They are probably trying to trick you to lower the flooding on itunes servers... if everyone thinks it is tomorrow, no one will try downloading today, then they are free to download.
The fact is that some people have downloaded 2.0 already legitimately from itunes, the only reason it is not working is because the servers are flooded and keep crashing.Hey, I heard the update was going to b released tomorrow. Would like to use an alarm clock. I need the alarm clock to function from the sleep mode. A review said that MAC products will not allow a program to wake up a Mac. Is this correct ? Are there any products in the Mac store what will function from the sleep mode ? How do I check this out ?
You can set times for your computer to turn on or wake from sleep in the Energy Saver system preference pane using the Schedule... button.

Suggestions Re: I'm running OSX 10.9.2, when my system updated it required my Apple ID... When I provided it, it said that AppleID hadn't been used at the App Store... so now I'm locked out of my system... what do I do??
First, there are no PPC Macs that can run Snow Leopard or later. Did you buy your iMac used? Where did you get Mavericks in the first place? If it was installed by the seller, then you are not licesnsed to use his/her copy.
Do you know exactly what iMac model you have? If it's a post 2010 model you can do the following:
Install Mavericks, Lion/Mountain Lion Using Internet Recovery
Be sure you backup your files to an external drive or second internal drive because the following procedure will remove everything from the hard drive.
Boot to the Internet Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND-OPTION- R keys until a globe appears on the screen. Wait patiently - 15-20 minutes - until the Recovery main menu appears.
Partition and Format the hard drive:
1. Select Disk Utility from the main menu and click on the Continue button.
2. After DU loads select your newly installed hard drive (this is the entry with the mfgr.'s ID and size) from the left side list. Click on the Partition tab in the DU main window.
3. Under the Volume Scheme heading set the number of partitions from the drop down menu to one. Click on the Options button, set the partition scheme to GUID then click on the OK button. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Partition button and wait until the process has completed. Quit DU and return to the main menu.
Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion. Mavericks: Select Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion, Mavericks and click on the Install button. Be sure to select the correct drive to use if you have more than one.
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet
if possible because it is three times faster than wireless.
This should restore the version of OS X originally pre-installed on the computer. You may then go to the App Store to download Mavericks using your Apple ID.
If you have a 2010 model you may require a special firmware upgrade before you can do the above: Computers that can be upgraded to use OS X Internet Recovery.
If you have an earlier iMac then you must get Snow Leopard 10.6.8 installed by installing a version of Snow Leopard either included on the software restore discs or:

I have a Galaxy S3 and love this phone but here at my new home which has absolutely no trees of bushes blocking anything, my phone calls are dropped ALL THE TIME and it's driving me crazy. Verizon finally said that they would come out and boost the signal but haven't seen anyone in two weeks. I have called Verizon tech help for one year to get help with this, either trade phone or something. I am so frustrated! I picked Verizon for the clear calls and coverage inside hospitals and buildings but it's been terrible. I have had three of these phones replaced. I need a different model like the S4 or the S5 I think cause it's something in this model.
Verizon is quickly becoming the worst cell phone company out there. To read all of these pleas from your loyal customers is just so sad and pitiful. You need to be sued for your data overage charges that you are intentionally imploding on your customers. They have pleaded, very intelligently, with you to do something to fix the issue and you willingly have NOT. As is with my reception issue that I was promised a signal booster for two months ago, so is this issue with the data. You don't follow up and solve the issues. Therefore the courts will find you fraudulent. When I was promised by your super tech that I needed a signal booster and he was sending it out overnight at no charge to me, I was relieved that it would finally be taken care of so I wouldn't lose faith with Verizon. Well, that was two months ago now with no record of it ever being ordered or on my file anywhere. I have since called three more times with hours of conversations about that issue and two more techs have told me they were sending me a signal booster with no follow up what so ever. WOW! That's pitiful! You may not care now, oh but you will later when you lose lots of money and business.

after resetting my phone to factory settings, it will not turn on. When i press the power button a white screen and black apple pop up. it stays on that screen and will not go to the home screen, it will just die. please help!

I updated to ios8 and tried to use Health Application. In Sources I get a message that other applications will show up on the list as they request permission to update your data. How does it happen? No apps are listed on my Sources section
I have an answer to my question. There is a bug in IOS8 that prevents third party applications to talk to the Health Application. Apple is trying to fix it ASAP

Getting support through this site is terrible. Having said that I have been trying to access the store in order to order PS CC and I have been unable to connect. I have an internet connection that works with everyone else. The URL comes up in the browse window and the address simply hangs. This has been going on for the past three hours.

If your iPhone was hacked/jailbroken to use a different carrier then the update locks it back again to the original carrier.

If you had the previous version of those apps on your machine then the upgrade is free.
If you didn't have them installed you must purchase them. -

Last weekend I went to the Apple store to replace my phone because the WiFi on my phone is nonfunctional. I need to back up to iCloud before I can replace my phone because I have information on there that needs to be saved. The worker at the Apple store said that, since I cannot connect to WiFi, I needed to plug my phone into my computer in order to back up. I went into iTunes and turned iCloud on, but my phone still will not back up to iCloud. So, I need to know exactly how to back up my iPhone to iCloud without WiFi?

AT&T Rep just said that activation emails will start going out at 7 am EST
He told me that there was a system outage last night at about 11 and that technicians did not start working on it until 1-2 AM. He said that the emails will start rolling out from east to west. It's six am on the east coast right now, so we'll see starting in an hour. I hope.
Try to have patience with this process. I had a meltdown last night with the activation delay, too. However, it will go through. And when it does the phone will absolutely blow you away. I had very high expectations and it has greatly exceeded them in a very short time.
Everything works! The web/email/visual voicemail/maps/etc./etc./etc. are fantastic.

I would like to upgrade my macbook from 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard) to Mountain Lion. However, app store said that my macbook is not compatible with Mountain Lion?
