Comments: This is the email that I sent to apple support. There reply was that they don't deal with these issues. They refered me here and gave me the support 800 number that I had called before I emailed. The 800 number just refers to the email. Not only is the product not working, but neither is the tec support. Please help! My son's birthday has come and gone at this point. I've got a very disapointed kid on my hands.
I am very upset. We bought a shuffle and card for my 10 yr old birthday, he has been Waiting ALL DAY while I try to get this stupid thing to download a song for him. It has me in some sort of a crazy making loop telling me that my perfectly good US address is not valid!!! It's been valid for over 30 years!!!!! He is crying now. Thanks a lot Apple.
I've tried the exact address listed on my bank statement as it suggests as well as the address listed on our tax bill!!
Also, I don't want to have to have my credit card info in this account, but it wouldn't let me set it up any other way, even though we PRE PAID for this music that he wasn't able to access on his birthday.

My itunes wont work because of DEP closing it. I have tried unistalling my quicktime and unistalling my itunes and reinstalling them but it still wont work. i have followed a couple of discussions but it still wont work. Can someone help me please.

itunes was working fine for me
until one day i decided to upgrade cause it said i should
from then on
now it wont open because it says i need a high version of quicktime. it says i have quicktime 6.5 i and i need 7.0
however
everytime i try to download quicktime 7.0
it still doesnt open

hmm. i think it's something you need to install, so if you don't know you have it, you probably don't have it.
let's try this again, using a QT 7.0.3 standalone installer this time.
first use the QT part of the uninstall instructions given here to get rid of that existing QT you have:

after you do that, download the Windows Installer Cleanup utility and use it to check if you still have an entry for Quicktime. if so, remove it:

then download the standalone QT 7.0.3. save it to your hard drive (we'll run the installation from there rather than online). again, switch off any antivirus and antispyware prior to the install:

reboot after that install. will itunes run properly now?

My iTunes just won't load. All it says is that it cannot work because it was installed by a newer version.

We need more background on your iTunes setup. This ususally happens when yu have used your library with a newer version of iTunes such as using another person's computer.

My ipod touch camera shutter stays closed when i start the camera app. This has been happening for a while but if i reboot the ipod several times then the camera will work. I have rebooted it about 35 times now and the shutter still will not open.

1password wont work because firefox is unsigned code, why?

I can no longer use 1password to log into the myriad of accounts that I connect to using firefox. 1password worked fine until one of the latest automatic updates, and I do not no which one screwed it up. The error is that 1password says firefox is no longer signed code and therefore cannot be trusted. I used firefox and 1password every day until two days ago. Is there a previous version of firefox for mac that is secure? The only reason I use auto update is so I do not miss security fixes.
BTW 1password has no problem with the latest Safari. It is just that I like firefox better...

Particularly for your case:
iCloud
iOS 6 and later: Go to Settings > iCloud.
If you signed out before changing your Apple ID, enter your current Apple ID to sign in. The data from your iCloud account will download to your device.
If you're still signed in with your previous Apple ID:
Scroll down and tap Delete Account. Depending on what iCloud options are turned on, you'll be asked to confirm that you want to delete data from your device. To confirm, tap Delete. (If you're using iOS 7 and have Find My iPhone turned on, you'll be asked to enter the password for your previous Apple ID. Enter the password, then tap Turn Off.) The data will be deleted from your device, but not from iCloud.
