IT0077 Ovrview

Hello All
We have uploaded all the HRSP's for 2007 US legal change for EEO reporting and mapped Old Ethnic Orgin data with New Ethnicity and Race Code's.
I can create new IT0077 records for new and old employee's but when i do overview for IT77, it is taking values from P0077-RACKY (Old ethnic origin) which we do not maintain for new records, hence any new record showing blank in overview.
Does any one having same thing or em i missing anything there (Which i dont think so).
As we use SAP standard for reporting, we decided not to maintain RACKY as its old and if overview going to use this field then wats the use of new ETHEN and RACE code's?

Our reqt is to not allow any selection on Race Category ( the Checkboxes in a TableControl) for Ethnicity(E1 - Hispanic/Latino). For this I had put in my Validations in the AFTER_INPUT Method of the BAdI HRPAD00INFTY. But once it hits the error, the Race Category fields go into display mode & preventing me to correct the error. Would like to know if itsn't me alone with this issue..

For this in webdynpro I have imported sap.com_SAP_ESS_1. Do you have any idea which component I need to modify in this?

No Webdynpro Devlopment required. You can add the field from the Portal personization in the iview.

How To Config IT0077 to use new screen 2010?

We are installing new support package that includes changes to IT0077 for new legal changes for reporting requirements to the Gov. Note: 435204 says that changes to table T505R and T505S should come in with the note - the changes are not in these tables as the note specifies. How do i set or configure the system to use the new 2010 screen that includes the new fields for this reporting requirement? Is there another note that should be installed? Do i do the configuration myself and add the new values?

Error coming while modifying data in infotype through HR_INFOTYPE_OPERATION

I have created a report which reads a excel file fom the system and then upload data in infotype 0077 through HR_INFOTYPE_OPERATION. In this report first I check if the record exists in IT0077 for a particular employee , if not then creates a new record with the input file data and if the records exists then I need to modify that record.
But the problem is that on updation the function module HR_INFOTYPE_OPERATION always return an error that "Infotype doesnot exist", although its exists in the system.
Why this error comes when once I excuted the report with a pernr number for creation and then I execute with teh same data to modify it, it gives an error in modification.

When we create we have to use INS in the code and when we modify we have to use Operation MOD

Adhoc Query Report

Hi SAPients..
I have a n issue in Adhoc Query
In Adhoc query report ( PQAH ), X person having authorization to see the folder Additional Personal Data (IT0077), but Y person can access the Adoc but could not see the folder (IT0077). Please guide what should I do to make the Y person can view the (IT0077) folder??

What I undertand is as follows:
Person is having access to view IT77 and Y person is having access to t code - PQAH (Ad Hoc Reprot). you want to give Y person access of IT77.
In this case you would need to add the concerned role to y person's SAP user id by which he ll get acces to maintain IT77 ands also can download the report. The role name you can get from your security team or GRC team.

Adhoc Query error AQ_AD_HOC 221

Hi All,
I have added 7 fields with char1 as value in th it0077 group in the additional filed. My problem is while using the adhoc query output when i select only the infotype 77 fields i am getting the following error
Mesage ID: AQ_AD_HOC Message number: 221
Error when generatimg the report (see long Text).
but when i select any other infotype fields and also 77 infotype fields then its coming fine. I dont know where i m doing wrong.
I have used LDB PNPCE, and in the coding part of the additional fields i am using rp_provide_from_last.
Please let me know where i am going wromg.

Hi,
There may be many reasons for that issue. Can you please debugg the code to more deeper. Put break point in perform generate_report in the Fm AQ_INT_SAVE_QUERY_DEFINITION.
Procedure
If the selection screen is too large, you need to reduce the number of your selections.
Make sure that the assigned InfoSet is correct. The name of the assigned InfoSet is stored in the menu option 'Extras -> Template Information'.
Output at least one field. Otherwise you will not be able to save or generate reports.
If you do not have this problem, execute the query using the 'Output' function.
Otherwise, there is an error in the InfoSet Query.

Link to OAF page from workflow notification

I am trying to give a link in a workflow notification to the customer details page in R12. I decompiled the Controller classes of the customer pages to get the parameters that the page needs.
The page I am trying to access is defined as a function , AR_CUS_OVR with webhtml call :

I got the url for this page using the following function :
FND_RUN_FUNCTION.GET_RUN_FUNCTION_URL
(25779,660,21623,null,'HzPuiPartyId=32551,cusType=ORGANIZATION,HzPuiSubjectPartyType=ORGANIZATION')
When i paste this URL in the browser, if I am not already logged in , I am directed to the login page and then I get an error :
You have insufficient privileges for the current operation. Please contact your System Administrator.
If i am logged in, i directly get the above error.
I searched the DB to see where this message is thrown but did not find any match. It's probably thrown from some OAF page.
The function is attached to the menu and my user has the required responsibility. I can access the page if i login and navigate to the page.
It's probably the URL , but I am not able to lay a finger on the problem. Please let me know if I am missing something here.
Does anyone know when this error is raised.

I was trying to access the page by pasting the link directly in the browser. I guess that's why it was throwing the indufficient privileges error.
If I click the link from the notification, it tries to bring up the page. But throws a sql exception about invalid number.
I checked the controller code in ArCusOvrCO.java. If the parameter cusType is null, the controlller invokes a method to get custType by calling amethod in the AM which executes a sql statement, SELECT party_type from HZ_PARTIES where party_id = : 1
This parameter HzPuiPartyId is used for this. It looks like all the parameters are passed as null even though I am passing them .
Is the following way the right way of passing multiple parameters to the function :
FND_RUN_FUNCTION.GET_RUN_FUNCTION_URL. I am just passing a comma separated list.
'HzPuiPartyId=24553,cusType=ORGANIZATION,HzPuiSubjectPartyType=ORGANIZATION,HzPuiPartyName=EOM40,HzPuiObjectPartyType=ORGANIZATION,HzPuiObjectPartyId=24553'

To stop Auto population of a field

For UK,in IT0077,there are fields for veteran status.The non-veteran field is getting auto populated.I want to stop its auto population.How to do that?

