IT0106 and RPUAUD00

We have recently turned on logging changes for IT0006, IT0021 and IT0106. When we run RPUAUD00 the changes for 6 and 21 are reported but the data saved in table PA0106 does not show. Is there something else that needs to be done to have 106 data show on the report?

How did you activate change log - Either configuring thru V_T585A, B & C or by changing the technical settings for table PA0106 ?
RPUADUD00 works based on configuration in table T585A, B & C.

Multiple lines in Ad Hoc query

I am working on a query for the Benefits team. In my output with other details I also want the SSN no. of Dependents. The SSN no is stored in IT0106 and the dependent information in iT0021 and IT0167. I created an Infoset and added IT0106, when I select SSN as output I get 4 lines for each dependent. E.g. one employee has 2 child, so the output has total 5 rows including the employee. How can i prevent multiple rows to be displayed.

Try mapping/joining the begin date & end date from IT0021 & IT0106.

Changed data display

RPUAUD00 is only option to view all changes as it looks for all short and long term change logs.

Unable to bringup IT106 screen in IT21 for USA

Hi All
We are using MP002100 and screen 2010 for IT0021. I am trying to store the SSN details of the Family Members. I understand that this can be done by activating the respective fields in IT0106 and I have done it. But now I am unable to pull up the sub screen MP010600 screen 0100 for USA. I tried using the feature P0106 by specifying the DYNNR as 0100, MOLGA as 10 and the left the screen as Blank.
Additional Info:-We also have MP010600 Screen 0200. If I give the MOLGA 10 under screen 0200 in feature P0106, The filed is coming up in IT21 but the Filed Lable reas SIN, which is for Canada.
Please tell me how to pull up MP010600 screen 0100 for MOLGA 10

Do you maintained the feature IVWID and the steps in Personnel Management Personnel Administration Customizing Procedure Infotypes Assign infotype views
Eg. VIND=10 (value from IVWID), IType=0021, View= MP010600 and screen 0100.

Using HR_INFOTYPE_OPERATION to update IT0021 and IT0106

We're trying to update dependent data information using FM hr_infotype_operation but it doesn't seem to be working properly for IT0106. It does work for changes i make for IT0021, though.
We have the requirement to modify an existing dep record, delimit the record, or add a new dependent record depending on some other logic.
I know in the FM, you can specify a secondary structure. In the case of IT0021, it's secondary structure would be IT0106.
I'm passing these fields to my p0106 structure:
pernr
subty
begda
endda
aedtm
uname
perid
but i'm not able to update the P0106 record. Any help would be appreciated.

ok great, i believe that fixed it. i think i had a couple of problems that when fixed separately didn't work, but when I put them altogether, it worked.
my p0106 struc was not declared properly and the view identifier was not set (this pernr's was indeed 10).
I need to fill in the rest of the p0106 struc from the existing record and it should work fine.

Logical time in deleted time events - RPUAUD00

Dear All,
We are using standard report RPUAUD00 to read deleted time events (Infotype 2011) from system. In certain cases, deletion entries are displayed without any entry for field LTIME (Logical Time). Can any one throw some light, as of why and how this LTIME entry is not logged in change log?

Table for the report RPUAUD00 Logged Changes in Infotype data

I have a query with the program RPUAUD00 Logged changes in Infotype Data. In which table stores the details of the program RPUAUD00. for example in the 1st period there is a LWP record for the employee. If in the 2nd period the LWP entered in 1st period has deleted, in the log the LWP displays for 1st period new field contents, Action Indicator I. The deleted information displayes in Old field contents with the Action Indicator D. We want to know in which table the LWP insert and LWP delete (d) details are stored.
This information required to create a report for ESI. In the report No of days (payroll processed for) has to mention. To know the no of days need to access the report RPUAUD00. From the RPUAUD00 the details of LWP insert and delete can be known.

Logged changes in Infotype Data are stored in cluster table PCL4 ID LA and SA for employee and LB and SB for applicant. Maybe L is for longterm and S for shorterm

Issue with report RPUAUD00

Hi Friends,
I am facing an issue with the report which reads the Logged changes from the IT 0000.
I have an employee who is a contractor in organisation till 29th, on 29th there is an action for end of assignment and on 30th jan he is been hired into the organisation.
when i am running the report RPUAUD00, I am getting the records till last hire action i.e contractor record. Report is not giving me the changed records of 29th,30th Jan.
Can anyone help me in this regard. If there are any settings related to the same can anyone suggest me .

RPUAUD00 - no effect

Running RPUAUD00 shows no results.
(No lines under "Logged Changes in Infotype Data").
Customization via: Personnel Management>Personnel administration>Tools>Revision>Set up change document, was maintained properly (I believe so, I did it for 0001, 0002,0006,105 etc.. Entry
"Field group characteristics" eas not customized? Do I have to do it as well?
My question Is there any additional cross system customization to be done ?

You need to complete all 3 elements of the IMG point
1) Infotypes to be logged
2) Field group definition
3) Field group characteristics.
You say you haven´t done the Field group characteristics, so that would be the problem. In here you define one entry per Infotype with Tr.class = A, CocFieldGr = 01 and Doc.type = L.

Question for you. Does Logged Changes in Infotype Data - RPUAUD00 also capture physically deleted records.
example - if i delete current infotype 0008 record of an employee, will it get logged as a D in the audit log.

I would say Yes and No.
If the question would have been about IT0015, I would have answered Yes.
But if your IT0008 must exist "until the end of time", deleting an IT0008 will result in the extension of the predeeding one.
So in the Audit Report, you should find that it deleted an infotype but also that it updated an other.
P.S. : Best way to confirm is to test it in your QAT environment.

Logged Changes in Infotype Data (Report RPUAUD00) DONT WORK!!

This report is used to display all changes that were made using infotype change documents, but sometimes it doesnt works correctly.
For example, if I do hiring action, and execute report rpuaud00, I can see :

Infotype Auditing-Report RPUAUD00 need help urgently.

I am developing an outbound interface which captures the specific changed data in infotypes 1,2,6,8 and download the same into an excel file on the local hard disk.
I found the report RPUAUD00 matches with requirement. But did not understand the difference between long term and short term documents.
My requirement is that I need to capture infotype changes for some specific set of infotype for specific group of employees and I need to capture it in following manner:-
If the changes happen for an employee number 10 times on 10 different days, then i need to send all these 10 rows into an output file.
Is the requirement related to short term or long term document?
What configuration is required related to maintaining views V_T585A, V_T585B, V_T585C respectively.

You can test these FM out using SE37
HR_INFOTYPE_LOG_GET_LIST --> gets the header information
HR_INFOTYPE_LOG_GET_DETAIL --> extract the details.
Check to see if these are being used by sap in an existing report and see how they are being utilised.
I can't use these where I am as our documents are configured as Short.
Never be scared to have a go - this is how you learn and improve.
You have to develop an mentality of I don't know how but it must be possible and go for it.

Changes to master data objects must be captured for the For compliance purposes. The auditor allows you to be able to view and print an audit log of changes to master data objects for a chosen period. It is very common for external auditors to focus on what has changed from one year or quarter to the next to help determine the nature, extent, and population for testing. To configure and access your audit log, perform the actions listed with each of the following utilities.
Audit Trail is used to track the record changes.
The report RPUAUD00 gives all the changes done to the masterdata by any user anytime.
But, before using this audit trial, please ensure that the system hardware is well equipped as the audit trials activation would later become a performance issue as this would occupy a lot of space in the coming time.
