It has slowed everything down without any add ons, how do i fix it?
As soon as i downloaded firefox 4 it slowed everything down, i don`t have any add ons, it doesn`t remember all my security settings like passwords or even my name?
I have to keep writing everything in all the time wherever i go or whatever i do.
I`m paying for broadband but i`m not getting it`s speed, it`s very annoying and frustrating when firefox 4 says it`s faster and safer, not on my laptop it`s not?
It will complete almost everything eventually, but it`s painfully slow?
I`ve only got 10meg speed but it`s taking between 1 and 5 minutes to do anything?
I`m only using my laptop for normal stuff like gmail email, eBay, banking, etc.
I don`t use it for games or facebook or porn or anything like that, just basic stuff?
It`s slow all the time for everything?

Is this a POP (POP3) email account? If so, you MacBook Pro may be retrieving the email and deleting it off the server before your phone can. Another possibility is that both your Mac and your phone are trying to retrieving it at the same time, and the POP server, which will only allow a single email client connection at a time, is locking out your phone resulting in the "has not been downloaded from the server" error.

My new Ipad 3 cannot connect to WIFI even it has a full bar of reception. In the same location, my Windows 7 PC and Andorid Smart phone can connect to the same WIFI without any issues. How can I fix it? Without WIFI, the WIFI only IPAD is nearly useless. If it cannot be fixed, can I get a replacement for IPad 2?
Take it to an Apple Store for evaluation. If defective, you'll get a replacement.

Additional things to try.
Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.

Why has my Firefox become so slow, even though I don't have any add-ons?
The settings tell me that I don't even have any add-ons installed. But FIrefox is still very slow, especially on those bigger sites.

The Java Deployment Toolkit plugin (also called Java DT) is a specialized plugin designed for web developers and network administrators and is not related to your general usage of Java (and is not required to be running to enable Java content in the browser.) It's "highly unlikely" this is the source of your browser slowdown. Oracle likes to "bundle" this plugin with Java SE for unknown reasons. Mozilla still considers Java DT to be vulnerable, and has considered it to be vulnerable for a long time...that's why you see this message (and probably will continue seeing it, unless you delete the plugin.) You can delete this plugin from the list of firefox plugins, but it will probably come back when you update Java. Sounds like you could benefit from disabling all Java content in the browser. How that is accomplished is explained in the above thread. -
Laptop shuts down without any warning
My laptop is shutting down without any warning. It has done so twice. When I run the preboot diagnostic, everything is fine. When I run Dell Support Assist app, this is the error message that I got from the System History:

*)Also as you mentioned that with the preboot diagnostic the system passed all the test so the system's hardware is working fine.

Need more details. Which iMac? Which OS? When does it shut down, under what circumstances? What are you doing when it happens? Is it reproducible, i.e. can you make it happen? Does it appear to be getting very hot before it shuts down?
Open Console in Applications>Utilities and navigate to system.log. Do you see any messages related to shutdown from the time when this has happened? Enter "shutdown" in the filter field, upper right corner. -

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:

Note the date and time the problem occurred, then go to Applications/Utilities/Console and copy the log starting at the time of the crash. Paste the log in a reply. Please do not use a screen shot as they can be hard to read. If there are repeated runs of the same messages, please post only one run. Be selective about what you post and don’t post huge amounts. If I understand correctly, the phone seems to think the phones volume up is constantly being pressedbut the button still clicks when you press it. This should be easy to isolate to hardware or software, so I would start by quitting all the apps that are running on the phone:
iOS: Force an app to close
Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app up to close it.
When you have done that reset the device and test the issue again:

Recently I have noticed that my Macbook shuts down without any warning when the battery is out of power. Previously i used to get a warning when about 9-10 mins of power was left.
I have all the updates installed. Also I have not installed any new hardware.
Is there any settings in the System Preferences. What should I do to correct this situation.

My Time Capsule has been backing up without any problems and all of a sudden it stops reading on my computer. The external hard drive beeps three times and the motter wont run within. The light that usually blinks while in use is no longer blinking and is on constant. What happened?

Sorry we are unclear as to the external hard drive and its connection to the TC..
For instance the light that blinks.. is that the TC or external hard disk or what.
Did you try just rebooting / restart the whole network in correct order.. modem.. router / TC.. external drive.. clients with 2min gap between each.
Are you actually running Snow Leopard as the profile states?
How old is the TC? -
I have recently purchased a used iPhone 4, when I pulg it into my pc a skull icon appears instead of the apple. The pc also does not recognise the iPhone. The phone was originally purchased in March of this year, so it is under 12 months old. Has anybody encountered this problem and or know how I can fix the phone? Thanks
You have apparently purchased a jailbroken phone. You can try to get it into recovery mode, then restore as new, but no guarantee it will work.

FF29 fails to load Session Manager, old tabs, any add-ons, Cool Preview, etc after forced upgrade on an XP system. Connecting to sites, especially support.mozilla.org requires numerous retries. Clicking Add0on shows none of the previous working ones. They are gone. No Session Manager at all. Even reporting this has taken over 3 hours. Yesterday, everything worked fine before the restart to 29. What can be done to recover settings from 2-3 days ago? Thanks for keeping it simple!

The crash reports from your troubleshooting information is caused by a hang in the Flash plug in version 13. I understand however that this is an issue with the history.

I keep updating my firefox whenever it prompts me to, and now I am using version 3.6.12, but I still cannot download any add-ons or have problem using youtube cause they still says I am using a older version of the browser.

You can check the general.useragent prefs on the about:config page:

You can uninstall (remove) the Java Console extensions and disable the Java Quick Starter extension, you do not need them to run Java applets.
