Istanbul in AUR is broken and out of date!

Hello everyone,
I've just tried to install istanbul (screen recorder) from the AUR and is broken. Is there any way to notify the maintainer about this problem?

Here is a recent post I assembled for a similar question:
Unfortunately you got caught up in the minor miracle of Rosetta. Originally licensed by Apple when it migrated from the PowerPC CPU platform that it had used from the mid-1990's until the Intel CPU platform in 2006, Rosetta allowed Mac users to continue to use their library of PPC software transparently in emulation.
However, Apple's license to continue to use this technology expired with new releases of OS X commencing with Lion (and now Mountain Lion). While educational efforts have been made over the last 6 years, the fact is that Rosetta was SO successful that many users were caught unaware UNTIL they upgraded to Lion or Mountain Lion.
Workarounds:
1. If your Mac will support it, restore OS X Snow Leopard;
2. If your Mac will support it, partition your hard drive or add an external hard drive and install Snow Leopard into it and use the "dual-boot" method to choose between your PowerPC software or Lion/Mt. Lion;
3. Upgrade your software to Intel compatible versions if they are available, or find alternative software that will open, modify and save your data files;
3. Install Snow Leopard (with Rosetta) into Parallels:

Missing and out of date drivers

I need to replace missing and out of date drivers on my HP computer. Also all in one HP6500 printer. I'm running Windows 7. Anyone know of a good program for these two tasks?

Broken and out-of-warrent foreign iphone 4s

I bought an iphone 4s approximately 2 years ago fron USA. As apple provides just an year warrenty, my iphone 4s is now out of warrenty. The main issue is that i bought my iphone from USA and at present i'm in India and the back and front glass of my iphone 4s is cracked.So, what should i do now as im in india and my iphone 4s will be considered as foreign and out-of warrenty iphone.

If the phone is still working then find a 3rd party repair site and have them replace the front and back glass. You can only do an out-of-warranty replacement of the entire phone if you return to the US with it or send it to a friend or relative to take it in.

Firefox showing up to date and out of date at the same time.

Trying to use www.workflowy.com and the sites says my firefox is out of date. HT201394 ios 8.0.2 causes my iphone 5 to jump in and out of data/cell service. Has anyone else experienced this?

I have an Iphone 5 16 gig on the Sprint network and since i've updated my ios, it now jumps in and out of cellular service. I was told that you can revert back to 8.0.0 but i can not find a way of doing that. Has anyone else experienced this problem and found a fix?

Poor performance and out of date

I'm sorry to have to say this, having been a big fan of Robohelp in the past, but Robohelp 8 is like something out of the dark ages. I last used it 2003 and it doesn't seem to have been updated since then.
These are the problems I've encountered so far:
1. Compared with general authoring and editing in Dreamweaver it is slow and cumbersome.
2. The CSS is very difficult to edit and still uses point sizes for fonts (no 'em' option appears on menus). The potential of CSS doesn't seem to be understood by the Robohelp people
3. The glossary hotspot doesn't find all glossary entries even though the text on the page is EXACTLY the same as the glossary entry. This means that the feature unuseable as I can't see any way of adding them by hand.
4. There is no help as far as I can see on using CSS styles for Mini TOC
5. The help generally is the type that states the obvious and describes what's on the screen but doesn't give indepth information.
I'm in a bit of fix here as I recommended this product and it's really not up to job.

Dreamweaver creates HTML that is at once source and output. A HAT such as RoboHelp processes source code to generate and publish targeted output for multiple layouts, online and print. It might use points instead of ems, but that's a decision based on these business variables.
If you double click the minitoc placeholder, you're presented with this dialog for styling it.
I've always used a separate Glossary topic, accessible from a toolbar button and from the TOC, instead of the default built-in utility, but that's just me.

How do I revert my iWeb published site (the actual published site in internet is up to date) the one on my repaired computer is old from a time machine back-up and out of date?

The question is above I repaired my hardrive and the iweb site is from an old time machine back-up. In the web my site is up to date and I want to update my computer stored iWeb site to the site in internet ?

You need to copy and paste the content from the published files back into iWeb and recreate any missing pages since iWeb has no import facility.

Aura Vs Yaourt different number of out-of-date AUR packages

After seeing the release announcement for Aura 1.2.0 I figured I would try it out and see what I thought of it. There are a lot of differences between the two usability wise, one of the biggest that will take some getting use to separation of Pacman repos and AUR which makes sense. One thing that I am worried about is that Yaourt and Aura gives different number of AUR packages that are out of date.
Yaourt says aur/foomatic-db-foo2zjs is out-of-date, but Aura states "No AUR package upgrades necessary." Does Aura track AUR packages differently than Yaourt or is this due to something else?

Such nonsense.... all packages should be installed/removed by pacman, regardless of the helper. Any helper that doesn't use pacman correctly should be ashamed of itself.
I recommend you bin both of them and use cower.

Where is "Reserve space for disk use" in iTunes? Docs are out of date

Where did "Resereve space for disk use" go in iTunes? I can't find it any more.
This is major problem because if I want to auto-fill my phone (I don't have time to constantly set up playlists) I then get constantly get errors that my phone is full and that I can't take photos. This is really frustrating.
If I got to iTunes Help, the documentation is wrong and out of date. I have iTunes 11.1.5 and if I go to Help -> iTunes Help and look at this section, it's completely wrong. See attached screenshot.
The whole iTunes UX has become a confusing mess, I hope you're looking for a new product manager for it.

I am having the same issue. It even tells you that you can reserve space on your phone in the iTunes help, but I can not figure out how to open the Autofill Settings window in iTunes. Here is what it says in help of iTunes 12.0.1.26:

As long as they are already ticked in your iTunes then yes. Just to check do a sync and as long as everything stays the same you are good to go.

TpT2 Stylus slot is broken and the stylus fell out.

The stylus slot in the top left corner of my TPT2 is broken and thus keeps causing the stylus to fall out unexpectedly. The most recent time this happened, I couldn't find it anywhere. So I am hoping that the local Lenovo depot will be able to repair the casing to its original state, as well as ship me a replacement stylus. Can this be done, whether under warranty or not?

Yes, I know that. In fact I am now using an X series tablet pen to navigate my tablet. In the meantime, I have taped over the pen slot to prevent anything from building up inside while I try to locate my missing pen.
But what I would like to know is where I can easily and quickly get a replacement pen, i.e. the pen that was originally designed for use with the tablet (without the eraser tip), and that fits in that slot? If the dedicated pen is no longer available, is there perhaps a way to have the hole filled in (permanently)?

I'm afraid you're going to have to be a little more specific. Is it that the unit doesn't turn off, when you hold down the power button? Or that it won't go out of Rescue Mode? What options have you tried in Rescue Mode?

Not sure what you mean by "procedure to replace."
