From the Help menu, select Check For Updates.
On the Source page, under Search Update Centers, select Oracle Fusion Middleware Products, and click Next.
On the Updates page, select the extension you want to download. For example, to download the Oracle WebCenter Framework Extension, select Oracle WebCenter Framework and Services Design Time 11.1.1.0.0. • How to redraw a business process ?

    Greetings,
    During a business process definition, the arrows representing the process flows are automatically drawn and hence, sometimes, they superseeds each other, etc. is there any way to redraw a business process flow such that the arrows and nodes be shown in an optimal manner ?
    Kind regards,
    Nicolas

    Hi Nicolas
    You might find the "Layout" button in the top right corner of the process helpful.
    I'm a bit obsessive about the way the processes are drawn so I don't use it. Sure there is someone out there who uses this, but believe most of us manually layout the processes.
    Be sure to click Save button before clicking the Layout button. Worse case is that you see what it does and then hit Cntl-Z to undo it.

    can you be a little more specific what you are exactly looking for?! In general you can find plenty of documentation under http://service.sap.com/bpm > Media Library or visit the different SDN blogs, e.g.  /people/volker.vongloeden/blog/2009/07/23/functional-scope-of-business-process-monitoring-in-sap-solution-manager

    Could you explain little bit mroe about what you are looking
    for ?
    Are you looking for the way to document Business Process in SolMan ?
    Or
    Are you looking for the way to monitor your business process in
    the backedn system ?
    The link that vasanthgobi mentioned is the SAP help on business
    process monitoring.
    Documentation topic
    In SAP Solman, you can document your business process in following
    2 area. Project area and Solution area. Project area is mainly used
    for implementation phase or initial documentation. Solution area is
    used for operation phase.
    And to support the documentation, SAP Solman provides several
    supporting tools for project area (you can copy the document in
    project area to solution later).
    In SolMan 7.1, if you want to document your business process,
    you may have following possibility.
    (General motivation for the documentation, please refer to the
    this blog http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/weblogs?blog=/pub/wlg/27054.
    And service Market Place

      =>meet the expert =>Replay  Library.
      =>SAP Solution manager =>Solution Documentation )
    1.Upload via EXCEL (initial upload) and adjust in project area
    <Create templete via project, and create excel content locally
      and upload to project area>
    2.Maintain business process by using Business Blue print function
    <Using more graphical instead of SolMan screen>

    3.Start initial documentation using RBPD content and adjust it in
    project area
    <SAP and IBIS develop analysis content based on the business
      process repository. By using this content, you can execute
      analysis for ERP and can get process utilization info.
      And you can create initial process from this>.

      http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/weblogs?blog=/pub/wlg/26074
      And service market place link
      http://service.sap.com/rbpd
    4.Document manually in project area
    (Also ARIS integration is possible).
    In above case, if you use RBPD content, yes, you have some step
    related to the backend system (collecting process execution statistic
    in ERP). But in other case, you do not have any activity to ERP.
    For RBPD, it collects the data by using job, and you can control
    the number of WP to be used. The runtime will be depending your
    ERP system size.
    Business Process Monitoring topic
    In SolMan, there are business process monitoring functionality.
    Actually, it is not only the monitoring, but also you can use it
    for business process improvement.
    Basically in business process monitoring related tools,
    there are 2 main tools
    1.Business Process Monitoring tool - Monitoring
    2.Business Process Analytics tool - Analysis & benchmarking
    (Also there are dashboard).
    Business Process Monitorings enables monitoring of your core
    business process from technical and application side.
    The tool can monitor specific job(normal job/BW process chain),
    interface(IDoc, tRFC, qRFC etc), performance, and also different
    types of transaction document like sales order, delivery,
    purchase order, production ordet etc.
    For transaction monitoring, there are pre-defined template
    (best practice).
    Also it allows to monitor any table (z/y-table also).
    And the Analytics tool is the tool based on the BW.
    By using this, you can do benchamarking, trend analysis,
    backlog analysis.
    In more, I highly recommend to check the series of blog
    by Volker. And FAQ document.

