Did you respond to the verification email from Apple by clicking the Verify Now link? Make sure you check the email address you used to set up your iCloud account. Check the spam/junk folder as well as the inbox. If it isn't there, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage your Apple ID, sign in, click on Name, ID and Email addresses on the left, then to the right click Resend under your Primary Email Address to resend the verification email.

I have tried to change my Apple ID and was successful but when I go to the App Store my Apple ID appears as the old one. I no longer have a password for it. Now I can't download anything. What do I do?
Your apps were purchased under the old ID, so they will have to be deleted and re-purchased/downloaded under your new one.

10.5.8 is the highest OSX it can run.
TenFourFox is the most up to date browser for our PPCs, they even have G4 & G5 optimized versions...

i opened an icloud account for a new mini ipad to give them their own email, so they wouldnt be on my account, but when I came back to my account I could no longer get in my account with my password, so my account was gone....and now all the accounts are over lapped and dont work right, I want to get back to my original apple ID and everything I have bought over the last 6 years!!
what do I doUse the trackpad to scroll, thats what it was designed for. The scroll bars automatically disappear when not being used and will appear if you scroll up or down using the trackpad.
This is a user-to-user forum and most people will post on here if they have problems. You very rarely get people posting to say there update went smooth. The fact is the vast majority of Mountain Lion users will not be experiencing any major problems with the OS, or maybe with apps which are not compatible, but thats hardly Apple's fault if developers don't update their apps. -

first ask yourself if a SELECT FOR UPDATE is really necessary. If so, try to use an FOR UPDATE OF <attribute>. If there are many users accessing and updateing this table try NOWAIT Option. Your process will not be blocked on case of another lock. You will get error ORA-00054 and can do other things while waiting.
Keep in mind that locks will only released after COMMIT.
But remember to ask yourself. Row locking can be very time consuming. If you can avoid it.

IIce updated my credit card info. i have credits in my itune account, yet I can't buy anything. What am I doing wrong?
Have you tried going to Settings>iTunes & App Store, and signing out? Click on your Apple ID, then on Sign Out. Then sign back in again and try again.
Also, make sure you have closed the app: double-click the Home key and swipe up on it to close it. Then try again.
