It says i already have information?!?
On the little bar at the bottom of iTunes when you are trying to sync your music, it says that i have a lot of "other" stuff on my ipod. Ive tried erasing all the stuff on it so that i can put my library of music on there but it justs deletes the audio files. I dont understand what the "other" thing means. Someone else plugged this ipod into a different computer so maybe they accidently put something on there that they shouldnt have. Ive tried restoreing it but it acted stupid when i tried that so..i think that may be the answer to my problems but im not sure. If you can help it would be much appreciated!!

There will always be a small amount of space taken up by "other" items which would be system files. If teh amount is large then try restoring the ipod and then re-syncing your files.

I am trying to open a recent document in Pages. It says I need a newer version of pages to open document. When I go to install pages it says I already have on this computer and to check software updates. There are no updates showing. Now what?? I can't open any of my documents.

When I try to open a spreadsheet on my Mac that I worked on with my iPhone, I get "You need a newer version of Numbers to open this spreadsheet." When I go to the App store, it says I already have it. I have v. 2.3 and can't seem to download newer version.
If you are running Mavericks, and the Mac App store says you are up to date, then you have Numbers 3.2 as well as Numbers 2.3. You are getting the "Need a newer version message because your Mac is trying to open the document using Numbers 2.3.
Launch Numbers 3, then open the document from within that app, or right click/control-click the document and choose Open with Numbers 3.x.

I can't set up a new itunes account - says I already have one
When I try to establish a new account with my email address, it says I already have one. When I say I forgot my password and request an email, the email is not received. When I answer the security question (my birthday), it says it fails.
How can I reset the account/email address so I can use my email address to establish a new account?
Thanks.If you mean iTunes libraries or computer user accounts, just create one. To make a new iTunes library on Windows, launch iTunes with the Shift key held down and choose Create Library.

when I try to sync my Ipad with my pc, I get a message to update to 11.1 or greater itunes version. when I tried to download the latest version of itunes, a message says i already have a greater version. can anyone help?

I am trying to hard sync my i phone to my MAC before I purchase a new phone. My MAC however has a pop up that says I already have 5 computers associated with this ID. So I went into i tunes store and had a list of 4 items, I deauthorized 2, my i pod & i pad, which left 2 items on the list. However I am still getting the same pop up saying I have 5 devices. Any ideas how to correct this?
Go to one of the other computers and use the Deauthorize Computer function. If you don't have physical or network access to any of them, use the Deauthorize All command documented in the article you asked this question from, and if that's not an option, the link to contact the iTunes Store staff at the bottom of it.

You should not receive this message if you dont have Acrobat 11 installed.
Try removing Reader 11 and check.

Open the iTunes application, go to the upper left to About iTunes and see what version it says you are running.
Did you actually run an updater?
Use Spotlight to see if you have multiple copies of the iTunes Application on your computer. -
I have had 4 mac computers and after years of downloading songs from itunes, I keep recieving a message that I need to set up an account. when I try to make a new account, i get an error that says i already have an account.
Have you tried checking the Store drop-down menu in the iTunes interface to see if you are signed in the existing account?

I had my computer repaired, and when I got it back I had to reinstall iTunes. Now iTunes won't authorize this computer because it says we already have 5 devices authorized, but this is the same computer. Does anyone know how I can fix this?
Deauthorizing won't delete anything, and all your purchased content is safe. You will just have to reauthorize any of the other computers that get deauthorized along with your computers old machine id.
To get your purchased content back on that computer, just use iTunes to redownload it (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US). Of course, music you ripped from CD or got from another source you'll need to copy those files back over. -

I set up my new HP Descjet 3054A . I had a problem becouse Apple give me CD as a driver. The thing was that CD wasn good for this printer becouse it was old software:) I had to go to Apple store so the specialist had to download me he wright driver. Becouse I didnt wannet to screw this up . When he downloaded driver I fired it up at house and thingworks perfect. The thing is when you download all the software from HP side . Then you have to connect your MAC to printer via USB . Fallow the instructions it should works. Worked for me. Good Luck!

I have a CC subscription and had it loaded on my Mac and my old MacBook pro. I bought a new macbook pro and turned off CC on my old laptop but when I try to load it on the new one it keeps saying I already have it activated on two devices. Help!

Anyhow, I am now trying to download things and it is saying I already have them in my system which is leading me to believe that all of my stuff is still on the computer. So my question is, if it is.. how do I retrieve it? And is there a way for me to get my snow leopard back without having the disc? I am trying to avoid going to an apple store because I cannot afford it. I really hope someone has some answers on this for me. Thank you for your time!
