It will not print correctly

it prints at 200+% of regular size. It only started with one of the recent updates to firefox. I can see in the "troubleshooting information" from the help menu, that the print scaling is at 2, but I'm not sure if that is the problem, or how to change that setting.

File > Page Setup = Scale
or using the orange Firefox button use Print > Print Preview window, see the Scale setting there

PDF will not print correctly from any app

I seem to keep on getting the same error everywhere I print on SL (from safari/firefox/preview etc etc)
It will usually print any lines or logos but miss all text?? I did have the dreaded adobe reader installed but have since removed it?
I am in urgent need of printing out some manuals for a class so in real trouble, help!

Where do these PDFs that do not print correctly come from? Are they downloaded from the internet or from email? Or do you create them yourself on your computer? If so, in which program?
Do some PDF files print correctly, but not others? Did you remove the dreaded Acrobat Reader before this problem developed or after? Did this problem develop only after you ungraded to a certain release of Snow Leopard or has it never worked in SL?
PDF is wonderful technology, but every so often there can be issues.

Firefox will not format my pages correctly for printing. All pages are split vertically in half.

Does that happen with all three printers?

Since the last update to ITunes 11, my jewel case insert will not print correctly. The song list is copies one song on top of another.

How do I back up my library onto a DVD? I currently have iTunes 11 and am using Windows Vista

I have the exact problem and reported it to Apple 12-6-12. They were able to duplicate the problem on a Windows computer there. It apparently works fine on Macs, but not Windows. They are looking into it and hopefully will issue a software fix soon.

Document will not print correctly

I have a Photosmart 3210xi All-in-One. Have had it connected to a desktop and everything prints fine. Recently was provided a laptop (Dell Latitude D505). Connected this up to the printer. Tried printing a document. The print preview looks good, but the document when printed does not. It appears (what little I know) to print out the "computereze"--i.e., all the commands, etc. Yesterday, it printed 8 pages of this before I stopped it.
How do I get it to print the document correctly?

reinstall using latest hp software from hp
website.

PDF files created in Acrobat Pro X for Mac will not print correctly on Windows - text is missing

I recently created a PDF file with pictures and texts in Acrobat Pro X. However, when I send it to my coworkers (who work on Windows computers), the printed file contains only images, and no text. I am using Century Gothic - a font that is installed on these Windows computers. When they open the files, they can see the text and everything exactly as it is meant to be. However, upon printing, the text disappears completely.
We are using a Konica Minolta Bizhub printer to complete these printouts. When I print from my computer (the Mac), the files print perfectly on this printer. However, when using the same printer, a Windows user cannot print the text in the PDF's.
Has anyone else run across this problem? I am thinking of trying to embed fonts, however it doesn't seem like it would make much of a difference (since the fonts show up fine on a Windows computer anyways). Is there a known issue with printing PDF's on a Konica Minolta printer?

The archive format you used embeds all fonts, as does Press and Print type job settings. The standard job settings does not embed all fonts and that might be where the problem was.

Print App will not print correctly on page?

I am using the HP forms, the calendar to be exact. When I print a month calendar, it cuts the edge of the calendar off, I have tried all the setting and it prints the same no mater which one I use. Is there a way to correct this so it prints in the center and doesn't cut anything off. Would really love to use this app.

Photoshop Elements 9.0.3 will not print correctly

When I first got this version of Elements, it worked fine when I was printing.
But for most of this year, every time I try to print a file, it only uses the middle of the page. It doesn't matter if I am using portait or landscape orientation, scaled to fit or original image size, etc. I have tried many things to get it to print as it should, but I'm at a loss.
Other programs print just fine.
I am using Windows 7 on a Dell Inspiron.

Hmmmm, that didn't do it (what you said would happen did happen, but it didn't solve the problem). But I think I figured it out. For some reason, there was a "custom print size" set to 6 X 4. I set that to "Scale to fit Media", and now it seems to be back to normal

Firefox will not print correctly. When printing from Firefox it looks like it thinks the paper size is a 3 x 5.

I tried re-installing Firefox 23.0.1. It printed fine for about 4 times and then it went back to the same problem.
In order to get everything to print out I need to scale to "shrink to fit" but then it is so small I can't read it.
I switched to Internet Explorer and everything prints fine.

Acrobat reader will not print what is showing on the screen

I created a business card in a graphic design program, exported it as a PDF file. When I open the pdf file in acrobat, it will display correctly on the screen, but will not print correctly.
When I click on the print icon, a box opens and shows a small preview of what is supposed to print. What shows in the small preview box is correct, but when it prints, it drops off text.
When I go back to the program that created the card, it will print correctly from that program. When I open the pdf file in Photoshop, it will print correctly in Photoshop. It just drops off text in Acrobat Pro or Acrobat Reader when printing.

This sounds very similar to the issue that I am having.
acrobat pro printing correctly ,same file with adobe reader printing grey instead of black.
Unfortunately I have not yet gotten any feedback, and your post being over 45 days without a response doesn't bode well for my issue either.

CR2008 SP5 Labels not printing correctly

I've got an issue were labels are not printing correctly to a Zebra printer. I'm using Crystal Reports 2008 SP5. The problem is the width is 10cm and the length is 7.5cm but Crystal is automatically changing this to landscape orientation which doesn't print correctly then. From reading older threads, a lot of people have had similar issue but according to this thread - CR 2008 V 12.3.0.601 Labels will not print correctly the issue should be resolved in SP5 but it's still not printing out in the correct orientation despite the print preview looking perfect.
I've tried checking the No Printer option and the Dissociate Formatting Page Size and Printer Paper Size option and pretty much every other option I've seen mentioned but I still cannot get the label to print in the correct orientation. Has anyone succesfully got this working?

Embedded fonts in pdfs not printing correctly

Since updating to 10.5, I've run into a really annoying problem: when printing pdfs, many embedded fonts will not print correctly. Korinna, for example, prints as something totally different. I've tried using both Preview and Adobe Reader, and no luck. Help!

To reset the printing system:
Choose System Preferences from the Apple menu.
Choose Print & Scan from the View menu.
Hold down the Option key while clicking the "-" (Remove printer) button. If no printers are currently added, hold down the Control key while clicking in the box that appears above the "+" (Add printer) button, then choose Reset printing system… from the contextual menu.
When you've done the above you'll need to re-add the printer by clicking the + (Add printer)
