Hi Friends,
Need your inputs for Running two actions on the same day...
Well, I had maintained all the nodes which is required to activate IT0302 like in T529A - U0302, Integration switch T77S0: ADMIN-EVSUP,
But still the system is overwriting the previous action.
When I had investigated I came to know there is no priority maintained for the Personnel actions, and due to cleaning up of the data the standard Sap Personnel actions also removed from the table V_529A_B. And there is no new entries tab to maintain our Personnel Actions.
I guess if we maintain the priorities then system accepts to run two actions.
Can you guys help me, and let me know if there's any OSS note to be applied??? as from config perspective nothing I could able to find out.

Hi Pavani,
If the actions change the status - then you cannot have two on the same date. If one or none of them change the status, then you can have two or more, but the ones that do not change the status may be stored in IT0302 even if you do not see them when looking directly at IT0000-Actions. That is if you have set-up T529A properly. Best bet is to check the box for U0000 and U0302 for those actions which change status - Hiring, LOA, Term, etc. Those that do not change status - Transfer, Pay Adjustment, should only have a check in U0302. Also, make sure you have activated the Additional Actions Infotype - program RPUEVSUP.

AEDTM in PCL4 for IT0302 - Additional Actions

Hi All,
I am using the FM 'HR_INFOTYPE_LOG_GET_LIST' to read the log details.
How does the AEDTM in PCL4 get updated?.
I checked for IT0302, the AEDTM present in IT0302 and in PCL4 for IT0302 are different. They do not match,
What may be the reason??
Pa0302-AEDTM is not equal to PCL4-AEDTM.
Due to this incorrect log is getting created.
Any pointers in this regard would really be helpful.

Thaks, I tried that. If I take off absolutely all entries and flags, it will let me progress, however if the U0000 tick is on it will not save. At a minimum this needs to be on.
I would be interested to know if anyone's config has additional actions on for some actions and not others, and what their support pack level is.

Impact of NOT UPDATING infotype(Additional Action IT0302)

IT0302- Additional Actions are maintained, if more than one action need to be updated/maintained on the same calendar date!!
Functional: In any organization different actions (say hiring & termination & Promotion & change of Org unit & etc...) can not be done on the same day
Ex: you can not hire and terminate any employee on the same date, isn't it?
that is the reason we have additional actions for any updations required on the personnel action on the same calendar date.
Technical: It will update your records as per the personnel action you run!!

Additional action - IT0302

Hi experts,
I have activated the IT0302 so that the system will allow me to hire and confirm the employee at the same start date. Now I am having problem whereby the client would like to include the customer specific status and employment status at T529A. As I understand that when I had activated the IT0302, the customer specific status, employment status, and special payment's field must be blank. Is there other way where I can include the customer specific status and employment status while activate the IT0302.

Can't view data in IT302 - Additional Actions

Hi Gurus,
I cannot view any data in IT302 using Ad Hoc Query.
Correct infoset was set up which include Additional actions infotype.
IT302 was also properly set up in t77S0> ADMIN-EVSUP set to 1.
And in T529A all Actions set to be updated in IT302.
There are also Additional Action entries in table PA0302 but when I search it in Ad Hoc Query for a personnel number the fields (Action Type, Reason) turn up blank.
Do I still have to make other configurations?
Any ideas?

I was in the need of getting the output based on Additional actions, and was able to figure out the way as how to do it., I am writing this here not that you would still in need but some one in future might come to this thread and get away with the answer.
1. First we need to add Infotype 0302 to our infoset (Going toSQ02, Menu bar, Edit -> Change infotype selection.
2. Once you have the infotype under the Data fields.
3. Try adding each individual field under the field group/data fields by right clicking on the necessary infotype field and selecting Add field to Field group.
4. Once you got all your IT0302 fields under field group/data fields right side of the window, save your infoset and run the infoset query.
5. Now you have the input fields and output fields to be selected from infoset query.
6. Select input fields as Pernr, and action start date and end date from IT0000
7. Select output fields from 0302 infotype fields, you may select all the necessary fields in the output, but the required one is "Counter Field"
8. Once you have your hitlist from the ad hoc query, refresh the list from bottom of the screen and picks up all the ones who have the counter field as 1 - they are the ones, who has additional actions on specific date.

Two actions on same day

We have requirement where we need to run the two actions on same day
Hiring actions
Change in pay action
In hiring action basic pay has to come as mention in pay scale group then they want to run one more actions called change in pay on same day where they would maintain basic pay
My doubt is that will we able run two actions on same day if yes,
I have actived IT0302 addition action and T77S0 Table as ADMIN              EVSUP 1

Additional Action process

Dear All,
I know the concept of additional action and someone asked me to run the programe RPUEVSUP to activate the same.
When I run the programe it shows 'already activated'. But again if I try to do the same by removing the check mark in 'test run' it shows err 'perno xxxxx error while creating it 0302
When I go to PA30 IT0302 and hit the create button it shows 'you can't do it directly from this infotype'.
If I go to PA40 and try any other action type, it says the previous data would be deleted.
Can anyone let me know the end to end process for 'Additional action'? Do we need to do any configuration for this or it's available in standard SAP?