    There are configuration document in service market place also.

  • Is there a way to draw a straight line from one point to another?

    Is there a way of drawing a straight line from one point to another please?

    Yes.  First click on this icon:
    Now select the line drawing icon:
    Now press a shift key and drag your mouse on the image to draw a straight line.
    These instructions are for Windows system so you need to adapt the method for Macs.  I can't afford to by an Apple Mac!!!!!
    Good luck.

    What is the best way to set up business accounts with multiple ipads?

    Here are three different methods >
    How to use multiple iPods, iPads, or iPhones with one computer, http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1495
    This article > iOS: How to transfer or sync content to your computer, http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1296
    suggests using contacts groups.
    When syncing contacts, you can choose to sync all of your contacts or only selected groups.
    You can select a group of contacts to which all new contacts created on your iOS device will be added.
    You can set up groups in the Address Book application.
    If you are all going to use the same iTunes apps library, turn off "Automatically sync new apps" in the apps tab just below the list of apps.  Then you won't get new apps on your device unless you select them.

  • Two way Asynchronous business process for Webservice to JDBC scenario

    Hi Experts,
    For the webservice to JDBC scenario, I have to use two way Asynchronous business process. Is it possible?
    Scenario : Webservice to JDBC -> Async Call
    JDBC to Webservice -> Async Call
    I have already done with two way Synchronous. Here I would like to know about only Async call. Please provide your suggestions.
    Is it recommended to use Async call when we have Synchronous option?
    For the above requirement I have to create two separate services and in BPM, I have to call one by one..Is it correct?
    Regards
    Sara
    Edited by: Sara D on Dec 18, 2007 8:05 AM

    hi sara,
    yes it is possible.
    In receiver channel JDBC we have a special parameter "Exactly Once Handling " which is to assure async incoming data to be written only once to avoid redundancy.
    Although Synchronous is "Best Effort" but it is considered to be "Worst Case". We can use Sync but try to use Async as much as possible to ensure system performance.
    Ques : For the above requirement I have to create two separate services and in BPM, I have to call one by one..Is it correct?
    yup you have to create two services and you are following right path but this scenario should be in two steps seperately.

  • Is there an easier way to draw a shape in 3d to match X,Y, Z of photo?

    I usually start a project in 2d and import photos, draw shapes and text in this 2d environment. I find it easier this way because they all start out on the same plane, and when manipulating in 3d later, this initial plane acts as a reference plane that I can shift X,Y,Z and rotation paramaters from. I then add a new camera and turn everything into 3d. However, as I work further in the timeline, I sometimes want to add a rectangle that overlaps exactly on top of a photo lying in 3d space as to cover it. When I start the shape command in the active camera view and draw the rectangle to match the outline of the photo, it seems like the photo and rectangle are on the same plane in this view. However, when I check this by going to the perspective view and checking from other angles I see that the rectangle was placed on an arbitrary plane and the rectangle is not overlapping the photo.
    To correct this, I open the inspector of the photo and write down it's X,Y,Z positions and also it's X,Y,Z rotation parameters. Then I go to the rectangle that I have already drawn and in the wrong plane, open it's inspector properties, and replace with the X,Y,Z and rotation parameters of the photos. Then fine tune the orthogonal positions and scaling within the plane with the 3d tranform tool. This seems like a lot of work, especially when I have to do it a 100 times. Looking for an easier way to draw a shape on the same plane of a photo in 3d space.
    Thanks

