ISU-DM Services

Hi guys,
I'm quite new in SOA.
My company decided to partially outsource the Device Management from ISU, basically only the meters replacement related processes.
This mean [ in brief ], that work orders should be handed over to external partner to make the replacements, and after the works is done, the data should updated back to ISU-DM.
The problem is that,  the external partner is not allow to access SAP systems due to license constraints, so we try to approach a SOA solution.
So I would appreciate if someone of you can show me some Enterprise Services available in the repository for ISU-MD.
Thx in advance!

Dear Codrut,
I'm not aware there is a business object Work Order or Work Order Execution in the SAP Business Suite. What might come closest to it is Service Order or Service Execution Order. The following Enterprise Service Bundles are dealing with these business objects:
- [Customer Service Execution|http://eswiki.sap.com/customerserviceexecution]
- [Service Order Management|http://eswiki.sap.com/serviceordermanagement]
Please follow the links to check out the pages in the ES Wiki. Hope this helps.
Best regards
Volker

  • Dunning in ISU customer service

    Hi ,
can any one tell me how to do the disconnection process with dunning in ISU customer service.it will be useful if u send some documents.
    Thanq

    hi archana
disconnetion process is initiated manually  or  automatic.automatic  through dunninng.
During  dunning  whenevr  a dunning  notice gets printed for a particular  customer a disconnection  document gets generated in  back ground thorugh workflow concepts.so  all isu  related workflows need to be activated. They  are already  activated defaultly  but  its better  u  confirm with ur workflow consultants also.
once the disconnection   document  is generated  thriugh dunning u can see the processing  variant  as DUNN appearing  defaultly in the particular  disconnection  document created.
so  its upto the agent  to  strat the order cretaion  and start the whole process of disconnection
    hope it helped u..

  • Integration of Service order from CRM to ECC

    Hi Experts,
We are working on CRM 7.0.
My requirement is that when user connects to call centre for any complaints(Billing etc) in CRM Interaction centre ,service order need to get triggered in ISU.
    My questions:
    1) What will be the best possible option for registering complaint(Service ticket ,Service order etc) in SAP CRM
    2) How can we triggered service order in ISU when service ticket or service order is generated in CRM by call centre agent
Do we need custom enhancement or Configuration will be enough
    Regards
    Nikhil

    Hi Nikhil
    1. Compaints (CRMC) is best for registering complaints
    2. Use actions to trigger the next document such as a service order.

  • SAP ISU(EpH 4) integration with MDUS using SAP PI 7.0

    Hello Everyone,
As I am newbie to all this, I have been doing R&D to achieve the Integration between our SAP ISU and MDUS. Here is what I have already done.
Establish the link between SAP ECC and SAP PI Server (Ports, RFCs, etc.)URL: Connection Settings between ECC and PI system - Process Integration - SCN Wiki
SFW5: Switched the Utilities Component On
SPRO: Define Advance meter capabilities and Activation Groups
Imported the AMI related components IS-UT 604 to the IR
Defined Landscape, Technical and Business Systems
Here are the challenges I am facing and where I need your help.
How do I configure a scenario (e.g. Remote Disconnect) in PI, I will be very happy for step by step instructions
How do I configure that If I Disconnect the Device in ISU, a service call is generated in ISU which will flow from ECC -> PI Server -> MDUS and how do we test it?
How do I check if the call has reached PI Server? I mean there must be some logging like ABC Application requested for XYZ Service.
Your help is much appreciated. It is much like connecting the pieces yet unknown to me. Feel free to share if there is any guide or handbook available for a sample AMI Integration Scenario.
    Regards,
    Adil Khalil

    Hi Adil,
Firstly download the Enterprise Services for SAP PI  from the service market place, released for the Ehp eg Ehp6 of your back end  ISU system.
    go to the below link
    https://websmp205.sap-ag.de/swdc
Download all the (ES)content related to utilities  XI CONTENT-IS-UT  and load this in your PI system. Once you have these ESR in PI, you will be able to connect your SAP ISU system with the help of a proxy.
    Regards,
    Iqbal

