Italic type grows after publishing

Hi,
I've seen lots of publishing problems. This seems to be a new one.
After publishing, some italic words grow very large.

This is a recent problem. I can defeat the problem by changing to "regular" text, but the italics is useful in a good design.
I'm using Helvetica Neue
Other Helv Neue is not bothered (eg., captions to pictures.

It is a known problem that several fonts are rendered with font-weight 700, which means bold, instead of normal. This is a variation of it. You could uss an other font. I have changed the fonts of hundreds of pages. Thanks, Apple, for making things more difficult for your customers.
I have read somewhere that Helvetica is one of the fonts that have become problem fonts. So take another one, like Arial or Verdana.
There are funny people working at Apple nowadays. Messing up iWeb is one of their jobs.

Also check if your javascript retains after Publishing. Sharepoint will remove malcious code/script html after saving the page and make page safe.

HTML Redirect is working in muse but not after publishing... HELP!

I am setting up a "Coupon code" for a website I work on. I have set up a basic HTML Redirect box. It works properly in Muse but after publish it does not work correctly anymore. I understand the "password/coupon code" is available to find in the page code, and that's OK, thats the way i designed it. Here is the link to the page Ticket Center the coupon code is GOLDEN (all caps). It should redirect to: GOLDEN PROMO CODE Please let me know what i am missing. Setup an AQ with CLOB Payload.
In Istudio, setup a custom data type that has a string value. When you are setting up the event, enter a field valled Payload, for the field type choose the data type you created.
That's it. You can use a CLOB datatype to pass messages through AQ's. We actually use this all the time.

It shows white border on all sides of document after publishing

I am facing some problems with publishing of flash file. After publishing at HTMl; it shows white border at all sides of document.
My document size is Width :- 1280 Height : 650. It is adding border on all sides border at top and bottom are greater than that of Left and Right.
I have tried it many ways, altered my flash setting as well but no use. I am really stumped due to this.
To my surprise at SWF file it showing perfect match and fit exactly into window (not showing any borders like HTML)
I dont know exactly from where it is getting white borders.

After publishing I can no longer see the poster frame on QuickTime

I cant figure out why after publishing to the web (MobileMe), I can no longer see the poster frame on the QuickTime movie that I made. When I publishing to a folder on the mac to check my results I can see the poster frame, so it is only happening when i am publishing to the web. Does anyone have any idea why this is happening or have a solution?

You cannot delete this icon as its preinstalled on the iPhone. You may have inadvertently moved it to another page or into a folder. I would suggest you look on all the pages and in all folders or alternatively do a search on your iPhone. It will at least tell you if they are still there but unfortunately not where. You could also do a home screen layout reset settings>general>reset>reset home screen layout.

Error message when trying to view calender after publishing

After publishing my calender I get an offer to send email to invite viewing/subscribing. The email goes through but when I try to follow the link to view I get this error
We're sorry but we cannot find the iCal you've requested.
It's possible that it has been deleted or renamed.
I have tried unpublishing and signing out and then back into MobileMe - both after the suggestion of the chat support for MobileMe.
Any help would be appreciated - would be very handy to have co-workers be able to view my calendar.

Common issues for this :
1. Once you install crystall add on ,you need to go to Crystal report Administration >Account setup .
Put on the user name and password and click on creating ext tables
Try then running the report .
If not the case ,
make sure you install runtime .
You need :
1.Crystal report basic from SAP download -(Not necessary if you want only report viewer >
2.You need to have crystal integration addon (I think service pack is SP1)
3.Make sure you have runtime install
When you are installing ,make sure you restart your PC before you do or remove temporary file s

Error 404 when opening pdf files after publishing website

i included pdf files in a blog. They open properly when testet but after publishing approx. 50% of them do not show up and i receive the error 404 (file not found). Are there any suggestions?

Thanks!!! Due to your comment i found out why the files coulnd't be opened: The names included "Umlaute" and the German "sharp s". These letters were transformed automatically and than coulnd't match anymore. So easy and so difficult.

Captivate 7: slide with mouse will not auto advance after publishing

After I export my Captivate video, any slide that has a mouse object on it does not auto advance. I suspected that maybe the clicking sound file default attached to the action may have become corrupted, so I opened the sound file attached to "single-click" from Captivate. In the VisualClicks folder, there were no sound files. So, I opened the ClickSounds folder and attached the Mouse.mp3 file to this action. After publishing the training, the slide still will not auto advance. The slides that do not have the mouse action advance automatically as they should. The sound file may not be the issue (going to try to uncheck all of the Mouse Click Sound check boxes and republish to see if that helps).
Was hoping to find a solution for future videos.
Each slide is basically a layer of audio > slide > png file > the occasional smart object and/or text > mouse. I have no quizzes or video.
When publishing I use the following setup swf/html5 with swf + html5 checked and scalable HTML content checked. We use Google Chrome and I've had numerous people try my HTML link after I've uploaded all files and everyone has the same issue.
1- Do you happen to know why the mouse action would cause the slide to not auto advance, and if so please let me know a solution so the user doesn't have to click next. If the mouse itself isn't the culprit, any other suggestions on what could cause this?
2- Is there a way to make changes to the audio or override the mouse properties on all slides? I tried right clicking and "use the current mouse pointer for all slides" but it didn't change any of the properties. Thankfully my video is only 110 slides or it would have been even more painful.

For the record, I did create a new project with only two slides to try and duplicate the issue. I had the same problem. I unchecked the Mouse Click Sound check box, republished and the slide auto advanced. I'm wondering if a default sound file was somehow moved or deleted? I discussed uninstalling and reinstalling C7 onto my laptop, but that's a frustrating solution haha

Photos in a lesser quality after publishing

I have a small logo in my site, and it lookes good in iweb, but its a little bit blurry in safari or firefox after publishing. Is there no way to control the jpg compression in iweb? or is the problem somthing else? I can not find anything about this topic in the forum, but I can not be the only one who are not satisfied with the quality

Top Nav buttons not working after publish, but works in app. WHY?

I have tried to find out why these buttons will not work after publishing. They work fine while in the iWeb app, but not when publishing. I do not have any objects near the top nav buttons. The first site went off without a hitch
<www.serenitycustompools.net> the second site began the problem with the last page, the nav buttons would not work. Now this 3rd site, none of the nav buttons at top will work after publish, but will work in app. Anyone else having the same probs? None of my pages have the same names or any punctuation marks, and they are simple one word named pages.

CFolders link doesn't appear after publishing/saving the RFx

Hi experts,
When an RFx is created and documents are added through cFolders in 'Notes And Attachments' tab in the 'Collaboration' section, the link that is created for cFolder is not visible after publishing it. The links are not visible even after saving it and refreshing it. It says "No collaboration has yet been created" even though there is one created in the backend.
Can you please throw some valuable suggestions on how to proceed further?

Changes in Crystal reports are not reflecting after publishing

We are facing problem with Crystal reports. After making the changes in the crystal reports, it is not reflecting in the portal after publishing. Still it is showing the older version of the report.

After publishing the report, we require some changes in the report and doing some modifications in crystal report and again we are publishing this report. After publishing the report for second time, those changes are not reflecting in the BOE portal.

Different background colors after publishing

I imported a powerpoint presentation into Captivate 7 and everything looks fine in the film strip. However, when I preview or publish the project some of the background colors change dramatically (dark blue/grey turns into sky blue). Is there a way to get around this prioblem?
