It's about time this problem was fixed!!!!
It's been a long time coming but i've finaly come to the point where I feel I am forced to write this post. Being long time mac user's our companies have owned every mac since the SE30. I feel we have been more than loyal. However recent events have annoyed me to the point of souring my relationship with the mac. Not only has my dual 2.5 developed a mysterious hardware fault that corrupted 2 DLT's and forced the re-run of 2 glass masters, the purchase of a new mac pro should have alleviated this problem but oh no that would be too easy! surprise surprise DVDsp on the mac pro doesn't work with DLT's. Looking through this forum this problem has existed since the introduction of the universal binary version of Final Cut Studio and yet has not been fixed! Whilst I commend Apple for producing some in incredibly elegant software what's the point when it doesn't work as advertised. I am also pretty sure that companies like Sonic Solutions would patch their software pretty quickly if a bug as glaring as this one existed. I am in an unfortunate position as my main customer is now asking questions as to why are all the hiccups happening and when will they will be fixed but I cannot give them an answer.
I'm sorry for the long post but it would be wonderful if we could at least be told when this problem might be fixed.

I'm new to DVDsp, i've been authoring for 4-5 years on Sonic Solution and i can feel your pain.
I've been using DVDsp for a month now and already discover a major bug, luckyly just in time before sending the disc to replication. DVDsp 4 has a problem with static menu..it will play fine on some machine but won't display the menu at all on others. This might seem like minor to some but since all my work goes to replication, any bug can cost tens of thousand of dollars.
I'll give DVDsp a few more months but so far it's definitely not as bullet proof as i thought.
On a side note, why don't you just send your final DVD-5 or DVD-9 to replication ??? i have not used DLT for ages. Just the final burned DVD is fine, at least this way, you can check the DVD before you send it out.

Don't hold it like that. You're creating an 'echo chamber' due to the position of your hand/neck/face. It's not a technical issue. I hear this when I talk to my wife and she cradles the phone against her shoulder.

Help help please... I'm running Photoshop CS, on a Windows XP machine. After re-booting the machine after an unexpected power failure I have been told that the "Configuration appears to have changed since the time this product was activated. To continue using this product I must re-activate it". BUT the activation link informs me that they no longer support the product (neither online nor telephonically). So how can I re-activate this software?

As you said above, yes, I did find OC4J config issue & EM Config issue and resolved them. But still I couldn't get my DBConsole started.
Yes, I was able to drop DBConsole<sid> service using 'emca' repository drop. But, when I started recreating repository for DBConsole service, I wasn't able to do it. I tried several times but in vain.

My brand-new iPad Mini has Siri unresponsive. This happens quite frequently and I find it very frustrating. I have a strong Wi-Fi connection. Has anyone had this problem and fixed it?

The button used to work until I upgraded, now it doesn't. The button still works for other documents and if I use Internet Explorer Browser. I have windows vista. Any suggestions?

I have a few games with quite a few hours invested, and I worry that I'll lose the progress I have as they do not save to the cloud. I may have to bite the bullet, and just take the plunge to resolve this. I just want a way to easily transfer my "Home Computer" for my iPhone. My laptop is years old and in need of being replaced, and it's about time to upgrade my phone. These life events piling up are making me consider switching to a friendlier OS. I'm not using this as a threat. I just hope some apple high up will read this, and realize that we need alternatives. Life happens.

Using the guide provided has done both. It has helped me and given me a fix to my current problem. Lawrence has also provided me with the last bit of information I feel is missing from wjosten's guide. That syncing will completely erase all of your data and reinstall it in one fell swoop. Best RegardsThe ONLY fix is to know the Apple ID/Password that was originally used to activate the phone. If you don't know this info, then the phone will be useless to you. Apple can't/won't help you.

hi all,
im having lots of difficulties updating my iphone 3g. i have plugged it into itunes, it goes ahead with updating and restoring. it goes through all the process but right at the end it tells me it was unable to do it and that there was an error. my phone now cant be used as it keeps telling me to connect to itunes which i cant do as the phone needs restoring.
please could you advise me on how to solve this problem?

iTunes needs to fix the problem with there iTunes cards not activating properly! This is not the retailers fault and they will not return iTunes cards that have had the code area scratched there for apple needs to credit and or activated the cards there is thousands of people having this problem please bite the bullet and fix it already I will not be using iTunes until this is corrected...

Lightroom 5.3 crashes when using Email Photo. This problem was documented in May 2013

I continually get the message: Firefox has stopped working!
I have uninstalled & reinstalled Firefox per help from this forum followed the instructions. That didn't work!
Then I got help from someone else saying go to your Firewall & unblock Mozilla.
I did that & thought it fixed the problem but just opened & closed Firefox & got the same message again!
If there is a fix for this please let me know???

Firefox 21 is expected to be released on Tuesday, so if you think it might be specific to Firefox 20.0.1, you could install the very-nearly-final version of Firefox 21 from here: http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/beta/

I use Eircom webmail for email. Since I downloaded Mozilla 4 it is not working properly. It is impossible to open mail except by using a circuitous route also I cannot delete messages straightforwardly. Mozilla3.6 never caused this problem. Can this be solved and if not how do I reload 3.6. If I cant get a resolution I shall have to use Chrome as my browser. Thanks in advance Mary Lordan

This problem can be solved in seconds with just 8 or 10 clicks of your mouse. As you are reading this you are already in Internet explorer. At the top left hand side of your screen you should see the below words.
File Edit View Favourites Tools Help
If you can't see the above words then right click on any blank area on the third bar from the top of your screen and click on menu bar
Now click on Tools then click on Internet Options. Then click on the Advanced tab at the top right hand side of that page. Now click on the Reset button near the bottom right hand side. Now close and then re-open your Internet explorer.
