I Have Iphon 3 and I have hade some problems with code, duriring reseting I have lost all photos and telephone numres, so dase egzist any solution to return the photos an telephone numbers?

You should have a back up on your PC or where ever you sync your phone. Just plug your phone in and say restore from a backup, pick one of the times you backed up your phone (hopefully recently) and everything should be put back on from the day you synced it. Good luck!

Hi, during my stay in Las Vegas I had uploaded hundreds of photos and hours of video to my Mac at night each day. I have plenty of storage left, and had no problem viewing them before I had left. Once I returned to Canada and attempted to look at them, they are nowhere to be found. I have a Mac Pro OS X, with iPhoto 9.4.1. I haven't had a problem with the camera before either. Please help!? It's not like my friend can turn 21 again. Thanks.

The iPhone does not have user serviceable parts. There is no where to buy genuine Apple parts, and once you open the phone, you forfeit any warranty or post-warranty support, as well as help from the forum. Try Google.

leave the phone in rice for >24 hours to see if it will recover
you can check itunes as well to see if there are backups there from the top of the screen hit edit (itunes on mac) > preferences > devices , and see if a backup is listed
also check icloud.com to see if you had any of the information backed up there (only possible if have have a 3gs or higher)
also there are data recovery companies that can recover data even from wrecked hard drives but its not cheap, if your interested in that I would say lookup a company called drivesavers, I believe they are authorized to work on even in warranty iphones

Lync client gets user photos by first querying the Address Book Web Query (ABWQ) service on the server, which is exposed through the Distribution List Expansion web service. The client receives
the image file and then copies it to the user's cache to avoid downloading the image each time it needs to be displayed. The attribute values returned from the query are also stored in the cached Address Book Service entry for the user. The Address Book Service
deletes all cached images every 24 hours, which means that it can take up to 24 hours for new user images to be updated in the cache on the server.
To troubleshoot your problem, please follow the steps below:
1. Navigate to
“X:\share\1-WebServices-1\ABfiles\000000000\000000000” folder. (ABS file share)
You should see some photo files in this folder as the following screenshot.
2. Delete all the files in this folder.
3. On test PC, delete local cache files.

4. Sign-in Lync with the test account.
5. Go back to the ABS file share, check if there is any Photo file in the folder.

I have a photo with 25 faces. I have named 17 with no problem but the remaining 8 names I am unable to make them stick. I go through the process (have done it thousands of times) and no luck. I have shut down the computer, I have unplugged it, I have turned iPhoto off and nothing will allow me to name these remaining photos. I type in the name and click RETURN and the name holds, I close the photo and bring it back and the name is gone. I have done this dozen of times - still no luck. I have a few other photos of groups and the same thing is happening with just a few of the faces. All the faces are clear, same size and no different in clarity than the other faces. I have tried changing the size of the "box" around the photo to name it - still no luck.
I am on the ground floor so I can not throw the computer out the window.

Im wondering why my post hasn't been answered yet. I did file a report with the BBB and I had a rude representative from Verizon call me named Steve. He said I can file all of the reports I want and I will just keep getting calls from him. I can understand why my phone couldn't be replaced because of the small crack. I guess I have to eat that one (but it sucks because the lollipop update is what caused the problems) but what about all of the data overage I had to pay for for trying to fix this phone because of a lollipop update. I dont think it is fair to have to pay that as well. In addition, because I have an east coast phone number but live on the west coast, I cannot have tech support after 8pm. Verizon has cut this off. Be careful, when you connect the iPhone to your mac, unless you have saved the photos. Synced photos may easily be accidentally deleted by syncing again. And do not enable iCloud Photo Library (Beta), that will erase synced photos as well. Synced Photos are not included in the device backups.
Set your iTunes Preferences to "Devices > Prevent iPos, iPhones, iPads from syncing automatically". Otherwise iTunes may launch and sync your iPhone with an empty iPhoto library the moment you connect it.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to sync the synced photos back. Apple recommends to mail them back, but that would be a lot of clicking (iTunes: Syncing photos - Apple Support). You could also share them to a Shared Album, but a third party app like TD recommended, will be better.

No, there are no gurantees. The capabilitty exists to retrive deleted data from an iPhone, but like many things in life it is not 100% successful all the time. Be careful, there are a lot of scam artists out there. They take your money & retrive nothing. This guy is one of the best in the business, but he does not work for people in the private sector. Perhaps he can recommend a service to you. But, as already pointed out, you're looking at thousands of dollars out of pocket whether these folks are successful or not:

how do i save a calender i have created in photoshop with the photo and the dates saved as two separate pages? when i save as pdf or jpeg they are authomatically saving 1 pg with the photo and dates on one page. This is causing problems when i print.

Hi there, in case your printer cannot print very large, you can also crop down two versions and print them as separate documents.
1) Create a guide where you would like to split the pages by clicking on the ruler (hit command R if they are not showing) and dragging to the desired area.
Creating the guide will make it so you can be precise in the way you split up your page, and so that no part of the image will be repeated or lost.
2) Select the Crop Tool and fit the crop area to the top half of your calendar, using the guide you've just made to snap to the right spot. Hit return to finalize the crop.
3) Go to File > Save As. Name the file something like calendar_top and select the desired file format. Hit "Save."
4) Once you get back to your calendar file, Go to the History panel and select "Drag Guide." This will take you back to the step before you cropped the image.
5) Repeat the steps as before for the bottom half of the calendar, once again using the guide to help you make your crop area.
So then you would just print each of the two pages individually. The images will not be contained within one document, but if you have Acrobat you could combine the files.

Those photos that were used in both books came out fuzzy in the second one when they were fine in the first one. Why could this be and can it be rectified?

Did you use different versions of the photos or different sizes? Have you now used a different iPhoto version? The book templates changed between the versions.
Compare the printed book to the PDF preview of your book. The printed book should look exactly as the preview, see: iPhoto, Aperture: Previewing an order in iPhoto or Aperture

Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Repair Database. If that doesn't help, then try again, this time using Rebuild Database.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. (In Library Manager it's the FIle -> Rebuild command)
This will create an entirely new library. It will then copy (or try to) your photos and all the associated metadata and versions to this new Library, and arrange it as close as it can to what you had in the damaged Library. It does this based on information it finds in the iPhoto sharing mechanism - but that means that things not shared won't be there, so no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your events, albums and keywords, faces and places back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

You are still under warranty. Call Apple tech support and let them deal w/it.
You have 14 days to return the computer w/no questions asked. Plus you have 90 days of FREE phone tech support on top of your standard 1 year warranty unless you also purchased AppleCare which gives you an additional 2 years of coverage plus FREE phone support.
Strongly suggest that you take FULL advantage of the above before it runs out. Let Apple deal w/the problems.
