It won't stop - the amount to back up keeps going up

Hi all,
I set up Time Machine a few days ago and it worked flawlessly until this morning. I noticed a small (a few mail messages and some internet history) backup had taken over half an hour and STILL said "finishing," so I stopped it. Then, I clicked "back up now" to see if it would work. The icon won't stop spinning and it keeps saying it's almost done (like, 5GB of 5GB), but the number keeps going up. Two minutes from now, it'll say "6GB of 6GB."
I downloaded TMBuddy, and here's my log for the current backup:

There's an error.... I'm thinking that's the problem? What should I do?

I got home from school at 2 and checked the computer - it still said "finishing backup." Saw your post, changed the name, and restarted. I clicked "backup now" about an hour ago. The backup started at 19.2MB, and right now it's at 36.0GB. Kind of nervous... Here's the log for the current backup:

Backing up to: /Volumes/Time Machine/Backups.backupdb
Reloading changed Time Machine preferences
No pre-backup thinning needed: 100.0 MB requested (including padding), 348.11 GB available

Here is the screen shot, just the top half, there are another 10 pages, but I guess this should enough for you to have an idea of waht is going on, bit small I am afraid. No, I don't have any apps setup to run when I open my computer, the kernel, varies between 290 and 305 per cent ish.
Would that PRAM thing help ? I think it may be the computer itself, well something inside, as this the first time that the fan has ever started running since I have this computer, even when I have 3 or 4 apps running.

How do I extend the amount of rings before it goes to message bank?

I have read you press the phone symbol and type #61# and press call on the keypad. Then on the text that appears on your screen on the forth line after the numbers you put the amount of seconds you want your phone to ring for. I don't have a forth line with numbers, what do I do please? My phone only rings four times.

I just looked up Telstra technical support and they say to type **62*(then number of seconds :15, 20, 25, or 30)#
I tested my phone and it worked.

ITunes won't open the library I backed up to my ext. HDD?

I recently reformatted my windows 7 Acer laptop, my itunes library was all consolidated and I copied the iTunes folder from music to the hdd, after reinstalling windows I downloaded iTunes, copied and replaced the itunes folder in music with the one on my drive, opened it with shift and chose the library but iTunes will not open my library it just opens to a empty iTunes? All my media is in the folder and will open and play in iTunes if I double click on a individual song, movie ECT.. How do I get my itunes back?

I am having the exact same problem. Checked firewall and it does not appear to be the problem. I have uninstalled and then reinstalled and the bar to load iTunes will get about halfway and then go away and I am left with a white page with iTunes Store as the only script. It was happening last evening as well...

When my Ramp stops the set pops back to its original position...?

I have a set to which I have attached a Ramp behaviour to swivel it on it's Y axis.
Its works well, but at the 10 second point when the Ramp Y swivel ends, the set jumps suddenly back to its original position.
How can I get the set to keep its position as it is at the end of the Ramp behaviour?

Or you can use the Spin behavior. The object will stay where it is after the spin is finished.

Over the past several weeks while browsing Firefox i got a re-direct to a window similar to a Google search not a re-direct to a particular site. I would just arrow back and keep going until it would repeat.

I don't know what version of Firefox I was using. I think it was 4.0 I have just downloaded the newest version 4.0.1 and will see if this continues or has been fixed. It has never done this while browsing with I. Explorer so I assume it to be a browser issue. One of the blogs I read said it was a Firefox issue.
The re-direct would occur usually right after I landed at a new web site or it might occur after I started browsing the site. I don't think it is a virus issue. I use Vipre home edition. The page looked just like a search listing window just like you would get in Google after searching for a subject. I would just arrow back to the site I was at and start again. Sometimes I would have to repeat this several times until it went to the correct site. Any ideas?

Can I stop the "Attempting to Rebind" after EnvMgr goes AWOL...

In the last few weeks I have had the Environment Manager (for development)
go AWOL in as many weeks.
During a restart - after cleaning up (stop/id) all other Forte processes - I
run into virtual memory limitations - and the restart fails.
A larger virtual memory quota (doubling the pagefile quota actually) did the
trick.
However the quota is too large to be kept and I have reverted to 400,000
blocks (OpenVMS talk for about 200MB).
The problem appears to be caused by all this attempted rebinding.
"With Forte Release 3, this rebinding process is asynchronous" (see
TN11537).
Q: Can I disable the attempted rebind so to reduce memory needs on a restart
after the EnvMgr goes AWOL?
Supplementary Q: If so - How?
