What service are you trying to access? Safari and Chrome are both supported by the Acrobat online services, so there shouldn't be an issue there. Have you tried clearing the browser cache for each of those browsers? And, is it possible that your computer may have firewall or proxy settings that limit your access to the Internet?
Finally, what happens when you try to sign in to the service from within Reader? Any luck there?

YouTube will not load in Safari or Chrome
I'm using the latest version of Yosemite. I'm not sure how it happened, but now any embedded YouTube videos will not play in either Safari or Chrome. What's worse, when I go to the actual YouTube.com page, I see a bunch of textual gibberish and no graphics whatsoever. Here's the kicker, they play just fine in Firefox. Anyone have a solution for this?

This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of this exercise is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party system modifications that load automatically at startup or login. Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards. Boot in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. The instructions provided by Apple are as follows:
Be sure your Mac is shut down.
Press the power button.
Immediately after you hear the startup tone, hold the Shift key. The Shift key should be held as soon as possible after the startup tone, but not before the tone.
Release the Shift key when you see the gray Apple icon and the progress indicator (looks like a spinning gear).
Note: If FileVault is enabled under Mac OS X 10.7 or later, you can’t boot in safe mode.
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including wireless networking on certain Macs.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem(s)?
After testing, reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test. -

You don't. Since you have an Intel Mac, buy a Mac OS X 10.6 DVD from the online Apple Store.

My imac will not load after I enter my password. The only thing I get is the arrow from my mouse on top of a blank white screen. Can anyone tell me what this is? I've restarted and turned off several times. I left it on in this state for 8 hours hoping it would reload and work. No luck.

You may try booting your Mac in Safe Boot, as it can resolve many issues that may prevent a successful login.

Podcast will not load in safari from server, but will load in other Apps
Podcast will not load in safari from iWeb Page from server, but will load in Firefox and other web apps.
Here the problem: I have a podcast page made in iWeb. It is setting on a server with GoDaddy. When I try load page with Safari, I get where the Quicktime Playing Bars are a small Quicktime Logo w/? mark and will not download or play. But in Firefox, My iPad and in Windows side it will load and play. Also it play on a friends Macbook Pro in Safari. (Note it will play in my Safari after Firefox has play -it "very strange to me" like Firefox will open some port, but it will not stay open if quit Safari re-booth-it) I have remove the .plist for Quicktime & Safari. And clean out the Cache for Safari. Also have re-set the Firewall setting to Enable Stealth Mode only. Re-load the site to GoDaddy. This is happening to both Mac's in my network and in all users accounts.
My Network is a A&TT with a 2Wire w/wrieless turn off. going into and Airport Extreme Base Station w/N generation network. One computer is connected with and ethernet cable to the Airport extreme base station the other is a wireless contection.
I do feel this and network issue and I can't seem to solve-it. How can I get Safari to open the port and download and play-it on my network?We've only discover this yesterday. One of our listeners sent me an e-mail about-it. With a little more research this morning. I've discover that everybody I've had check-it is have the same problem only with Safari 4.0.5. So I'm starting to feel that this is an Apple Safari Bug in 4.0.5 for the Mac only. It seems to be OK everywhere else on other devices. I agree in most cases this is not a problem. But when have older people who do not download into iTunes around the world it is to them. We have 250 or more listeners a week. This is a Church podcast.
For right now we are planing to post a message on the site saying you will not be able to listen to the podcast in Safari, but can in Firefox and ect. -

It should be: Click on Home Folder (the House) and to the right Library is shown, click on the arrow on the Library folder to reveal its contents and then click on Cookies to reveal its contents and then move the Cookies.plist to the Trash as Carolyn suggests.

Tried to open an app and my iPad gen one froze. It only shows the apple on black screen and will show the operating wheel sometimes and while plugged in it will beep every few minutes. Will not load one show anything on screen but the small white apple.
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Flash Player Mac 10,3,181,26 not loading in Safari 5.0.5 64-bit mode, any fix?
As the title says, the Flash Player 10,3,181,26 is not not loading in Safari 5.0.5 64-bit mode, I found out after wasting 2 hours installing/uninstalling the plugin and trying anything from repairing disk permissions to installing a fresh Safari app, then it hit me... switch Safari to 32-bit mode and bang!, Flash Player worked just fine.
Even as a long time Flash developer, I refuse to stay in 32-bit mode just to be able to see my work in Safari so please Adobe guys, find a fix for this.Hi, You are probably aware of the Square version which is 64bit support. Haven't heard when it may be ready for a shipped version. But it's being worked on. Since you are a Developer, I thought maybe you'd be working on it too.

IWeb Masked images not loading in Safari
When I apply a mask to images in iWeb they will not load properly in Safari. They load fine in FireFox. When the mask is removed the images will load in Safari, re-apply the mask and no go.
Have done the usual reset safari, etc.
Any suggestions?Well, I narrowed it down a bit more. Its not the mask thats causing the issue, its the mirror or drop shaddow. With those two affects applied the pictures will not load in Safari. Remove them, and they load fine.
Would love a fix for this, as those affects really dress things up, but its not a deal breaker.

IWeb 09 site RSS Widgets are not loading in Safari. http://macroads.com Worked fine up until this morning.
Several iWeb 09 site owners in a discussion on an iWeb topic reported an RSS Widget feed bug via Safari's bug reporting link under the Safari menu. Less than an hour later, the site feeds came back online. Apple Rocks!

Google map not loading in Safari
My embedded google map will not load in Safari. Will load in all other browsers just not Safari.
Google maps use embedded HTML from Google to render content served by Google.
If some of your users can't see the google map, it could be a problem connecting to the google maps site, or a browser setting that prevents google maps from displaying.

I know how to use about:config & have had the usual problems with newtab page tiles but this is more like a bug- using 33.0.1. Doesn't show tiles icon in top right corner just shows a gear that is used to hide the empty tiles that I can't fill with sites. First it would only show 2 rows of 4 columns even though I had it set to 5 & 6 then few days later for no reason they went empty with a serrated line around the tiles & can't drag from the bookmarks---- really bloody annoying!!!!!!! Possibly a setting in the about:config but i can't fig it out?Reset Firefox to its default state
