it's 1st Nov now and i don't see any Apple Store update for iphone 4S unlocked. I check it every single day and it's still saying "coming in November". tired of it.

A new iphone will not do anything until you have activated with a carrier. -
I am using the iphone 4s in india now. i bought it from canada (factory unlocked). But here in india. when i put my vodafone sim in 4s. It only shows th name of the carrier but dont show the range towers. i tried airtel and reliance carriers also.but the result was same. now what can i do??

I have an iphone 5 factory unlocked gsm got my sim package with straightalk and it worked for 2 weeks no problems ... i was to update to ios 7.1 and now i dont have any service to make phone calls...... i contacted straight talk and they told me I need to have my phone unlocked again! is this true and if so how??
ok so the store I bought this from totally misrepresented it..I never got certification that it was factory unlocked ..thanks for your input ... it makes sense now ... it was a verizon phone to begin with from what I understand ..

I recently got myself an apple iphone 5s (factory unlocked) phone from the US. However on using the same in India with Vodafone, i am facing a problem where the connectivity keeps switching to EDGE most of the time. I have a 3G plan but most of the time it switches automatically to EDGE. Thats when i have to either switch Airplane mode - On/Off and then it acts normal. Any permanant solutions to fix this problem?Return the iPhone personally or via friend/relative/co-worker who is in
the US. The warranty is valid only in the country of original purchase - the USA
in this case. Apple will not accept international shipments for evaluation nor
will Apple ship out of the country after repair/replacement.
How did the iPhone from the US get to you in India? Reverse that process to

Updated my iPhone 4 factory unlocked to iOS 4.3.5 and I am facing problem of network, it shows No Service and can't identify the service provider even, many times it has network but constant lost and call drops. Now what should I do????

my friend got it unlocked from hyderabad ,there the mobile guy assured us that he will factory unlock it for rs 5000.. he just took the imei number and in 3 days iphone 5s was unlocked. he didnt take the phone so i knew he didnt jailbreak it or did some hacking stuff .. i have the box with me too with all accessories.but my friend doesnt know which carrier to it was locked....as his friend gave it to him from usa

Do you have an AT&T carrier file number showing? The only time you can use Facetime on AT&T cellular is if you are using one of their Shared Data plans. While they have not locked your phone, it appears their carrier file is in control of your device when you have the AT&T SIM card in there.
