this FM and further system pulls ECCN and license type from GTS by referring the sales document number.
Issue:
We have a requirement is to pull the License type in case of STO documents also but STO documents/STO deliveries are not checked for GTS check, so we can not use above mentioned functional modules to pull the license type from GTS to R3 because STO/PO / deliveries do not exist in GTS.
I just have the material number with me and I need to pull the license type from GTS to R3.
Could anyone please advise the table name or any structure where i can pass the material number in GTS and can pull the license type to R3.

Thanks for your kind response. Regarding your second point, I am already pulling the ECCN number by using one customized functional module so I already have ECCN number with me. Could you please brief me how I can pull the License type linked to an ECCN number. What is the relationship table/ logic for pulling the license type by passing the ECCN number ??

Issue with Document from Template

Hi Friends,
I am using a Document from Template step to display a set of records in my Workflow. For this i have a created a template of type excel sheet and i have linked the multi line container element from my workflow to this template. But i am not able the view the records in
sequence.Lets say my multi line container element has the following 2 records:
WEATH_ZONE     02/01/2008     03/31/2008     ABC
BACKACST        03/01/2008        03/31/2008        123
Once i execute my Workflow i am getting the values appended in a
single row in excel sheet as follows.
WEATH_ZONEBACKACST     ABC123     02/01/200803/01/2008     03/31/200803/31/2008
But i need them in the same format as above.Please let me know how i can solve this issue.
BTW I have done the linking in the template as follows where Str is my multil ine container element and the values after dot is my fields.

This workaround worked for me:
You need to enter manually a ## behind your element.
For example if your multiline element is :
{&BUS2012.REPORTDESCRIPTION&}
You need to insert a ## in the element (in the word-document), like this:
{&BUS2012.REPORTDESCRIPTION##&} .

I want to have a button , on clicking of this button one excel file ( already located at MIME Repository) should open in a new window.
To achieve the same, I have added one button. and also added one java script web item in my web template.
And as per my understanding, I need to write command/code in the script web item.
I have tried with several standard commands available, but not yet succeeded.
Please suggest the appropriate command or code , that I can put into the java script web item.

Are there a BADi(s) to update documents in ERP from GTS?

We have a requirement to update the feeder system document with data from GTS. Mostly, it is in regards to the Goods Receipt/Invoice. We are being asked to update this document(s) with the Entry Number assigned by Customs.
Are there BADi(s) for this?

Check BadI : /SAPSLL/ECC_INBOUND, method POST_INBOUND_PROCESS_CUPED or POST_INBOUND_PROCESS_CUHD.
What you can do, or maybe combine it with the note mentioned by Dave, is to use the BadI for GTS->ECC call. It is triggered immediately after inbound message processing, so it would fit the situation where you recieve the MRN number from customs.
In this Badi then you can choose what to do.. either call an ECC bapi to update your ECC document or send an Idoc to ECC system with the relevant information that will then be picked up in ECC with a bg job, there are more options..

Yes I tried it at first with Script Item but it did not work. I am not sure how should I change the path because of the portal:
"/sap/bw/Mime/Customer/.../file.htm" - this path is not working anymore
Another option that you mentioned I do not want to use. I have about 20 different html files in MIME repository so I would have to create 20 different web application. I do not like this solution.

Would you know if there's a way to mimic Deski

Thanks for the reply.The file is not available in the server. Though, I checked CMS and I found an instance in history tab and the status is failed with error below.
Error Message:
A variable prevented the data provider Query 1 with BANRRD30 from being refreshed. (DMA0008).When I checked my codes, I found out that the object Im using is for web intelligence data provider. However, I cannot find any documentation and example for passing parameter values in desktop intelligence data provider. Any idea on this? You think this is not suported by Report Engine SDK?Thanks.

Transferring pages document from iMac to iCloud causing layout issues.

I recently transferred a Pages document from my iMac to iCloud's pages (beta).
In doing so, the iCloud version of pages completely scrambled the document's layout.

I still have the original document on my iMac, so I am able to re-upload the document to iCloud pages.

PDF documents in GTS

Hi all,
i am trying to find the physically location where the ABD and AGV documents are saved. Background: We want to download the files for achivation to an other storage location. And I am a little bit confused, because I didn´t find any PDF file. For you information, we are using the content server. My questions:
- Do GTS save the documents as .PDF files?
- Where can I find the storage location, where this .PDF files physicalle saved?

We found a solution for transfering GTS documents "back" into ERP system. A report send the binary data from GTS server to ERP server and creates a document link on the original invoice. Now we are able to show and print this documents with transaction VF03 as PDF.

Open document from interactive report

Application Express version 4.0.2.00.07.
In apex I am trying to accomplish the following:
1. create a link to a pdf or Word document stored on local network using the file browse button.
2. store the link to that file in my table but not store the actual document in the oracle table.
3. open the document from link in interactive report.
My dba does not want to store anymore documents into oracle because of performance issues we are experiencing with current applications that do this. Does anyone know the where to find sample code that will accomplish this task or will load the linked document into the oracle table but delete the document from the blob when the document is closed.

You're probably looking to use the BFILE functionality - a pointer to a LOB on the filesystem.

Cannot open document from SharePoint site

Hi All,
Randomly, I got this error when I trying to open a document from SharePoint sites like 'https://sharepoint.partners.extranet.***.com/'. When issue happend, all document cannot be opened from this
site. Here is the Error message snapshot:
'sorry, we cannot open 'https://..... ' because the server isn't responding'
Notes:
1) The issue only happend to this site and it's children sites.
2) If you click the button 'Try Again', the issue will be fixed, but later (several hours/days), the same issue happend again.
3) When issue happenend, other accounts can still open the files. The same account can open docs as well from other machines. But the issue is not related to this account and this machine because I can repro the issue from other machines.
The issue happend more than 1 year, if you can share something insight that will very helpful. Thank you!
