"Item 1 was not found in the collection" error when saving to Enterprise

We recently upgraded to Edge 4.0 and CR 2011.  I have a report that runs successfully within crystal reports, but if I try to save it to the Enterprise, I get the error "Item 1 was not found in the collection".
Prior to the error showing up, crystal hangs for about 3-5 minutes.
The datasource of the report is a universe.

Greetings,
I recently also encountered this problem but it was unrelated to the firewall issues because both the server and client had their firewalls turned off.
We upgraded from BOE XI R2 to BOE 4.0 and had the same error.  I fixed it by going into Page Setup in the report and clicking "No Printer".  For some reason BOE 4.0 has a problem with the original printer that was used to create the report.  The report then saved and ran fine on the server.

  • Item SI_SHOWDESCONLY was not found in the collection

    To give a bit of an overview of the software I'm talking about, we have web applications that integrate crystal reporting (either BOE XI R2 or BOE XI R3.1 depending on the site). The relevant function that these sites perform is to allow the user to schedule a report which invokes the functionality through crystal to create a report scheduled to run at a specified time(s). These entries exist in the History tab of a particular report when viewed in the Central Management Console. This web application references a reporting library (DLL) that contains all the references (11.5.3300.0) to the various CrystalDecisions DLLs used to perform these functions
    We have a 2nd piece of software that runs a windows service on an application server which references the same reporting library as the web service. This service essentially cross references entries in our own database with the entries in the crystal database to see if they have processed, or reports back errors, it will "reschedule" a report if it has been deleted.
    The issue we are having is that the windows service fails with "Item SI_SHOWDESCONLY was not found in the collection" when calling the following lines of code:
    Dim ceScheduleDoc As CrystalDecisions.Enterprise.Desktop.Report
                    Dim ceSchedulingInfo As SchedulingInfo
                    Dim ceDestinationObjects As InfoObjects
                    Dim ceDestinationObject As InfoObject
                    Dim ceDestination As Destination
                  ceSchedulingInfo.BeginDate = dtTempDate
                        ceScheduleDoc.SchedulingInfo.RightNow = False
                        ceScheduleDoc.SchedulingInfo.Type = CeScheduleType.ceScheduleTypeOnce
                        ceDestinationObjects = ceInfoStore.Query("Select * from CI_SYSTEMOBJECTS Where SI_NAME = 'CrystalEnterprise.DiskUnmanaged'")
                        ceDestinationObject = ceDestinationObjects.Item(1)
                        Dim ceDisk As New DestinationPlugin(ceDestinationObject.PluginInterface)
    (if you need to see more of the code that happens in this method, let me know, but it's that sequence that blows up (this forum limits the amount of lines in a post, which is why i'm trying to limit what I display)
    I have a theory that the issue is that perhaps the service is trying to invoke a different version of the crystalDecisions.Enterprise.InfoStore reference, despite the fact that the project reference explicitly tells it to use 11.5.3300.0, our GAC does also include 12.0.1100.0 and 12.0.2000.0 and on some servers 10.5.3700.0.
    Is there perhaps a binding redirect occuring somewhere that I can find?? I've checked app.config and machine.config

    I will run modules utility
    but I should mention that the exact same code is run everyday by the web application to schedule reports, and calls those very same lines without issue, it's just when called from the service (on a different server) that it blows up, which is why I'm led to believe that it's an issue with the version of the DLL that it's trying to call
    i know in the web.config for the web app, you can explicitly specify that the DLL use certain versions of dlls with tags as follows:
    <system.web>
    <compilation defaultLanguage="c#" debug="true"><assemblies><add assembly="CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine, Version=11.5.3300.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=692fbea5521e1304"/><add assembly="CrystalDecisions.ReportSource, Version=11.5.3300.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=692fbea5521e1304"/><add assembly="CrystalDecisions.Shared, Version=11.5.3300.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=692fbea5521e1304"/><add assembly="CrystalDecisions.Web, Version=11.5.3300.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=692fbea5521e1304"/><add assembly="CrystalDecisions.ReportAppServer.ClientDoc, Version=11.5.3300.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=692fbea5521e1304"/><add assembly="CrystalDecisions.Enterprise.Framework, Version=11.5.3300.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=692fbea5521e1304"/><add assembly="CrystalDecisions.Enterprise.InfoStore, Version=11.5.3300.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=692fbea5521e1304"/><add assembly="CrystalDecisions.Enterprise.Web, Version=11.5.3300.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=692fbea5521e1304"/></assemblies></compilation>
    </system.web>
    whereas the app.config for my service doesn't quite have that ability...unless it does and I don't know about it??

