It wont let me open a text message.

Heya all,
Something that's been bugging me for a few weeks now. Sometimes when I recieve a text message on my Curve, When i want to open it, it just doesnt open... XD It doesnt do it all the time but randomly it will and it's very annoying.
Anyone can help with some suggestions?

this literally just happened to me,
i took the battery out for 30 secs replaced and tried opening it again and it worked.
if it doesn't, go to sms menu and choose contacts name you got the message from as if you were typing them a new message. it'll open up the conversation screen and you can see it. not exactly a problem solver, but a way around it

Close out of the message app, then double tap the home button and completely close out of it.
Then do a rest, hold down the home/sleep button together until you see the apple logo and then release, then wait for the phone to boot back up. Then check message app again.

First thing to try is to reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider should one appear until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.

I open a text message to respond and my screen freezes

I keep getting the "low on space" message pop up, and when I went to open a text message it would tell me that there is not enough space and I need to delete apps. I deleted some works in the text dictionary and then suddenly my phone started to act up. It wont let me delete blank works in my dictionary. Also, when I go to open up a text and respond I type in one letter and my screen freezes. When I finally get it to the home page the keyboard is still there and is making everything slow and or not work. I have to keep turning my phone on and off. I have already taken out the battery 3 times already and let it sit.
Anyone have advice on what to do???

Your internal storage is getting too low. These phones require a little bit of maintenance from time to time.
Check your internal storage. Settings > sd card & phone storage
Clear cache from the applications. Settings > applications > manage applications > all tab > menu button > sort by size. You will have to go through the apps one by one and pressing the white clear cache button. Browser, market and games seem to be the usual suspects.
Backup your text messages to the sd card or send to an email address. Search the Market for sms backup. If you want to save mms messages, you will likely have to choose a paid application.
After you have backed up the text messages, delete as many threads or individual messages as you can stand.
Clear call history. Not sure if there is an application that will back that up for you. I use Lookout which has that as option.
Move what applications you can to the sd card. The steps will be similar to the clear cache steps above.
After completing all that go back to get your internal storage level and hopefully be amazed how much space you have gained.

I have an important pages document on my macbook but pages wont let me open it because it says its blank?

i was just working on it-and my hard drive was pretty much full so i was about to delete some files to make room so i can save the document-but before i could do that, pages decided to auto save it for me but there was no room to save it, so it said could not save: revert changes. so i clicked revert changes and it said unable to revert, document must close or something like that and it closed the document for me. but i opened it again as normal and it opened again as normal.
so then i took a lot of my files off my laptop to make room to save it, but when i tried to save it, the same thing happened, but this time when i tried to open it as normal, it said it cant be open because it is a blank file when it so clearly isnt? is there anyway i can restore this because i dont see why my macbook is doing this to the file when i made room for it to be saved, and even when there wasnt room-my macbook saved it anyway. no thats theres room it says its blank and cant open- when i right click on it and click show package contents, it comes up with 3 items: data folder which is blank, index.zip file which it wont let me open to unzip, and a metadata folder which is also empty. please help, thank you.

I'm having the same problem on my iPhone 4 and on iTunes 10.3 for Windows. It just began today; I've been purchasing content (music and apps) on the store via my phone and PC for months without problems. I can view products on the Store, but when I try to purchase something or view my account details and subsequently enter my password, I'm told either 'Cannot connect to the iTunes Store' (on my iPhone) or 'We're sorry, we cannot complete your request on the iTunes Store at this time. After speaking to someone on 133 MAC, I've ruled out my internet connection - I have perfect connectivity to other services on my laptop and phones using Wifi and on my phone using 3G, but the problem remains - and my password: I've reset it to something else, but now I can't sign into my account on my phone at all. That issue can be caused by an extension that isn't working properly.
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

That's strange. It's possible that you are having a problem with some Firefox add-on that is changing your Firefox's normal behavior. Have you tried disabling all add-ons (just to check), to see if Firefox goes back to normal? Also have you tried uninstalling & re-installing flash? Trying to restore after getting a new hard drive. I can see the backup on the Time Capsule and on the correct date but it is Greyed out. That is it wont let me open it and restore the machine. Have tried also Migration Assistant, no luck.

At startup hold down the Command+Option/Alt+r keys until you see a globe on the screen. Then use disk utility to partition and format the drive HSF+ and then select Reinstall Mac OS X. whatever version of OS X that originally came on your system will be installed and then you can upgrade back to Mavericks.

Have you tried a reset ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider if it appears), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

Same here on a brand new 13" Macbook Pro (Mid 2012) running Mountain Lion. DVDs play fine using VLC media player but not the default player that comes with Mountain Lion. Will visit my Apple store next week.
