how can i recover my iphone back up if it has been deleted from my icloud account presumably by apple which I didn't know they could do until now?
Apple reserves the right to delete backups after 180 days of inactivity. As stated in If you need help restoring an iCloud backup:
"If you haven't backed up your iOS device to iCloud for 180 days or longer, Apple reserves the right to delete the backups associated with that device. Review the iCloud Terms and Conditions for more information." -
I deleted my iphone back up is there any way to restore my photos
I was told by an apple rep when my phone was crashing to back up my phone to the cloud. The battery was dying so it would not. Then she told me me to delete some apps that I didn't use. Then she told me to delete my back up and then to re=-back up. The phone died and was sent to be repaired, but all my photos are missing!!! What can I do? Some a not replaceable.

Unfortunately I did not install find my iphone in the lost iphone so I cant use it . Can they restore the information and photos easily?! I mean the computer does not ask them for the passcode or the password of the apple ID inorder to complete the process of restoring?!
If they do restore it in iTunes, that process is going to wipe all your content from it, so your information would be gone. Yes, they can then go on and use your device as theirs, but your information is wiped from it at that point.
For future reference, along with the passcode, you can set it to erase everything after 10 failed passcode attempts. As long as you have regularly sync'd content back to your computer and maintained an up to date backup, you have safeguarded your content for your own recovery and use.
And in iOS 7 an iCloud account and find my phone activation is worth it just for Activation Lock, even if you don't care about any other iCloud features (all of which you can simply disable and not use if you choose to). -
Yesteday i lost my iphone and i delete it withfind my iphone this morning my iphone was return but is been 16 hours and the phone still deleting itself with only the circle on the front i tried a hard reset but dont work and the imac dont even recognize the phone. WHAT OPTIONS I HAVE?
I have read a number of threads with the rotating circle in the middle of the screen. Some have been able to Reset by holding down the Sleep Button and the Home Button until the Apple Logo shows up and then wait for a lock screen. This had to be done several times in some cases. Others suggest letting the battery totally run down and then charge for at least one half hour. Then do a Reset again.

i deleted a ton of photos and videos from my phone but it's still telling me iCloud won't back up because there is not enough storage available. how do i get around this?
The Storage space its referring to is on iCloud. How much iCloud space is left, and how much space is your iPhone using?
iCloud storage space and the iPhone's physical storage space are 2 different things. -
how do I delete photo ALBUMS from my iPHONE 4?
I sync via icloud and I can not see any folders selected in itunes.
I searched the internet and basically there is no one who has the answer (so far)
to how you delete the iphone photo library and misc albums
I have also had every iphone and I am not stupid.
charles altmanReplying to my own post - heh. I downloaded iExplorer (http://www.macroplant.com/iexplorer/) which allowed me access to the files on the phone and there was the phantom movie in the DCIM folder. Deleted it, and all is well - although I still have 0.65gb of Other in iTunes.....

TS3992 I bought iPhone 5 but cannot delete iPhone 4S back up because it says it is in use
Help, I bought an iPhone 5 yesterday but cannot back it up to the cloud, because it says there is no room. I tried deleting the last back up from iPhone 4S but it will not delete because it says it is in use.
I don't know about the "can't delete" issue, but as to the storage problem...
The problem could be that you don't have enough storage on the device itself, not on iCloud. Go to Settings>General>Usage to see how much "Storage" you have available on the device. Farther down the list is the available storage on iCloud.
Also check:
Go to Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backups>Manage Storage; there, tap the device you need info on and the resulting screen lists Backup Options with which apps store data on iCloud as well. Tap Show All Apps to get the complete list of apps and MB used for backup storage.
A device needs many MB of storage in order to perform a backup to iCloud.

Exchange SBS2003: Email that is deleted in Outlook 2010 is not deleted on iPhone 4, or marked read after upgrading to 6.0.1. Win 7 64bit. 2 other users in our office with iPhone 4 and iPhone 4s aren't having this issue. They didn't upgrade to 6.0.1 though. Mail that is deleted or read on the iPhone 4 is deleted or marked read in Outlook 2010. So it's a one-way problem.

I want to delete my old iPhone backup since I can not back up my new phone. Will I lose any pictures? Can you ever see what is actually on the cloud? Last, how do I delete the old iPhone back up. Thanks, been trying to do this for a long time.
Deleting the backup only permanently deletes the backup from iCloud. It doesn't do anything to the data currently in your account or on your devices. To delete it, go to Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backup>Manage Storage, tap the name of the device that you want to delete the backup for, then tap Delete Backup.
You can't see anything in an iCloud backup, if that's want you're asking. You can only restore it to your device. You can, of course, see your other iCloud data. -
I recently upgraded to an iPhone 5 and I have this synced with my previous iCloud account. My problem is my old iPhone 4 is taking up 2.5 GB of space in the cloud. Is there a way to delete this iphone from the icloud so I can free up space as it is not needed anymore?
Welcome to the Apple Community.
Assuming you have finished with your old backup.....
You can see what your iCloud storage is used for and delete any unwanted content at settings > iCloud > backup & storage > manage...... -
After I updated to iOS 7.0.2, my iTunes keeps telling me to restore my iPhone, after I restored it. Can someone tell me what I can do to fix this?
The Basic Troubleshooting Steps are:
Restart... Reset... Restore from Backup... Restore as New...
Restart / Reset > http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1430
Backing up, Updating and Restoring > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1414
If you try all these steps and you still have issues... Then a Visit to an Apple Store or AASP (Authorized Apple Service Provider) is the Next Step...
Be sure to make an appointment first... -

Please help me remove this playlist in my prius it's so annoying. The music isn't even on the phone anymore. Thank you
You've provided information stating that you attempted to delete the iphone from the bluitooth settings of your vehicle. I'm wondering if you as well as asking the blutooth to delete the iphone have you instructed the blutooth settins in your device to 'forget' this blutooth?
Once this blutooth is forgotten by the vehicle that should remove all settings that are memorized by the device.