    Howdy,
    This is a really good question about one of the bigger challenges of building a 3D project. When you add objects to the Canvas (including drawing), they get added in the camera's viewspace, facing the camera and sharing the same up-vector (i.e. positive Y is up). This is all well and good, but what about doing what you ask, where you want to add an object in the localspace of another object? Let's look at your example: adding a shape that is coplanar to a photo, with the camera not necessarily aligned with the photo.
    As Mark suggested, you can draw the shape in the camera's viewspace and then drag-and-drop the Position and Rotation channels from the photo onto the shape. This will replace the shape's Position and Rotation values with that of the photo, making them coplanar and located in the same place. The shortcoming of this method is that you draw the shape at a size that seems correct in the Canvas, but once it's moved to the same place as the photo, it will often turn out to be too small or large. Then you have to make further tweaks.
    Another solution is to use the Isolate command. Isolate temporarily aligns the current view to the selected object and solos that object. So you could isolate the photo and then draw the shape in the Canvas and it will be coplanar with the photo. The only caveat is that the moment you finish drawing the shape, it will disappear. This is because the photo is still isolated (and soloed). As soon as you de-isolate the photo, everything will reappear.
    The easiest way to use Isolate for new photos—not ones already in the project—is to place the photo in a 3D group, position the group where you want the photo and shape to be, then isolate the group and add anything you want to it (shapes, image, text, etc).

  • What is the easiest way to draw rectangles in PS ?

    What is the best and easiest way to draw the outline of a geometric shape in PS ?
    I want to be able to control the line thickness.
    I do not want to use the superimposition of on slightly smaller rectangle over another to make the outline....
    .....too ify and too time consuming.
    The line tool from the tool palette is also ungratifying and not the answer.
    There must be a better way.
    Thanx

    Not getting it Chris.
    Could you paste in an image explaining what it is you do after setting the fill capacity
    to zero because when I did that the rectangle and everything else disappeared.
    This is what was left of my rectangle when the fill opacity was 32%

  • Efficiant way of drawing?

    Im looking for the most efficiant way to draw, my application requires drawing of images every 50m/s or so.
    What im doing is using a class which uses PixelGrabbar for a pixel array, this is left there to use so it dosn't have to load every single time.
    For example;
    public ImageClass image1 = new ImageClass("myimage");Then, there i have a class which has a set pixel array size, for example;
    public ScreenDrawing sd1 = new ScreenDrawing(400, 600, this);This uses the following code;
    public ScreenDrawing(int w, int h, Component component)
            drawingAreaHeight = h;
            drawingAreaWidth = w;
            drawingAreaSize = new int[w * h]; //pixel array
            drawingAreaImage = component.createImage(this);
            component.prepareImage(drawingAreaImage, this);
            component.prepareImage(drawingAreaImage, this);
            component.prepareImage(drawingAreaImage, this);
        }Basically, when i want to draw the whole screen image i would do this;
    sd1.drawPixels(x, graphics, y);This would draw the pixel array to the screen at x, y.
    To get the pixels set on the "screenDraw" class i would do;
    image1.setPixels(x, y);After this is set it paints it to the screen.
    public void drawGraphics(int xOffset, Graphics g, int yOffset)
            setImageConsumer();
            g.drawImage(drawingAreaImage, xOffset, yOffset, this);
    public synchronized void setImageConsumer()
            if(imageConsumer != null)
                imageConsumer.setPixels(0, 0, drawingAreaHeight, drawingAreaWidth, colorModel, drawingAreaSize, 0, drawingAreaHeight);
                imageConsumer.imageComplete(2);
        }This is basically everything i use.
    But i have a problem, when drawing an image, for example just the size, 96 x 96 pixels, this will just flicker the image instead of drawing it because of the speed it needs to be drawn to update with the image placed above of this image.
    If anyone knows any more efficiant way to draw please help.
    Thanks.

    If you are painting by using repaint(), then for an AWT component you need to override
    public void paint(Graphics g) {
         //call methods to do painting stuff
    }and override
    public void update(Graphics g) {
         paint(g);
    }to call paint. What's happening is that when you call repaint(), the AWT painting mechanism calls update(...) . This method in turn erases the background before calling paint(...) . The flickering is from seing the erasing.
