IT0016 Feature CONTR, MPV34300

Hi Experts,
We're currently faced with this situation in IT0016 wherein, we would like to remove the value defaulting in the Notice Period for ER...
LA/LE - 2A/2E - PA/PE - KF - KA - CT being the standard, our current value is --> / - / - 3/012 - _ - 10 - 01
3 months proby period and 1 month notice to EE, notice to ER is left blank but the PA30 screen for IT0016 is defaulting the same value as the "notice to EE"...
We're using module pool MPV34300/2000 instead of the standard IT0016 module pool MP001600/2000... Doesn't feature CONTR control MPV34300? Is there anyway we can remove the defaulting even if we're using MPV34300?

Feature Contr in PA: Facing issues once request is transported

I am facing a peculiar problem,
In development server: Define Contract types, Determine periods and contr feature have been configured and on changing the employee subgroup to permanent from probationer the feature Contr is reflecting properly and the appropriate contract type reflects in infotype 0016
E.g. if employee hired in 01.01.2006 as probationer and confirmed to permanent (via action ) on 01.01.2007. A new infotype 0016 record is created with effect from 01.01.2007.
The corressponding transport requests where transferred to quality server, the transport had a warning Rc4 ( Insert into view: Key NOTPC of Table T7INZ3 is not part of view V_T7INZ3 (300N6).
Now in the quality server the feature Contr doesn't refelct the notice period correctly.
Can anyone help me with this issue and what needs to be done to rectify the error

I am facing a problem with the CONTR feature too. Please can someone help me out . My requirement is as given below:
The Contract Elements defaulted for- On Hiring u2013Probation period is 6 Months and Notice period is 2 weeks for all except Managers which 1 Month.
The Notice Period for Confirmation Action is 2 Months for all except Managers which is 3 months.
My queries are :
1) How do I make two different defaults, one for hiring action and the other for the Confirmation Action.
2) what is the meaning of KF & KA . Basically what is the meaning of EE and ER they refer here?
3) Where do we give the Unit of probationary period. iwhich is in PA/PE

Features table

Dear Freinds
could any one let me know what are all the available structures availabe to define when we are creating a custom features. i.e i would like to
know all the availabe structures to add in my feature. Could we know any table availabe for it.
As i could find only the structure (P549B), as i know the following structure for
PME04 for the feature CONTR
PME01 for the feature TMSTA.
so i would like to check all the available structures.

Taxonmoy with date "valid until" - "valid from"

Hi,
We have a repository with xml documents. We would like to make a taxonomy, which displays documents where the value of the property "valid from" is later then the current date and the property "valid until" is earlier then the current date.
In the current taxonomy builder you can only select a fixed date.
Can we enter a variable like TODAY() or something else?

Hi,
Hendri is absolutely correct. To have the valid until field appear on IT0016, the contract types have to be marked as fixed-term contracts in table V_T547V.
Second part can be handled via dynamic actions. A routine will calculate the date equal to 2 months after contract start date. Then, dynamic action would call this routine and default the valid until date with the calculated date. A sample code:
F ZCONTRACT (ZDYNAMIC_ACTIONS)
W P0016-CTEDT=RP50D-DATE1
Here, ZCONTRACT is the routine in program ZDYNAMIC_ACTIONS which would calculate the date and store it in RP50D-DATE1. The next step defaults the valid until date to the calculated date. Your technical team should be able to create the routine.
Feature CONTR is used to default contract types and other fields like probationary period, notice period etc.

Contract Elements Dynamic Action

Hello All,
I've put a dynamic action together which requires copy-creating a new IT0615 HE Contract Data record when the IT0016 Contract Elements 'valid until' field is amended. Currently, it seems to trigger IT0615 when any field is amended, not what I'm after... Can anyone help?

Hi,
Check the configuration in table V_T547V for contract types 02 and 03. You need to have the "Indicator for fixed-term contract" as checked for the two contract types. Only then, you would be able to see the "Valid until" field (P0016-CTEDT) on IT0016 and the code given in my previous post should work. Also, make sure the test employee gets default contract types as 02 or 03. There may be some decisions to have different default contract types based on country grouping/employee group/subgroup etc. in feature CONTR (transaction PE03). Let us know.

