It says i have bars, but i can't call, top up or text, all it keeps saying is error performing request, unkown request. what is wrong and what do i do
like it says in the title, I have a 3GS and i'm with O2, it is saying I have service/bars most of the time full bars, but when I go to text, call or even top up, it comes up with error performing request, unknown error. I can't receive calls or texts either, I can't use the phone side of my phone everything else like iPod, Internet etc is working fine, but nothing is working for my phone.
I've checked my sim card, I've made sure it is in properly, I've turned it off and on. nothing is working
what is wrong with my iPhone why is it not working, and how do I fix it.
Please someone give me some answers.
P.S. I have only had this phone for just over a year.
It sounds like an O2 problem, you'd have to get in contact with them on 0800 977 7337
Have you tried the SIM card in another phone?

My IMac , just started, taking a long time to get to the desktop. First I have a gray screen, than a gray screen with a gray globe, a blue screen and finally my desktop. Takes about 4 minutes. What is wrong and what do I do?
Once the desktop is up and the iMac ready to use, open Systeem Preferences (Apple menu) and click the Startup Disk item. In the new screen, make sure that OS X on your hard drive is selected in the top row - click it once to make sure. Then test.

Not all carriers will allow changes to the Caller ID. You need to contact your carrier with questions regarding Caller ID.

My bookmarks disappeared. The health report says I have 289, but I can't access them.
I opened firefox and all my bookmarks were gone. There is only 1 backup, it is from this morning and it contains only the default bookmarks. However, when I go to the health report it says I have 289 bookmarks, so it knows they are there somewhere.

Clearly it doesn't always, it has done it to me 3 times, once on this computer and twice on another.

I can see names of music/video files but says I can't locate files. Is there a way to re-download the files. When I go to the list it says that I've already downloaded the items to this computer. They're lost. Please help. Thanks.

I have an iPhone 3gs and today it started just vibrating instead of ringing and vibrating. It also has no sound what so ever. None of the apps or games have sound and I was wondering if anyone has any clue as to what could have caused this and how I can fix it.

I am facing a problem. I am preparing a business report. I have generate the report for customer orders that will expire in certain duration as well as the last Payment Method used by the customer.
For this I have to use to tables which are as follows:

ORDER_DETAIL Contains the order Id, Order Date, Payment Method.

Then you need to work at the works you don't want and figure out what distinguishes them from the records you do want. Then amend your WHERE clause accordingly.

If that doesn't help I would recommend you backup your files and do a fresh install of Snow Leopard (meaning you have to boot the Snow Leopard DVD and use Disk Utility to format the hard drive before proceeding). -
I am having problems with downloading files, what is wrong and what can I do?
When I try to download a file (ex: file from mediafire) when it gets the windows that lets me choose where to save the file, the window closes and FF automatically downloads the file to a certain place...(last place file was save too)

I have full bars but i can't connect to the internet. I've done all the usuall thing like reset the ipad reset my internet security but everytime it says "safari cannot open the page because it is not connected to the internet" Any ideas?
As with previous posts this is usually a DHCP issue and occurs frequently especially with routers connected to Cable Modems or those Micro-Cell towers.
Unplug all Routers, AirPorts (or other off brand Wi-Fi broadcast units) and any other Wireless broadcast unit that might provide you with a WDS (often other AirPorts feeding off the signal of the AirPort closest to Cable/DSL Modem) and best to totally power down the Unit affected; lastly either hold a reset button on Cable/DSL modem for 30-45 seconds or actually power it down if an option (not suppose to power down Cable Modems that have Telephony for some odd never completely explained to me reason).
Let Cable/DSL Modem re-boot till 'all green lights'. Then power up each device involved in order from closest to farthest waiting each time for completion of initiation. Micro-cell towers can take 10 minutes to completely re-boot and you must wait for across the board green lights in my experience. Even WDS can add a few minutes till all green on mother AirPort unit.
Only NOW may you re-start the offending device and see if it will connect. Works about 99% of the time!
