Hi,
I have setup defaulting rule for line type and changed the new plsql api for Return. Now I have error as OE_DEF_MAX_ITERATIONS while placing an order in both istore and OM. what is the solution for this. is this issue caused by my defaulting setups... can anyone suggest me ideas to resolve it??
Regards,
Menaka.Dear Menaka,
Here is the approach to Fix the Issue
If you have defined attribute defaulting rules where source type is 'Same Record' and the source attribute is pointing back to itself, then you see this
error. This was proably a rule created erroneously.
To find out if such rules exist, execute the following sql:
select database_object_name, attribute_code
from oe_def_attr_def_rules
where src_type = 'SAME_RECORD'
and src_attribute_code = attribute_code;
If such rules exist, for each attribute - delete the rule, save and re-generate the defaulting package for that attribute from Tools menu on the Rules window.
Perform the following navigation path:
1. Order Management Responsibility
2. Setup\rules\defaulting
3. Place cursor in Application field and press flashlight icon
4. Choose Order Header
5. Select the attribute TAX EXEMPT
6. Choose DEFAULTING RULES button
7. edit\delete from toolbar for the 2 precedence
8. Save
9. Tools\Generate Defaulting Handler Package
10. Navigate back to Sales Order Form

Connection to iStore failure (10,2,1,1)
I am unable to get or browse for content on my PC at present.
I did the Diagnostic tests, connection to internet and itunes fine, could not connect to istore, error code 11222 given for certain operations.
NO FURTHER INFORMATION AVAILABLE as iTunes needs iStore to make the report - so a complete waste of time!
[Not network connection problem iPod touch connects through the same router no problems -- unfortunately the content is not downloading to the touch].It's a check to ensure that you can reinstall iTunes 10.2.1 in 10.6.6, since you can't in 10.6.7. Then, try installing the 10.6.7 COMBO update. If that also breaks iTunes, then if you want to report this issue to Apple's engineering, send a bug report or an enhancement request via its Bug Reporter system. To do this, join the Mac Developer Program—it's free and available for all Mac users and gets you a look at some development software. Since you already have an Apple username/ID, use that. Once a member, go to Apple BugReporter and file your bug report or enhancement request. The nice thing with this procedure is that you get a response and a follow-up number; thus, starting a dialog with engineering.

Purchased entire album. Songs available only with album purchase show completed download with album, but play only a short demo of song (both PC and iPod). This is my first iTunes purchase so I likely missed a step. Is this a user of iStore error? Solution(s)?
If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copies of the dodgy tracks and try redownloading fresh copies. For instructions, see the following document:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
Otherwise, I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the items that are not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the items, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" links next to the items. -
Error in trying for customer setup changes in iStore
Hi,
We were trying to implement a new functionality in istore which is as below
When the user configures a product and Shopping Cart is shown to them, then user presses Place Order button,iStore portal typically asks for the password for the user already logged in once again. If the password is correct it continues with Shipping address etc to place an order.
According to our requirement, instead of asking for the password of user,a list of all the istore users should be displayed and the user should be able to choose one and give the login details for that user and proceed further with this modified user name and addresses and other details specific to this modified user name ,the order also should be generated on modified customer's name.
We tried by modifying the cookies that are set for PartyId,PersonPartyId,AccountId and Account number.
With this it is showing us the Shipping Address list of modified customer but on clicking "Continue checkout"
it is giving the following error message :-
{color:#0000ff}This site is not a valid site for given Ship to Customer Account/Customer Account.{color}
Is there something we are missing to update. Please help
Thank you.Just curious why can't you use Bill To and Ship To account relations rather than giving a list of all users. The idea feels clumsy to me. Sorry.

Have not used Itunes in a while and I cant access Itunes Store with out downloaded new version but I keep getting error message with download. Can I just access the Istore without downloading new version?

Unable to process your transaction error in istore
Hi all,
I am working on istore implementation process in R12.
I had created the new business contact user, and login into the istore using the created contact user login.
I got following error while selecting the item to adding the shopping cart.
Error message is:
Unable to process your transaction. The operating unit is either invalid or it cannot be derived. Please verify your Multi-Org profile options.API_MISSING_ID (COLUMN=ACCT_ROLE). Unable to create a valid contact for the given party id (party_id = 8333)
Also this erroris not the consistent, I got this error while newly created user entered into the istore. After some trying it will work for the same user . But already created old users working fine.
Also i executed the invalid object query, i found some of the ASO objects are invalid.
ASO_BI_QOT_APR_MV - MATERIALIZED VIEW- invalid
ASO_BI_QOT_CUST_MV - MATERIALIZED VIEW- invalid
ASO_BI_QOT_RUL_MV - MATERIALIZED VIEW- invalid
ASO_BI_QOT_SG_MV - MATERIALIZED VIEW- invalid

Launching iStore from jDeveloper gives Application Error
Hi All,
Launching iStore from Jdeveloper gives application error. I am new to this arena. Here is the actual description.
We are on 11.5.9 system however applied the RUP1 of Sales and Marketing for 11.5.10 which inturn gave us the 11.5.10 iStore.
I am using jDeveloper 10g with J2SE 1.4.2_06 as per the instruction. Intially all the test files for db , session worked fine as per the suggestions from oracle Metalink Note# 419887.1 . I could also load the login page initially though upon entering the login details it gets me to the same application error page. After some clearning of cache files and reloading the jdeveloper this time it does not even take me to the login page and gives the application error message.
Here is the acutal message : The application is currently not available or an unexpected error has occured. Please try again later.
If this message persists, please contact the system administrator.
I can login to the UI from the actual server but not sure why it does not work from the jdev. Please guide me and let me know what went wrong. Here is the sample guest log file.

Page cannot be found error in iStore
I am getting page cannot be found on most the iStore pages occasionally. It is kind of annoying. Can any one help me in getting rid of these messages. Are there any parameter that I have to look out for in any of the jserv, etc properties files.
Thanks in advance.

I don't fully understand the question about decode, the pages failing are report pages based on some criteria which sometimes are LOVs.
We use this kind of instructions in the WHERE part of the SQL query:
AND A.ID_BODEGA LIKE :P22_ID_BODEGA
AND A.ID_PRODUCTO LIKE :P22_ID_PRODUCTO
AND A.CANCELADO = :P22_CANCELADO
AND
instr(upper(A.NUMERO_TICKET_SALIDA),upper(nvl(:P22_BUSCADOR,A.NUMERO_TICKET_SALIDA))) > 0 or
instr(upper(D.NOMBRE_CLIENTE),upper(nvl(:P22_BUSCADOR,D.NOMBRE_CLIENTE))) > 0

What does the error code 0x80090318 mean connecting to IStore?
I think the problem was using a WPA2 network rather than a WPA network. When I tried connecting to a WPA network, everything went fine.

Hi All
I am new to jsp. (just started today ).. I have made a change in one existing page to disable one button once it is clicked by user. I just ftp the file back to the server but i am getting an error saying "Application error Contact system administrator ...... "
I did not compile jsp /bounce the server. Can u please suggest what need to be done.
(is compilation and bouncing is required :( sorry if my doubt is very silly )
ThanksBala,
Most probably you need to clear the server cache or compile the JSP pages (depends on your application release) -- Please see (11.5.0/12: Oracle iStore Checkout Error: "500 Internal Server Error OracleJSP" [ID 577510.1]) for details.
Thanks,
Hussein
