Does it happen to change to a certain time, every single time you sync it.
Check the timezone that is set as well.
Sadly I'm a newcomer and don't know more than what I just stated above.

Sometimes the computer is running app(s) that mean that the computer stays awake. If you close all applications it will work, so the best thing may be to open each one on its own in turn to see which on is keeping your MacBook awake.

My MBP (retina) keeps changing the time!

I recently brought a new MBP with retina but the time keeps changing by its self! I have tried setting it to manual time but it still changes. I have also turnt off auto detect timezone to see if it was that but it still changes. I also use windows 7 on my mac if that helps.

Using Premier 7 making a video for my son and need to keep the time/date stamp that is visible when playing the video direct from the camera to the tv. When I compile the video and burn to DVD this Stamp disappears how do keep it on the film that I am editing so when I burn it will be still there?

Ah, PrElements 7. I thought that you had Pr 7.0, which was also named PrPro 1.0.

Now, in PrE's forum, look for the FAQ section, to the right of the main page. Steve Grisetti has done a few FAQ's on HDD cameras, and their MPEG files.
As for your Date/Time stamp, I am not sure if any of the DVDate programs will work directly with that. There are a few threads, but I do not recall the solutions. Do a search of that forum and you will get some info.
Back in later versions of PrPro, I have some tips on TimeCode, but that is different than what you want.
I also do not know if something like SceneAlyzer Live can Capture what you want.
Still, others have asked in the PrE forum, so there might be some solutions.

What's the best way to sync the time between FP and host?

I have tried with Set Date and Time (Client).VI and Write Time to FP RT Module (Server).VI in order to synchronize the time, but I have got different behaviours running this VIs. Is there any recommended way to do it?

The easiest way would be set the host to be the time server of the FP module. The host would have to be a static IP address and running the Logos Time Server. Otherwise if you have LabVIEW RT 7.0 there is a VI in the RT>>Utilities palette which allows you to programmatically set the time of the FP module.

Auto set the Time

Im using a 1st gen iPhone running v2.2 on the Vodafone network in India. I dont see a setting for Auto setting the date/time anywhere. I know there is supposed to be such a setting on the phone because I've seen people referring to it on this forum, but just cant find it on my phone.. can anyone please tell me where I would find it?
Another thing, does syncing the phone with the Mac synchronise the Mac's time to the phone? I know this happens when you first set up the phone thru the Mac, but I've noticed that now my phone is several seconds off from the Mac, meaning that it does not sync the time with the Mac

I always hear how Europe's cellular networks are more mature and developed, etc., and most phones available in Europe are generally more advanced than what is available in the U.S. because of the more mature and developed cellular networks in Europe, but most or many cellular providers in Europe don't support an automatic date and time feature for cell phones?
I've always had this available with all cell phones and with a number of different cellular providers I've used, which dates back to the mid 90's.
I wonder why all these mature and developed networks and cellular providers in Europe don't support this?

ICal won't stop taking the times out of my event names

I make my calendar events as follows: "10:00 doctor appt"
This makes it so I can see the time at a glance and means that I didn't forget to put a time. I also like feeling entirely in control of my calendar.
However, iCal keeps taking the time out and adding it to the state of the event, which I don't like. I don't mind it changing the state as long as it leaves the time in the text. I've tried to find a way to turn off this functionality, but I can't find a checkbox for it. I've been having to manually fix the text on each event once or twice before the time will stay, which is extremely annoying. Is there any way to get the text to stay that I've missed? If not, can Apple please include a fix for this in their next update? Thanks.

Generally speaking, I enter my events in the "Month" view.
Try entering the event by typing "doctor appt at 10:00" This is what is displayed when I use that entry method:
If the "Month" view window is too small the time will not display, so make sure that the window is large enough to display the time.
Also, open Calendar Help and look for "Add events to calendars." That will help explain various text entry techniques.

My Mac won't stop speaking the time even though I have turned it off. What can I do?

I tried to turn off "Announce the time" in "Date & Time" preference pane in "System Preferences" on my Mac running 10.9.4. It is unchecked. Yet it is still speaking the time. What can I do to get it to stop? I have tried unchecking/checking closing System Preferences many times to no avail; it just keeps announcing the time. Any ideas?

These are two possible approaches that will normally work to move an existing library to a new computer.
Method 1
Backup the library with this User Tip.
Deauthorize the old computer if you no longer want to access protected content on it.
Restore the backup to your new computer using the same tool used to back it up.
Keep your backup up-to-date in future.
Method 2
Connect the two computers to the same network. Share your <User's Music> folder from the old computer and copy the entire iTunes library folder into the <User's Music> folder on the new one. Again, deauthorize the old computer if no longer required.
Both methods should give the new computer a working clone of the library that was on the old one. As far as iTunes is concerned this is still the "home" library for your devices so you shouldn't have any issues with iTunes wanting to erase and reload.
I'd recommend method 1 since it establishes an ongoing backup for your library.
Note if you have iOS devices and haven't moved your contacts and calendar items across then you should create one dummy entry of each in your new profile and iTunes should merge the existing data from the device.
If your media folder has been split out from the main iTunes folder you may need to do some preparatory work to make it easier to move. See make a split library portable.
Should you be in the unfortunate position where you are no longer able to access your original library or a backup then then see Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device for advice on how to set up your devices with a new library with the maximum preservation of data.

Your phone is toast. Contrary to what the lovely folks in the jalibreaking community say, attempting to restore the iPhone to "factory" condition does not always remove the jailbreak. You'll need to contact those bozos and see if they can help you.
Hint: start saving for a new phone.

If you have a backup, you can restore the e-mails. Go to Finder and select your user/home folder. With that Finder window as the front window, either select Finder/View/Show View options or go command - J. When the View options opens, check ’Show Library Folder’. That should make your user library folder visible in your user/home folder. Library/Mail/V2.

I did the restore and it cleared and reset the iPod but after it finished the same error came up. I tried this 3 times. Also it no longer shows up as a drine in My Computer.
if it's relentlessly doing that to you, it's plausible that the message is being caused by a Windows drive letter confusion. (that's consistent with the disappearance for My Computer, too.)
