Well, just got back from a client lunch in the big bad city, and there's a HUGE box sitting in my entranceway.
So here's my question, without even having opened it: To what version of Tiger do I update? 10.4.4 or 10.4.5? Not even having opened it, it may have already shipped with the latest, so it might be moot.
But I'd love your thoughts. This is going to be a fun evening!
One really cool change Apple has made with the new PMs: Even if you plug a 3.5mm stereo plug into Audio Out, the Mac chime still plays through the internal speaker at boot up.
And class, this is important because ???????????????
Because if you need to hold down a modifier key at boot, you'll know when to start holding it down - as soon as you hear the chime - and you don't have to unplug the 3.5mm first.
(I oftentimes boot up the Quad before I've powered my Mackie 1202 mixer and the power amp, so I really appreciate this little detail.)

Delete the account on your phone. This will not delete any data on her phone or iPad, or data stored in iCloud.

it wont reconize it because ive never connected it to my i tunes.

To restore from backup see:
iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes
If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.
You can redownload most iTunes purchases by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
If problem what happens or does not happen and when in the instructions? When you successfully get the iPod in recovery mode and connect to computer iTunes should say it found an iPod in recovery mode. -
when I add tunes from a CD into iTunes on myMacPro, shouldn't I be able to see them on my iPad and iPhone if I've got iCloud? For some reason I thought the advertisement on TV said "add music here, and see it there.." or was that just photos?
Oh, wait -- also, you took about uploading CDs. I don't think *those* would automatically go to your other devices *until* you subscribe to iMatch or whatever that's called. You have to pay an extra $25 a year to get all your uploaded stuff in the cloud and therefore on your other devices. Anything you *purchase* from iTunes on one device would automatically be sent to the other devices.
I did the Match thing, and it took a while at first to upload all the non-iTunes stuff, but then it worked. The whole thing is still new and has some kinks to work out. -

Edge has very clear restrictions, one being that you must have 6 months of clean payment history which you don't. Either wait until April 14, or good luck at Sprint.
I am unsure how it can be determined the payment mix up was the fault of CS, but regardless, the mix up was done. There can be any number of reasons why a payment could be missed without any fault on your part, however you are still the responsible party for the account and must live with the repercussions. -

She can't from iCloud without setting up your iCloud account on her phone. But just sync the same apps from your iTunes Library on your computer to her phone.
Your wife should setup her own iCloud account - which is separate to the iTunes Store accounts. -

The bottom rubber case of my macbook 13" late 2009 has expanded and has detached from the main body..As i'm not presently under warranty i wanted to know will the repair be free of charge for me. I had once got it replaced for free but in warranty. As i read some where in the support that apple had agreed with the defect and had decided to replace the bottom covers without any charge. And even if i'm charged for it what will be the amount will hav to pay for it..

In the US, AT&T is the only supported GSM carrier. They will not allow you to use pre-paid plans on the iPhone, but they do have post paid plans that are strictly month to month and can be cancelled at any time. -

Got charged improperly for a movie download
Tried to download a movie for a plane trip. My wife tried first on her iPad and found she did not have enough memory. Then I tried on my iPhone 6 plus and although it said it was downloaded it didn't play on the plane. We got charged twice for a movie we could not watch. Tried to find support to get credit but can't find anything. What now?
Are you and your wife using the same iTunes account on your iPad and iPhone, and if you are how did you try to download the film ? If you are using the same account and you used the Purchased tab in the iTunes store app on your phone (assuming that you are in a country where films can be redownloaded) then you shouldn't have been charged again - you can use the 'report a problem' page to contact iTunes Support : http://reportaproblem.apple.com
