It's not letting me update my apps how can I sort it
Am having problems updating my apps and it keeps on coming up about me billing information and keeps saying it declined all of the time what can I do ? To sort the problem out ?
The update server is down; try this temporary workaround
App Store>Purchased>Select "All"
Note: Look out for apps that have the word "Update"

Yep, it does matter. You won't be able to update or get anything until this is fixed. Contact iTunes support to see what's wrong:

If a reset (the method Kevin refers to) doesn't work, you'll probably need to try putting the iPod into recovery mode and restoring it:

If that still doens't work, your iPod may have suffered a hardware failure and will need to taken or sent to Apple for service.

Stop trying to put the same password in as the mobile me account and go into the Apps section of your library in itunes and right click an application, select get info and see what the email address is where it says account.
Your apple id for the itunes store is likely a different address like a gmail or a hotmail.

I bought an app last week but they have not took the money out of bank or sent me a receipt for the app so now i cannot update any apps or download any free apps even though i have money waiting in my account for them to take it. Please help how can i sort this out??

There isn't a phone number for iTunes Support.
If you mean that the address is your rescue email address then follow the steps half-way down this page for changing it http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5312 :
Navigate to appleid.apple.com using your web browser.
Click "Manage your account"
When prompted, sign in using your Apple ID and password.
Click Password & Security
You'll be asked to answer 2 of your 3 security questions before you can make any modifications. If you are unable to remember your answers, you can choose to send an email to your rescue email to reset your security questions.
After you've validated your identity by correctly answering your security questions, click Edit to the right of your rescue email address.
Once you've finished editing your rescue email address, click the Save button directly below the email field.
You can then try using it as your primary email address on your account (you may need to log out and back in after removing it as your rescue email address). -

How can I sort this ...Got it!!!! A re-install is NOT the answer. You need to turn on individual notifications under Settings > Facebook > Push Notifications, BUT (and this is a big and confusing BUT) you also need to turn on global push settings under Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendards > Fetch New Data (and change the Push slider to 'on'). This doesn't sound like it makes sense, but I guess that the push slider under 'Mail, Contacts, Calendars' is actually for ALL push notifications on iPhone, and not just Mail, Contacts and Calendar apps!

I want to transfer the book from itunes to my ipod & my new ipad. Hoping it is the same process for both. I thought I would just be able to drag it over to my ipod device but not letting me.
iTunes does not support drag and drop for iOS devices.
Connect either the iPod or iPad to your computer, launch iTunes.
Select the iPod (iPad) under Devices left side of the iTunes window in the source list.
Select Books from the menu.
Then click the Sync button bottom right side of the iTunes window.
You can select All Books or Selected Books. -

You really can't delete the account.

YO can just delete all media purchased with the account and change the ID to a new one. and not lose things like photos except for photos directly associated with the ID like maybe photos in your PhotoStream -

An automatic update ran this morning. Noticed when I started up the computer, a message came up saying that Firefox was running, even tho' it wasn't. Update finished, and now I cannot get the search tool to work. Help!!!

Try to reset some preferences to the default with the SearchReset extension:

Note that the SearchReset extension only runs once and then uninstalls automatically, so it won't show on the "Firefox > Add-ons" page (about:addons).
If there is a problem with searching via the default about:home page then try to reset the search engine used on the about:home page.
Reset the <b>browser.startup.homepage_override.mstone</b> pref via the right-click context menu to the default on the <b>about:config</b> page and close and restart Firefox to restore the about:home page to its default.

I just recently purchased 3 songs from itunes not knowing that I had no money on my debit card (visa) left. My iphone wont let me update my apps and says that there was a billing problem with my last purchase. I dont know what I am supposed to do! I dont understand why it worked in the first place when it wasn't supposed to!
There seems to be a billing problem with the iTS. I've been trying to make purchases today (Dec 9th) too and it reports either the iTS can not process payments or it says my card was declined. I even changed the payment method to Paypal (which is never declined) and still no go.
I don't think it is "you" but a problem at Apple. Some popular new apps were released recently like Logic Pro and perhaps they're getting bombarded as they did when Lion was released.