Contract elements - Notice period during probation

Hi Experts,
I have configured feature CONTR to help default values in Contract Elements (IT0016). However I can never default the value for "Notice period during probation" (PRONP). System always default the value to '10' (even when I dont have a value '10' maintained in V_T547T). Does any know how to change this?
From the feature documentation, it seems like the feature does not have a defaulting rule for this field...

what does your feature look like as I would guess that you have got it slightly wrong.
The return matrix of the feature has the following struct
   &CONTR=LA/LE-ZA/ZE-PA/PE-KF-KA-CT
    It's the explaination for KF & KA that you are interested in.
These letters stand for the following:
o   LA Number for continued pay
o   LE Unit for continued pay
o   ZA Number for sick pay supplement period
o   ZE Unit for sick pay supplement period
o   PA Number for probationary period
o   PE Unit for probationary period
o   KF Key for notice period for ER accdg. to T547T
o   KA Key for notice period for EE accdg. to T547T
o   CT Key for contract type accdg. to T547V

Problem with infotype 16

Hello.
I expose my problem.
We Need The InfoType 16 'for each person With The fieldname LFZFR. In This feld we include the days to pay the Illness. For ex. we pay 42 Days. You Will include 15 days.
This is the field we need for reporting. That's because this report does not want to have access to the payroll, only the master of time and personnel, so it is only informative. My question is whether the field can turn affect payroll or have no consequences.
I changed the property from the PE03 CONTR, adding to the property MOLG my country grouping 04 Spain. In Spain I've added the subfeature ANSVH, so depending on the type of employment relationship show me a specific number of days.
But when I add the ANSVH, I can not display the menu of possible values contained in this sub-feature.

Hi,
First of all wht is the crityeria for confirmation. like that ofter 6months employees got confirmed.. In that scenario you can create contract elements infotype 0016 with the help of dynamic action and system will triger to create infotype Monitoring of tasks 0019 automatically. But before that you have to maintain all these conditions in IMG and also have to maintain feature CONTR.
In SAP information systemthere is a standard report for Monitoring of task.

while creating the Infotype : 16 (Contract Elements) , the field ER Notice Period is getting default value as 13 days .
Please let me know where the setting has to be made .

In Infotype 0016 in the field Employee and Employer Notice period 1Month and 2Months Notice period is only available, but *we want to add 3months and more as well .
Can anybody suggest me, that how to add this Notice Period.

Hi,
If it is not defaulted then follow the below steps.
check feature CONTR through tcode PE03. Check the return value for your Org assignment. The return value should have the format.
LA/LE-ZA/ZE-PA/PE-KF-KA-CT
These letters stand for the following:
o   LA Number for continued pay
o   LE Unit for continued pay
o   ZA Number for sick pay supplement period
o   ZE Unit for sick pay supplement period
o   PA Number for probationary period
o   PE Unit for probationary period
o   KF Key for notice period for ER accdg. to T547T
o   KA Key for notice period for EE accdg. to T547T
o   CT Key for contract type accdg. to T547V
Your concern would be KF and KA
now they should be like
LA/LE-ZA/ZE-PA/PE-12-12-CT
make it
LA/LE-ZA/ZE-PA/PE-13-13-CT
Other values remain same you only change value for KF and KA from 12 to 13

That is the date for that employee started working, means his hired date.

Defaults for IT0016 for China in ECC 6.0 Version

I have a requirement to default the values (Contract Type, Probationary period, EE & ER Notice Period) in IT0016 for China in ECC 6.0 Version. We tried to create these defaults through CONTR feature, but failed to achieve the solution.
Actually, MP001600 screen is been replaced by MP321100 for China in the upgraded version of ECC by SAP.
Could anyone help us with the solution, how to create defaults for this infotype 16 for China in ECC 6.0 (for screen MP321100)....

Yes Mr. Kumarpal,
SAP has provided new screen MP321100 for China in ECC 6.0. If you want further details, please check in the SAP Note 1286584.
Because of this new change, CONTR feature is not working properly, as expected for china. Please find the details of the Note below.

AP and AR contra

Hi All,
I understand that currently B1 doesn't have a contra feature for AP and AR.That is, if i have a customer (Customer code "ABC") who is also my vendor (Vendor code "XYZ"), then i can contra my AP to the vendor "XYZ" with the AR from the customer "ABC".
I need to implemiment this feature for a customer.
If anyone has done this kind of job before, your guidence and help will be greatly appreciated.

there is not feature thats not there in sap.in vendor master and in customer master we have a field called customer and vendor respectively.there in vendor master you give the customer nr(vendor who is your customer) and it will contra itself,.try it.

Forms Generator in Designer - pro's & contra's ?

There's not much to pro<>con here. The Forms Gen features are just about identical in Des 6i / 9i / 10g. What is different is what you get out -- Forms 6i/9i/10g source code. So the pro<>con is more what style of Forms you want and what version of iAS you want to deploy on. Check the Developer - Forms part of OTN for Forms version differences and features.

Account Assignment Features through Transaction PP01

Hi All,
Using PP01 Tansaction i try to do the Account Assignment feature for a Org. unit. When i enter both company code and personal area it is giving an error message as "Company code 0001 has been set in the structure above"
Let me know how can i avoid this.

If you want to activate inheritance, enter the value 'X'.
