You only get one download. it is your responsibility to backup your music.

I am running Snow Leopard and have Itunes 10.6.3 and IOS 5.1.1 Iphone 4, yesterday I plugged in my phone and itunes poped up and says" this computer has been previously synced with an Iphone or other iOS device" this is my personal computer and no one has synced it and I lasted syned my phone August 23th.

Do you have enough funds in your bank account?
otherwise iTunes sometimes black lists card if there are too many fradulent purchases
Reason why they might black list a card is possibly you call in for alot of fradulent purchases
One more reason can be because iTunes does actually limit the amount you can change payment methods
Call AppleCare Phone support and have your call directed to iTunes Store

HT2589 When I try to download an update from the apple store it says my ID has been disabled. But I can log into my apple acct. with that ID with no problem.

The APP Store shows I have 2 updates. When I enter my ID it says that it has been disabled. Yet, I can log into my apple acct. with no problem.

I am about to pull my hair out. My itunes account has been disabled............or at least that's what it says everytime I want to update my apps....I can't do it. Then it sends me to a useless web address www.apples.com/itunes/storesupport/forassistance it never helps me. I've changed my password, etc. But I can't get my apps updated or the "Apple" in the sky to fix it...I don't know where to go for customer service....Any suggestions?

I updated the software on my iphone4 tonight and ran into this same endless loop - "itunes terms & conditions have been changed" - go to itunes, aceept - back to the "T&C have been changed message" with no ability to do anything in the app store until I accepted the new terms.
While not a very direct solution, I was able to finally accept the terms in a way that seem to register with apple by making a purchase through iTunes on my computer. This forced me through updating my payment information and updating my iTunes software to the latest edition (which I had not yet taken the time to do). After doing both of these, iTunes took me through the terms & conditions on two separate pages, but ultimately allowed me to purchase my song. Once I completed these steps, it fixed the problem on my phone, so now I can update my apps and download new ones without running into that loop.

My iPhone has been stolen and I therefore don't have one to access my backups. I need to access my notes can anyone help me access my notes.

My Phone was stolen last night. It has been taken poff line so it is untrackable so there is no chance of getting it back. I have the root file from my library/application support/mobilesync/ca3bc056d4da0bbf88b5fb3be254f3b7147e639c but can't view it without all the script being in the way and don't have time to pick out all the individual glyphs of code. Is there an easy way, without access to an iPhone to gain access to the information in the notes? Thanks for the help.

This software suggests that the notes don't exist.
However they do. I can see the notes in a .TXT file but they are burried in thousands of other keystrokes and illedgible.
We have used SQlite Database browser and can see a a few words from each note and the title of the note without all the script but can't access any more than that as clean text.

Do I have to have wifi when downloading a movie on my new iPad. It has cellular and wifi but I don't have wifi where I am at now.

You don't "need" Wifi, however unless your 3G is substantially fast and you have an unlimited data plan it will not be practical to try and download a movie through 3G.
Movies are really large files, 1.2 to 1.5GB in size double that for HD versions. So be prepared if you don't have an unlimited Data plan and a good connection to pay a lot and wait quite a while for the download.

- uninstall firefox

Identifying legitimate emails from the iTunes Store - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2075
If you are not 100% sure this was a legitimate email and you entered your credit card into some fraudulent site, call your credit card company and report this. You may have to have your credit card canceled and re-issued or run the risk of having to deal with fraudulent charges. If all you entered was your password and user information, log into the real iTunes account and change your password as soon as possible.

App says "downloaded" but I don't have it

somehow I accidentally deleted a free app that I had on my iPod (NY Times) and I can't "purchase" it now from the app store; where all the other apps either say FREE or have a price, it now says DOWNLOADED, and nothing happens when I click on it. I would like to get it back. What am I doing wrong?
