ISync to nokia asha 503: is there a plug-in to enable this?

I have recently bought a new Nokia Asha 503 phone, and when I got it home, tried to sync it to my Mac. iSync tells me "this device is not supported". Is there a plug-in I can install, or should I carry on entering contacts onto the phone by hand?

Depending on your region, you can try checking the Store if Yahoo Messenger is available for download on your Asha 503. There are also other chat and social applications that have Yahoo Messnger client. Here's an example: NimBuzz

Nokia asha 503 mms problems.

Hi, I've recently bought a nokia asha 503 but I can't send/recieve pictures. I have phoned my provider numerous times but they don't know how to activate it or get it working. All the usual things have been tried, I even got a new replacement phone but I still can't do anything with pictures. Anyone else had the same problems??

i had my fone exchanged from nokia 206 to nokia asha 503 as the prev did noit support wi-fi as i was told in the shop. Since i got the asha a week ago ive been to the shop 5 times as cannot send or receive mms. The 5 guys in ths shop were unable to help so contacted o2 online ...who advised them to 'google' the problem as they could not fix it. I went back to store today to be told that is is a software issue...the 503 usues old software and they dont know when it will be updated. I asked for an exchange ...as i mainly use my fone for wi-fi and mms and was told no way as i have already swapped it from the 206. As i explained that was down to the salesman who told me it had wi-fi!!!! They refused today to exchange for a different fone which supports mms this is not my problem as a customer the fact that i was sold a first fone which did not do what they said it did...now a second fone which again does not do what it says. I was told because there is noi fault with this fone i have to kkep it!!! OR download 'Whats -app' to send and receive mms. Againb i told them the fone would not let me download this app, but they were not concerned at all. If that was not all i then see a poster reducing the nokia asha from 69.99 (which i paid last week) to 49.99. The tech guy in the shop Nick Jane told me i had no choice but to keep this fone and just put up with it!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If this is not sorted i am taking it to Trading Standards.

When I did the last few times all the whatsapp data is gone nothing could be seen, no history.
Is this a virus, trojan, malware, that ware this ware what ware, whatever is it official and how do I do a safe upgrade.
An ofcourse my Nokia Asha 503 is a by large very poor performer in terms of net, fb, whatsapp.
Any help is appreaciated.

What happens if you go to www.whatsapp.com/s40 with your phone's browser? Does it still tell you to upgrade after you download and install the latest version?

Marathi/Hindi font in Nokia Asha 503

Yesterday I bought Nokia Asha 503 and updated phone to latest software update by Nokia.
It doesn't support Marathi/Hindi font. Can somebody please help me here?

The language pack made available on a Nokia phone is market and country dependent. The Marathi/Hindi language is only available on Nokia phones intended for countries where the language is mainly used so it should be available in your device if it was originally purchased in India.
BTW, before updating it to the latest software, are you able to see Marathi/Hindi font?

Hi, johny11. Can we have the exact certificate error you're getting? Is the app from the Nokia Store? Can you set your phone's date & time settings to 1 year ago & download the app? To customize your settings, go to Settings > Time and date. Once you have successfully downloaded the WhatsApp, configure your date & time settings into the correct one. Nokia Asha 503 Language pack

I bought this phone for my mom and would need to set it to Hungarian. Unfortunately as it was purchased in the UK it's missing from the list. Someone on an online forum stated that Nokia would be able to install/flash (whatever) a different language pack for fee, however I just got off the Live Chat with an agent and he said they can't do it.
Do you guys have any ideas how could I do this?

Everything is tied to the 7-letter code (product code) on the label of your phone. That determines the firmware-variant you have. The firmware-variant determines the set of languages you get. Officially, only Nokia Care Centres are allowed to change that product code, officially. I guess, the much easier solution is to sell that device and go for a Nokia Lumia 520 or Nokia Lumia 620. because they run Windows Phone, they allow all languages to be downloaded afterwards.
