Isync for Nokia N97?

I am looking for a isync plugin for Nokia N97. Does anyone know if it will be available soon or if there is a work around to get it working?

What you've been told by Nokia is incorrect.
Yes, iSync is Apple's software, but it is Nokia who has been creating iSync plugins for their phones for the past 18 months or so.
They even provide them from their own support web-site here:
http://www.nokia.com/isync
Apple have not added any new phones to iSync since Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard was released in October 2007 - they are leaving that task to the phone manufacturers and third-party developers.

The latest update was on June or July last year v30.0.004

How to get money back for Nokia n97?

Hi Guys!
I gave up with Nokia N97!!! I have a lot of problems with it. All of them are known. While this 2,5 months of using the device I was so **bleep** off and felt very uncomfortable while using it! Is that what we paid $700 for?? To see how good it is in the official video commercial and how damn SLOW, buggy and how bad the hardware is? I waited for software update and was hoping to see nice and fast device, oh! and working GPS! Instead - it's still the same "smart" which is most worse on nokia market. That's enough!
So now I have this question: How to get money back for Nokia n97 after 2,5 months of usage? or maybe exchange to n900? I will call to customer care center soon but maybe someone of you have done this already and you can give some tips?

put it up for sale, you have used it for over 30 days nokia will not give you a refund. sell it and buy yourself another device in this case. im giving mine away to a friend. he likes the n97 so its a win win

Apple makes it own phones now. It is Nokia's responsibility to provide software to support its phones.

PETITION FOR WINDOWS LIVE MESSENGER FOR NOKIA N97 ...

I and we have been waiting for the Windows Live Messenger to be released for Nokia 5800 and N97 for ages now. I cannot understand why has other Nokia models has it not those models apart from China which have it for Nokia 5800 and N97. What is going on Nokia? Is there a way to restrict Nokia N97 mini with parental controls to download unsafe applications (18+ apps)? I just want to restrict my son from downloading such apps? Thanks.

Whay don't you just press the button Power from the top of the phone and go there and select "Lock phone" (you must know the security code of the phone) and every time someone is triing to acces your phone it will ask for the lock phone.Is very simple and you dont have to install anithing

I really do not understand why Nokia N96 has the DSTV mobile and the Nokia N97 does not have then why is it superior to the N96????? is there anyway it can be downloaded to the mobile?? You can download it over the net somewhere but it will not work. As I already said, the N97 does not have the antenna receiver for it. Its like turning on a TV set when there is no cable or antenna connected to it. Although you can buy a separate receiver which you can connect to your phone.

Your n97 already supports Flash lite, You can watch videos from you tube and so, with default browser.
Also you can download you tube app from their website to watch videos.
And you can't install Flash 9,

Apologies if I misunderstand...
Is your Modem/wLAN actually a modem/router box? If so, what model?
The PPPoE is usually looked after by the router box itself, it then provides you with standard TCP/IP (over Ethernet of Wifi). It's the TCP/IP that conveys internet traffic. Are you already able to connect wirelessly by a laptop for example?
Referring to the username and password you mention, do you mean your ADSL connection credentials? They're provided by your ISP and there is no way round that, but they should (likely) be set in your router already.
For other devices to connect to your existing internet connection then the devices in question don't need to know about usernames and passwords, just your Wifi settings (SSID broadcast name, security type and security WEP/WPA code).
If I can assist on any of these points in more detail then please ask, I hope I haven't completely misunderstood your original question!

Msn Messenger for Nokia n97

Yes, MSN messenger has been removed already from the Ovi store for some reason. What you can do though is to search from non-nokia website for MSN application that is compatible with Symbian Operating System version 5.0. I was able to find one in the past but I forgot where I was able to download it.

I have tried googleing it but all the one's i have downloaded, once installed say that the App is not compatibale with my handset.

It works just like the file manager does on a computer so you are free to delete any unprotected files to free up space.
Don't forget to go into the settings in x-plore and enable the ability to show hidden files and folders. Also think before you delete as once things are gone they cannot be recovered.
Some files are still hidden away even to x-plore as the OS considers these to be protected. Using x-plore when i was on v12 I was able to get my phone memory back to 40-45mb. This was deleting everything that I felt was safe to do so and could access.
After v20 and a hard reset my memory jumped up to 60mb.

Once I was a satisfied customer and this is my 12th Nokia deivice. The expensivest is the N97. But it's the device with the worst service. It will be my last Nokia and maybe I should better switch to Apple'S iPhone.