  • EHP4 MDUS interface with IS-U

    Hi,
I have query from a customer who wants to use the EHP4 MDUS Interface for SAP-ISU.
    More info:(http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/ESpackages/AdvancedMeterInfrastructure)
Customer does not want a PI license.
Is it possible to use the MDUS interface without PI or is PI compulsorily required?
Thanks in advance fro your help!
    Regards,
    Shams

    Hi Shams
I am currently working with an ISU customer who also has a MDUS. With PI the integration is amazing. So you should try to convince your customer by saying that he can consume standard ISU Enterprise Services with PI and if required PI can perform lot of enhancement in those ES.
If you want to do without PI, depending on your scenario go for FTP based exchange.
Let me know if you if this helps.

  • FS-CM / SFC / Variant

    Hi,
Please explain if it's possible to exclude the default variant '0' from appearing on the SFC answers list, if a user has selected varaint '1' set of question.
Say, I have question sequence 'XYZ' which has its first set of answers for question 001 as:
    Answer         Variant            Next Question Sequence
    A                   0                   A01
    B                   1                   B01
    C                   2                   C01
Say, I select variant 1 while answering 'XYZ', the option to appear as answers are :
    A                     0               A01
    B                     1                B01
What i need is that variant 0 (the default one) shouldn't be appearing in the answers list?

  • SAP ISU UCES - Utility Customer E-services

    Hi Folks,
We are using CRM IC Webclient and UCES for a SAP ISU and CRM implementation for a utility company. I have following queries to start with.
    1. I understand that UCES works on Java/JSP and can work standalone as well as via EP. Please share documentation as to how to get UCES up and running in both scenarios.
    2. There are certain things which can be done via CRM IC Webclient as well e.g Move-in and Move-out. How would this be different from UCES apart from the fact that it is being created by the customer service agent in the former and by the customer in the later.
    3. Is there a cookbook for development/configuration for UCES ? If so please share.
    Thanks ahead,
    Regards,

  • Service Notification and service order in ISU

    Dear's
I want to know that how to configure Service notification and service order in ISU and in ISU their is any posibility if i put a note with meter reading the notification is auto genrate?
    Witing for your positive responce
    Regards,
    Syed Zahoor Ahmed

Check out [Work Management Help for ISU|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_utilities472/helpdata/en/c6/4dc955eafc11d18a030000e829fbbd/frameset.htm].
Then you can go to your sandbox SPRO and try the configuration.
For note question, I am not sure whether I understand it correctly. If you want to automatically create MR from the note that you put in notification. There is not configuration for that. you need an enhancement.

  • Replicating ISU Installation Facts into CRM Service Contract

    Hi All,
Is the Replicating ISU Installation Facts into CRM Service Contract is standard way of working or we need to use some other approach?
    Cheers,
    Suraj

    Nick:
Installation Facts change in ISU does not correspond to any replication object in CRM.  It is a task performed in a standalone environment.  If you are talking about an integrated CR&B environment, there are several factors that one should consider while changing installation facts.  For example, your client has to decide on which system to be the system of record for Contracts.  If you consider CRM as the s-o-r for Contracts, may be you should advise them to initiate the corresponding CRM process to change installation facts from within CRM.  We consider the configurable attribute on a product in CR&B as corresponding parameter of installation fact.  Hence, you have to recommend a Contract Change which in turn will let you change the configurable attributes on a proudct for a given Contract.  When this changed contract triggers the middleware and MDT, you can handle the installation facts. It is also worth advising your client the new features released by SAP in EhP1 of CRM around building rules on product configuration using BRR+ (in case you are using CRM 7.0 EhP1).

    Hi Fabio,
You can assign below standard date profile
CONT002 Date Profile for Service Contracts
To your transaction type  ISU0 Service Contract ISU
IMG Path  SPRO >CRM> Transactions --> Basic settings
    --> Define Transaction types.