Module pool - MP007740
Form set_vet_status.
Makes that field checked - "Non-Veteran".
This form is called in module pool MP007720 - Module P0077A - PERFORM set_ver_status.
In summary, it is a standard code and should not be changed.

SQ01 - Limiting Matchcode Box Results?

I have a query that uses logical database PNP. One field I'm using for selection is P0077-RACKY, ethnic origin. When a user using the F-4 matchcode box on this selection field, the results include ethnic origin codes for several country codes. Since we a USA organization only, is there a way to limit the results in the F-4 list to country grouping 10 ?
When the dialog box pops up, I can go to the restrictions and enter 10 which will give me the results I want. But, I don't see a reason for users to have to do this step. I'd like the results restricted to country group 10 up front.
The MOLGA is set in user parameters to 10, but that still doesn't help. We also have LND and PNI set to US.

Field RACKY includes a foreign key check for MOLGA which is populated from table T001P . Unless you populate personnel area WERKS (which is associated with a country), you continue to see all values for RACKY. Before we invoke the screen which includes RACKY , we should have personnel area in memory for us to restrict RACKY list. That is why we have a restricted list for RACKY field in IT0077 (WERKS is populated before we create/change) and not in a screen without WERKS populated.

HR_INFOTYPE_OPERATION - 'MOD' Operation

I am using HR_INFOTYPE_OPERATION FM for changing a infotype depending on the user input.
This FM does not change the record with modify operation (MOD).
Error while trying modify operation is as shown below:
"Infotype does not exist"
The infotype does exist with a single record in the system and I am passing the whole key to the record. I am trying it with infotype 0077.
Any idea why it's not able to modify an existing infotype. If anyone of you have ever used this FM for modify operation then pls let me know.

Selection screen for EEA report

Hi guys
Q1 - I need help on understanding what should be inputs filled in selection screens fields of EEA report (WEIMS) for Canada :
LEAVE Definition section - what does this field mean on selection screen - should we be entering Leave of absence action here or Separation / termination actions?
Q2 - in my system there are aproximately 200 terminations in system for reporting period 2013, but not sure why term report of WEIMS is pulling only 10 .. and most of those PERNRs dont appear in error log either.

If the data of an employee is correct (as per data elements below) , the PERNR , his IT0077 , IT0008 salary, NOC code etc are picked up in Employee file including Full time, part time and temporary employees:
IT0001 has Work contract field maintained.
IT0016 Contract type Infotype is maintained.
IT0077 infotype is maintained with correct CMA code.
All Permanent and Full-time employees on LOA will appear in Employee file.
Term FileEmployees having work contract as Temporary will qualify to appear in this file, if following data criteria are met:
IT0001 –work contract= Temporary
IT0016- Contract Type = Fixed term with end date
IT0077 infotype is maintained with correct CMA code.
This file is NOT providing us information about employees who got terminated in reporting year , instead this pulls up Contract start and end date for Fixed term contract Temporary employees.
All Temporary employees on LOA will appear in Term file.
Promo fileIF any employee has had Org change with reason as Promotion ( what we define in Selection screen) in reporting period , this file will pull up data of the employee with promotion date, irrespective of Employee type (permanent / temp etc) and employment status ( active / inactive/ withdrawn) if following data paramenters are maintained appropriately:
IT0001 – work contract is filled
IT0016 – Contract type is maintained
IT0077 maintained with correct CMA code.
Error file Will have all employees having incorrect / missing data for selection screen.

AAP and EEO Report by Ad Hoc Query

My client went live with basic modules of SAP Jan 2007. The problem is with AAP EEO Report. We will develop ABAP report later. For now we want to generate the AAP EEO report by using Ad Hoc Query. We are storing the EEO and AAP codes in IT1610 for Job. If I have to build query what is the best way :
1- I tried an infoset with PNPCE and apart from the basic PA infotypes I selected 1000, 1001 and 1610 for job. But when I select EEO and AAP category in output I dont get the actual data. I know I am doing something wrong here but dont know what ?
2- If I will start a table join with IT0000, IT0001,.etc and V_T5U13 .will it work ?
Any other suggestions how can we address this issue temporarily by ad hoc query ?

First, do not try and reinvent the wheel...the EEO-1 and AAP reports are standard supplied SAP reports and can be found under Human Resources --> Personnel Management --> Administration --> Infosystem --> Reports --> Administration US --> Compliance.
The EEO-1 report is changing for 2007 and the latest support packs must be installed to give you the new tables and table entries, features and report layout needed for this year. See SAP Notes 976273, 435204 and 986115. The IT1610 itself changes as do the definitions, so the support pack installation is a must,
If you still want to try to get this information via Ad Hoc Query, you will need to utilize a PCH based Infoset. Create this based on the object Position. The position is your link between the person with HR Master Data and the Job with job related data such as IT1610. With this infoset, you can do the reporting on the EEO Job classes from IT1610 and the Ethnic groupings from IT0077-Additional Personal Data for the employee and gender from IT0002.

ACE with TACACS+ Issue

Trying to get ACE module and IOS devices to work with TACACS+. I have ACS v3.2.
The "optional" syntax does not work. Any idea if the argument is valid for the ACS version ?
