Each of your email accounts must have its own password, regardless of any you use to login to your computer.
Which email provider are you using? Firewall? OS? Version of Thunderbird?

Exactly, what do you mean by "does not accept sim card"? Are you saying you purchased a carrier locked iPhone & you can't use a sim from a different carrier? If so, that's the way it works. Carrier locked iPhones can only be used/activated on the carrier's network the phone is locked to. Either return it for a refund or contact the carrier the phone is locked to to see if they offer official unlocking.

Application loader wants a 'hosted content package', but does not accept a package created by PackageMaker? What exactly does App Loader want?

Am attempting to create an in-app purchase with a few files embedded. It appears that the hosted content selection would be what I need, yet Application loader is not accepting a .pkg (or .mpkg) that PackageMaker has created after I loaded the files into PM. What am I missing?

I have the same problem. Apparently PackageManager is for creating bundles for the Mac and not for in-app purchases.
Im just about to quit on host the in-app purchase on apple and just creating my own server for that. Its very frustrating because there´s no documentation on how to create a iOS in app package. In the application Loader documentation is assumed that the package is already created.

Can get email from webmail just fine (same password), just not via Thunderbird.
Have already run two anti-virus scans. Have deleted the saved passwords and re-entered them as the program asked for them and renamed key.db & signons.sqlite (Read this in a forum on the web) and they rebuilt themselves. Still can not get email via Thunderbird.

Did you contact your email provider? They may have server issues.

FCS upgrade accepts upgrade key but does not accept original key?

I am trying to install FCS2 upgrade on a new MacBook Pro
I have the upgrade key as well as the original key
During the install it accepts the upgrade key and then a message appears asking for the original key
I enter the original key and get the message it is an invalid key
I have checked the original stickers the the characters of the key and they are exactly as entered

The most common issue is not entering the number exactly; e.g.; using a lowercase Lop an uppercase i for a number 1 or using a number 0 for for an uppercase letter O (or vice versa).
Also note that serial numbers from academic or not-for-resale versions are NOT eligible for upgrading. The older serial number must be from a legitimate retail version.
If you have a retail serial number and you're absolutely sure that you've entered it correctly, find your proof-of-purchase for the older version and contact Apple for a replacement serial number: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1861

I'm guessing it needs a password to update your system - that is, the administrator password. Most software needs this when you install it.

Tap on your id in Settings > Store and log out of the account and then log back in with the updated version so as to 'refresh' the account on it.

If your Apple ID was changed from your old account, you may have to change it back to your old account to be able to sign out and then change it back after that is done. Take a look at the article below for more information.

if i have to read any comment by matt n again i will throw up...in my mouth. i have gone all over google trying to figure out what the f ff did to me without my permission, i have updates turned off so there should be no prompting to restart, there should be a polite offer not a forced update. i am angry and so are a ton of people.

i believe i should have WEP or WAP connection for it to work?

Back up all data.
Launch the Keychain Access application in any of the following ways:
