that works with UIAPI.
you open all windows with your addon and click everything you need.
ok, you will see some minutes "windows opening and closing and data selecting"
but at least it works

This is not possible with formated searches.
With SDK, depends on if it is Matrix or Grid, on if it is a system form/your own form. But basically, loop throw the form or datasource, and do the sumatory.

Can't connect client with sdk 1.4 to glassfish 2.1 ejb

I have an EJB2 in Glassfish 2.1 correctly configured, my client is a vendor standalone app that uses jdk1.4 and I can not use appserv-rt because of a problem of incompatibility, I can only use an rt.jar library included in the app and maybe another library but not appserv-rt.
when I run my client I can't cast the object returned from the EJB so I obtain a NULL as a result of the cast

Sometime I get the same problem, you don't use jboss: but jboss ist capable of so-called "class isolation".
Without using correct jar I have no idea to deal with this class loading issue ...

International Characters with Netmail

Hi all,
I'm using Sun One portal server 6. I have set the platform charset to Iso-8859-7 so that every portal page displays greek characters correctly.
My only problem is with NetMail. When I get mail I can see greek characters correctly with NetMail Lite. However when I'm sending email using NetMail Lite if I write Greek characters they turn to question marks when I read the email with any client (Netmail Lite, Outlook express etc).

Can I set up a Web server for my internal network with iWeb.

I'd like to set up a web page that is only accessible from my internal network and hosted on one of my macs. I'd like to host home movies in quicktime format that I can stream to my iPhone and iPod Touch. Can I do this with iWeb? Do I need additional software to serve the site off of my mac? I would also like to set up passwords on a sub-page that will contain PG-13 and R rated movies - is this possible as well?

Put the iWeb pages (or any webpage) in the root folder of your personal webserver or in the webfolder of your Home directory.

Can not start up with internal HD after 10.9.4 update

After installing 10.9.4 update, can no longer startup from internal HD on late 2012 iMac, 2.9 ghz, 8 gb ram, 1 TB internal
Used Disk Utility to starup from external 10.9.3 drive and that works fine.
Loaded the manual 10.9.4 update onto external, and tried updating the 10.9.4 internal. No luck.
Attempting internal startup with 10.9.4 results in black screen, followed by several seconds of lit screen and spinning icon, then back to black screen.
After starting up on 10.9.3 external, 10.9.4 internal shows mounted, files appear fine, and can copy back and forth. Just can't start with that drive, and can't risk updating external 10.9.3 to 10.9.4 until I find out and fix the problem.

I had the same issue with my 2008 iMac and Apple support walked me through the fix yesterday...
1. Shut the computer down by holding the power button for 10 seconds
2. Restart the computer and press shift at the same time until you see the progress bar start moving
3. Once you reach the point where your screen goes dark and you see the cursor, type the first letter of the username for your computer, then hit Enter, then type your password, then hit Enter.
4. After a moment, you should see the spinning beach ball
5. Your screen should then move on to something along the lines of "Completing OSX Installation" (I can't remember the exact wording). Let it finish. After that it should go to your normal desktop and the issue should be fixed. (If your screen goes pitch black during this process, hit the space bar. I thought it wasn't working, but the screen was just sleeping).
Apparently it's an issue with an automatic update that never quite got past the login screen.
If the above doesn't help, then move on to these:
Try these in order testing your system after each to see if it's back to normal:
1. a. Resetting your Mac's PRAM and NVRAM
    b. Intel-based Macs: Resetting the System Management Controller (SMC)
2. Restart the computer in Safe Mode, then restart again, normally. If this doesn't help, then:
     Boot to the Recovery HD: Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the
     COMMAND and R keys until the Utilities menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the
     computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager
     screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
3. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions: Upon startup select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions as follows.
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the main menu. Select Restart from the Apple menu.
     Reinstall the 10.9.4 update: OS X Mavericks 10.9.4 Update (Combo).
4. Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion, Mavericks: Reboot from the Recovery HD. Select Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion, Mavericks from the Utilities menu, and click on the Continue button.
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible because it is three times faster than wireless.
     Reinstall the 10.9.4 update: OS X Mavericks 10.9.4 Update (Combo).

You can "use the LabVIEW Microprocessor SDK to port LabVIEW to any 32-bit microprocessor" (to quote from the first sentence of the Microprocessor SDK help file). There's good and bad news with this LabVIEW module though. Good news - if you have the module, you can integrate just about any toolchain (3rd party compiler) into LabVIEW. Bad news - the module doesn't work with anything out of the box. This is one of the reasons that if you don't have the module already, you might find it very hard to purchase it from NI now. It can be a bit cumbersome to setup.
If you call NI now asking to target any 32-bit microcontroller, we're going to encourage you to use the LabVIEW for ARM module or the LabVIEW C Generator. If your chipset is supported by the LabVIEW for ARM module, I would recommend that you go this route. A list of supported chipsets is here (as chipsets compatible with LabVIEW for ARM need to support the "RL-ARM Real-Time Library").

With Boot Camp, you must install Windows onto in internal HDD (or SSD). If you are referring that your internal Optical drive is broken, you might be able to install Windows from an external drive, but you might not. I have heard varying levels of success with that. I'm not sure what the official stance is, but I do know that if youe machine shipped with an internal optical drive, then you must use that to install Windows using Boot Camp and not swap it out for a "data doubler" and try to install from an external optical drive.

There is an international warranty on the Mac, but not on the iPhone...iPhone warranties are tied to the country of purchase. Iphone 5s are currently only available in the US tied to a carrier, you cannot use another nano-sim card in them.

Unable to record internal audio with RecordMyDesktop

In order to record sound and video from my desktop, I installed RecordMyDesktop (https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/RecordMyDesktop) and followed the instructions from post #4 and #6 on a thread about "Recording internal audio with alsa and recordmydesktop" (https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php … 3#p1359593). When I try to record with "recordmydesktop --device looprec", it will not start recording and closes with the following error:

I can record from the microphone with with the command "recordmydesktop". I succeeded in recording the internal audio with audacity by choosing the device "looprec" for recordings. I'm not sure why RecordMyDesktop gives an error while Audacity does not. Below is my ~/.asoundrc, which I copied from the aforementioned thread. I am not knowledgeable, but I guess there is a mistake in it? Would you please assist me solving this error? Thank you for your time.

How can I use LCCS with ActionScript 3 and Flash CS4?

Hi,
Using Stratus I was able to create an an application using Action Script 3 and Flash CS4. The sample code on the Adobe site was quite straight forward and easy to understand. I now want to switch over to LCCS but can't find anything any where on how to use Action Script 3 and Flash CS4 with LCCS. Do I need to know Flex to be able to use LCCS? Everything was quite simple and easy to understand with Stratus and makes complete sense. But LCCS is really confusing. Is there any sample code on how to establish a connection in Action Script 3 and then stream from a webcam to a client. There is nothing in the LCCS SDK that covers Flash and Action Script 3. Please help! I found the link below on some forum but it takes me nowhere.

Please refer to the SDK's sampleApps folder. There would be an app called FlashUserList. The app demonstrates how LCCS can be used with Flash CS4. Its a pretty basic app, but should help you moving.