  • Action in a ISU Service Contract

    Hello experts;
As a requirements i had to find a way to automatically renew a contract when the contract owner didn't react before 30 days in advance the contract planned end date. To accomplish that i created an action on Item level that triggers a Badi which gets the job done. So far so good. I just have an issue...How do i update the already existing contracts? My customizing works on new contracts: the contract is created the action is immediately scheduled and a job either runs or not the action according to the fulfilling of the starting condition. But how do i schedule the very same action on already existing contracts?
I hope i made myself clear
Thank you in advance for the answers.

In my previous project we have derived like this:
it was identified for the automated identifying of customer CRM Contracts up for renewal and the generation of a list of customers due for contract renewal.
The running of this enhancement would be on an add hoc on demand basis as required by the business.
The primary purpose of this development is to identify the CRM market contracts that are up for renewal based on certain criteria defined and Re-Contract those Contract items on the date of expiry, unless the business has specified otherwise.
Using the CRM Contracts that are due to expire Campaign Activities would need to be created of type u201CRe-Contractingu201D for each CRM Contract that is due to expire. This would allow the business to monitor these campaign activities and use them as a base for correspondence with the customer. Also these campaign activities could be used for reporting purposes.
The scope of this development would be divided into 2 programs:
    Program 1
Program to identify the CRM Market Contracts that are up for renewal.
    Program 2
From the list of CRM Market contracts identified in Program 1, recontract all contracts automatically on the date of Contract expiry. IE this program would run in batch on a daily basis to recontract CRM Contracts that are due to expire on the date of expiry.
This program would be run on an add hoc on demand basis as required by the business. The selection screen would specify the following input criteria:
u2022     Planned Contract End : From Date
u2022     Planned Contract End : To Date
    u2022     State
    u2022     Business Partner Type
In addition, the screen will have the following field that should be input by the user. Note that this campaign ID and Campaign Element ID entered will be the manually created campaign record in CRM for assignment to the resulting activity record and is not a selection criteria.
    u2022     Campaign ID
    u2022     Campaign Element ID
This program would be run as required by the business for selecting CRM Contract records that are due to expire. The u201CFrom Dateu201D and u201CTo Dateu201D specify the Expiry date range that the business wishes to extract CRM Contract records, the date criteria could also point to a time period in the past. It is a requirement that the Campaign and Campaign Element required for Re-Contracting be already created before this program is executed. The Campaign created by the relevant team would be used here upon execution of this program.
Program 1 should be called by a Z transaction code u2013  This transaction should be restricted to users through SAP security profiles.
    Regards,
    Siva

We have an ISU ECC 6.0  Ehp 4and CRM 7.0 sp3 system.
I am trying to set up the replication of Business Partner Relationships.
I am using the cookbook avbl in Service Marketplace.
I have a couple of questions.
    1. The cookbook says something about Business Partner Contact Persons (in table KNVK) as not being a part of the replication. When I create a contact person for my ISU Business Partner the relationship (Contact Person BUR001) gets created in the BUT050 table. So, what exactly is the document trying to say about Business Partner Contact Persons (in table KNVK) ?
So, anyways I did all the configuration.
    a. Checked the internal number ranges that the relationships will use and made sure everything is good.
    b. I added the entries to the COM_BUPA_CALL_FU table in ISU. Deleted the other entries in the table as mentioned.
    c. Added the entries in the CRMC_BUT_CALL_FU CRM tables as mentioned.
    d. I ran into some transport issues here and hence had to delete entries from CRMC_BUT_CALL_FU CRM tables for BP Relation type and reenter them from an excel back up.
When I try replicating a Contact Personfrom ISU to CRM I can see the relationship data in CRM middlewarein the SMW01 queue with the status being processed. But there is no relationship in CRM. I can't see it. Here are the entires I have in the CRMC_BUT_CALL_FU CRM. Am I missing any entry I should need to make the relationship get created in CRM from ISU?

    Pradhip:
I am not sure about that line - but contact persons are replicable with the correct middleware configuration.
    regards,
    bill.
