It appears that FF3.6.10 is having problems with Silverlight on NetFlix. Can anyone confirm that they are unable to play movies?

I'm having problems streaming movies from Netflix so I called them. They told me if I was dissatisfied, I could cancel my service with them. I guess this is their new customer service policy.

Alright, so a few weeks ago I bought a Wacom Bamboo Capture tablet, and it comes with a copy of Adobe Photoshop Elements 8.0
Now, I installed it previously and it worked perfectly.
Then, all of a sudden, I go to boot it up, and I'm asked for my serial... AGAIN.
Also, it's giving me the whole 'Not valid' error.
It's irritating the hell out of me.

Aeverin I would start with removing Photoshop Elements and then reinstalling it. Also which operating system are you using? Do you have any other Adobe software installed?

I have been having problems with my speaker. After the recent update I am unable to listen to movies or music using my speaker. The volume bar is completely missing. If I plug a headset into the port, the volume bar reappears.

Our home network has multiple devices connected by iCloud. Having problem with Calendar. On one iMac, all the events are duplicated. How can I correct that problem? Under the Calendar accounts, I had my Apple id listed and also just iCloud.

Our home network has multiple devices connected by iCloud: 2 iMacs, 2 iPhone 4s, 1 MacPro Laptop, and 1 iPad 2. When using Calendar, all the events were
duplicated on my husbands iMac. On his computer, under Calendar accounts, I had included iCloud and also my iCloud ID. I thought that because I had two accounts listed that were connected to iCloud, that might be the cause of the duplication. When I deleted ithe calendars from one of the accounts, it resulted
in deleting all of the events on all of our network devices!
I have since entered some new events into Calendar from my iMac and from my iPhone. These appear correctly on all devices except my husband's iMac where they are again all duplicated.
I have two questions: 1) How can I eliminate the duplicated events on my husband's computer and 2) How do I retrieve the old wiped out Calendar events from
Time Capsule. I don't know how to find Calendar in the Time Capsule. If I find the Calendar information in Time Capsule, how do I transfer it to my current Calendars?
I was obtaining phone help from one of the Apple techs at Apple Support, but our call was disconnected part way through. Didn't know how to reconnect with the tech.

I used the contacts feature all the time when I had a microsoft system. Now, I can't do that with Outlook for the Mac. Does anyone have any alternative Apps that they've used for Business contacts? thank you both for your responses. I'm having trouble mostly with a way to handle my business contacts. I'm self employed and when I had Outlook for Microst(before I switched to Apple)I was so pleased with this softward. Esp the way it would keep track of any correspondense between me and my customer. I could also track billing thru Outlook contacts.
Now, I get my mail thru outllook and use ical and @contacts. I see that I can have a separate group of contacts thru @contacts, but, it's not the same or nearly as good as Outlook contacts for Microsoft.
So, right now I'm really disapointed with my Mac purchase and hoping to find an app that will help. I will investigate Thunderbird.

I noticed that after I linked Facebook to my iphone, I had tons of new entries in my Contacts. I found a way to turn that feature off. Perhaps that's your problem with randoms joining in on your convos.
Yep, follow the instructions listed by the guy above me. I also did this: Settings ---> Facebook ---> Contacts: Off (allow these apps to use ur account). That cleared out all my Facebook friend phone numbers from my Contact list on my phone. Hope this helps. Updating an os should not require oodles of work on our end.

I am having problem with iphone 4s, I can not make calls or send text message? Please help.

The problem is presistant. I tried to send the text message but it does not leave the phone, it is only delivered after I turn the phone off and then turn it on again. Only then it gets delivered and even that is only for that moment.
Secondly, I can not send or recieve the calls as well.
Thirdly, after I make a call, the calling screen gets stuck and I can not talk to the current caller or dial to another caller.
Note: I have 'Not" dropped my iphone any where uptil now and I keep it in a pouch to protect it. The problem started recently and before that it worked fine. The problem started when I turned off the phone and after an hour or 2, I turned it on again.
The signals of the service provider is coming perfectly. I haven't found any problem with there service yet.

Network unavailable means the phone is detecting and using the SIM, else you would get a NO SIM error.
It means that Sprint does not exist in the Ukraine (obvious), and Sprint does not have any interconnection agreement with a local carrier. Hence, the phone can't talk to anyone, carrier-wise. You need to get a SIM from a local carrier and try again. If it works, you're all set and the phone is indeed unlocked. Else you have been conned and will need to go and complain with whomever sold it to you.

Open Keychain Access in Utilities, use Keychain First Aid under the Keychain Menu item, then either check the Password under that item, change it, or delete it and start over. See if there are duplicates, should be one for Incoming & one for Outgoing.

between the plugin-containers and executable, firefox has become a monster, starting to hog resrouces? takes forever to load photoshop now......and after a period of non-use, the machine seems to be quite a bit slower.....

Since Pixel Check doesn't show it as "stuck" or dead, it must be some sort of software issue, right?
I mean, it seems to respond properly to that program telling each sub-pixel to turn on and off...
Also, it appears in a DVD window under most circumstances (not just black) but seems to dim as I increase the size of the window...

HT4858 Is anyone else having problems with shared photo stream URLs not updating after photos are added or deleted from a shared photo stream?

I have made quite a few shared photo streams and love the idea of sharing easily with a variety of friends and family. The problem in having is that any modifications made to the shared photostream (adding/deleting pictures) are not updated in the URL I have sent to my family and friends. Is anyone else experiencing this? Does anyone have any ideas or solutions?

Disable Photo Stream in the System/iCloud preference pane
and in iPhoto's Photo Share preference pane.
Reboot and reenable both respectively. That should jump start Photo Stream on your Mac.

HT1391 about 30 out of 80 songs that I purchased play on the computer the 80,the orignal file can not be found so they are unable to play

I purchased about 80 songs from i tunes eveything was working great,then all of a sudden about 50 of the purchased songs would not play ,a box came up stating that the orignal can not be found and if I wanted to search for it.What do I do now ?

If only some of the songs on an album are giving you the authorisation message, that suggests those song files are damaged.
If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copies of the dodgy tracks and try redownloading fresh copies. For instructions, see the following document:

To clear cache and cookies do the following:
#Go to Firefox > History > Clear recent history or (if no Firefox button is shown) go to Tools > Clear recent history.
#Under "Time range to clear", select "Everything".
#Now, click the arrow next to Details to toggle the Details list active.
#From the details list, check ''Cache'' and ''Cookies'' and uncheck everything else.
#Now click the ''Clear now'' button.