Before I mark it as solved, can you elaborate the below,
Best practice is to create only the IT0302 for actions which do not change status and both for actions which do change the status.
You mean except hiring action, we can uncheck IT0000 ?
you can rerun it by clicking on the "Execute infogroup" button. The warning message that you will delete records can be ignored as you will get another message that the data was not saved When I ignore the message, it goes back to the previous screen and not getting saved. I checked the same in pa30 overview, but no changes happened.
One more doubt, the Additional Action also will be done using 'PA40' or can we do it in PA30 IT0000?

Dynamic Actions with Multiple Actions Capability
How can I get Dynamic Actions to work on Actions that are stored solely on IT0302 due to the multiple relationship to a previous Action that is stored on both IT0302 and IT0000?
When multiple actions on a given day are executed, the dynamic action from the first action entered is executed twice - when it should only execute the first time with the second actions dynamic action triggering the second time.

When there are multiple actions with the same effective date the wrong dynamic action is triggered. For example, if I have an Expat Return To Home action followed by an Internal Move action with the same effective date the below events occur:
1. IT0001 is updated due to Expat Return to Home - triggering the Dynamic Action off of IT0000 which is Expat Return to Home (Correct)
- Action is stored on IT0000 and IT0302
2. IT0001 is updated due to Internal Move - triggering the Dynamic Action off of IT0000 which is Expat Return to Home (Incorrect - background processing creates data not needed)
- Action is stored only on IT0302

How can we leverage Multiple Actions with the same effective date while continuing to use Dynamic Actions?

Hi,
I have a requirement to configure actions ,which can be executed on the same date.
Eg: Initial entry date 01.01.2008
Offer of contract 01.01.2008
Prepare for hiring 01.01.2008
Note:All the actions should exist in actions infotype(4000).
This is callcenter scenario,as they recruit and hire them as employee on the same day.

Activation 'Additional Actions' - Report

Hi Experts,
I have executed RPUEVSUP program for Activation of Additional Actions , in test mode it gives the log Additional Actions are already active.
But when I run it without test mode I am getting error : Error while createing IT0302.
In T77S0 table: below value also maintained
Group name Semantic abbr. Value
ADMIN EVSUP 1
In T529A table for both the actions I have upaded U0000,U0302 check box.
Its not allowing me to create me to do MULTIPLE ACTIONS on same date through PA40 and
pops with an Information Message "This entry deletes a record".

Hi Seema,
You can do two different personnel actions on the same day but it should not effect the employement status. I think try out with IT0302
Regarding Evaluation Path the best example will be relationship betweeen Department, Position, & Job, like A002- Reports To, A003 - Belongs To.
Already in SAP all most all relationships have been maintained. The Navigation is IMG - PERSONNEL MANAGEMENT - ORGANIZATIONAL MANAGEMENT - BASIC SETTINGS - MAINTAIN EVALUATION PATHS.

Infotype 0000 Actions overview problem

Hi mates,
we are upgrading DEV system from 4.6C to 6.0.
After upgrading the system we cannot see data on overview screen on infotype 0000, and on all other ITs we can see data.
Could you tell me what could be the problem with IT0000?

This problem may have two possible reason:
1)IT0302.You may need to check your entries in T529A, as you might have
activated this infotype (0302 additional actions)and therefore all
completed actions saved in infotype 0000 (actions)also need to be logged
in infotype 0302.
if this IT has been activated y mistake then just deactivate it, if not
you will need to running report 'RPUEVSUP'.(please check the documenta-
tion of this report before hand).
2)If you do not use IT 0302, you will need to check your setting in
table T77S0.
If the switch ADMIN EVSUP has value '1' In order to deactivate this
functionality 'Additional actions' again, just set the value for this
swith ADMIN EVSUP back to 'blank' in table T77S0.

After deactivating this option, the infotype 0000 records should be
diplayed again on the overview screen.

Hi,
Infotype 0302 Additional Actions allows you to automatically log all of the personnel action types that are performed for an employee on a specific date. It allows you to perform and document several personnel action types for an employee in the R/3 System on the same day.
You can display and edit the data records logged in the infotype Additional Actions (0302) on the list screen of the infotype Actions (0000),
In Customizing for Personnel Administration, choose menu path Setting Up Procedures -> Actions -> Set up personnel action types to specify, among other things, the following:
whether you want to use the automatic logging of personnel action types in the infotype Additional Actions (0302)
which personnel action type should be saved, that is preserved, in the infotype Actions (0000) if you perform another personnel action type for the employee on the same day.

Not able to see actions in overview

when a specific user logs in to the SAP system and tries to check the Actions through the Overview tab.. the screen comes as blank. (PA30- EMP. NO. - 0000 - OVERVIEW)
the same details can be seen if logged in through some other user ID.
Can anyone pls help me with query....

Pls Check the authorizations of the user....
The User Must atleast have Authorization values M & R for IT0000 and IT0302

Hiring & Termination on same day

Hello Experts,
A lil Confusion..as per my understanding..two actions which will change the employment status of the employee ,can not be run on the same day.but wat if client want same date for hiring & termination?coz my client was asking for the possibilty (for certain cases only)..
was scrolling through the related threads..but did got the any satisfactory answers...plz help out...
aleast with a YES/No answer..can two above mention actiion with same start date & end date can be run on the same day?also what will be affact on emp stat?

Hi,
Definetly hiring and firing cannot be done on the same day via sap actions
But there is a way around to do it. while creating the info group, include just the IT0302 (additional actions) and excutive the action via PA40.
It did it and it got stored in additional actions IT.
try and check.