  • An error has occurred:Item SI_XSLT_INFO was not found in the collection

    I am trying to schedule a report in BO XI R3. But I get the below error when I click on the format link.
    An error has occurred:Item SI_XSLT_INFO was not found in the collection.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks

    I encountered this same problem. When going from XI R2 to XI R3, I had imported all the reports so converted to CR2008.  One of the users had a version of this report on his desktop from XI.  He saved it out to BOE XI R3 and then when trying to select format from Infoview when he was scheduling it, he would get this error message.  I just opened this report in CR2008 and then saved it back out to BOE and it worked fine.

    The row was not found at the Subscriber error keeps popup and stopped synchronization even after inserting missing record at subscriber - transcational replication.
    first error throws: Grab exact sequence number, find row and inserted at subscriber...
    Start synchronizing, ran fine for a while, stopped again with error with different exact sequence number, repeat again same as step 1.......
    how can we stop this and make it run without this error?
    Please advise!!!

    Hi,
    This means that your database is out of sync. You can use the continue on data consistency error profile to skip errors. However, Microsoft recommends that you use -SkipErrors parameter cautiously and only when you have a good understanding of the following:
    What the error indicates.
    Why the error occurs.
    Why it is better to skip the error instead of solving it.
    If you do not know the answers to these items, inappropriate use of the
    -SkipErrors parameter may cause data inconsistency between the Publisher and Subscriber. This article describes some problems that can occur when you incorrectly use the
    -SkipErrors parameter.
    Use the "-SkipErrors" parameter in Distribution Agent cautiously

  • 'Item dependency "CURRENT_YEAR" not found in the EUL' error after 4i to 10g

    Hi All,
    I have successfully completed a Discoverer 4i to 10g (10.1.2.48.18) upgrade. There is only one EUL (EUL_US) and it has been upgraded to version 5.1.1. All the Workbooks are saved to the File System. However, during testing some of the Workbooks error when I try to open them in 10g - they still open successfully in 4i.
    <Dialog Box> Item dependency "CURRENT_YEAR" not found in the EUL
    <Dialog Box> Attempt to open Workbook failed
    CURRENT_YEAR is a function of custom Package RESEARCH.UDEF which is valid both at a database level and at a Discoverer Admin 10g Register PL/SQL Functions level.
    I tried deleting the Function "CURRENT_YEAR" from the 10g Admin Edition Tools -> Register PL/SQL Functions and then importing it again. I received the same Dependency error.
    Now the really bizarre thing.....
    The Workbook (2MG.DIS) has 2 Worksheets that both have Calculations that reference function CURRENT_YEAR. If I open the Workbook in Discoverer 4i, delete one Worksheet and save as 2MGb.DIS, then reopen the original and save the other Worksheet only as 2MGc.DIS. Both the individual Worksheets open in Discoverer 10g but the combined Workbook still gives the Dependency error. Weird huh?
    Any ideas help appreciated as I'm pulling my hair out here (and I need what I've got leftl!).
    Kind Regards,
    Gary.

    Hi all,
    The answer was really quite simple but it was what I hadn't included in my post that would have made it impossible for you to help.
    I hadn't mentioned that I was initially upgrading from 3i and it all seemed successful. I however was trying to open the Workbooks that had been created in Discoverer 3i directly in Discoverer 10g. That would explain the "bizarre" feature as I detailed in the post. As soon as I save the Workbook in 4i then I can open without issues in Discoverer 10g.
    Thanks for viewing my post and for your response Gianluca.
    Kind Regards,
    Gary.

  • Advice for recovering from "The requested URL was not found on this server" error when browsing photos and videos on my iPhone 4S IOS5.1

    Im not quite sure how I got into this situation but I have fried my Iphone app photo and video library.  This demonstrates itself in 2 ways
    1. The above error message when I attempt to play videos older than a certain date.
    2. Photos older than a certain date - appear to be grainy suggesting that only the thumbnails are on the phone, and the full resolution photos have been blitzed.
    This coruption may have occured as I have replaced my Iphone 2 times in the last few months for various reasons, where each time I have restored them both using back ups I have made using icloud.  (I havent made an Itunes back up since the iclod came around)
    In reading the support forums - it suggest to restore from a back up version.  Is anyone aware if selectively restoring media content from an icloud back up is possible.
    I have 2 Back Up versions on icould.
    1- 13.5 GB
    2- 7.2 GB
    My hope is that the earlier 13.5 GB version has content I am looking for.
    I am kicking myself for not making the occassional itunes back up, or at least use Image capture as a more secure way of ensuring my personal content is not lost. (I am loosing faith with icould).
    Can someone suggest a good workflow for restoring from a cloud back up.  I have already downloaded the most recent photos using image capture onto my mac.
    Kiwi Grant

    Progress Update.
    I made a back of what existing phtos and Videos I had on my Iplhone.  I used Image capture to do this making an entire back up of photos and videoa that were still intact on the phone.
    Image capture is god for this purpose, as it does exactly what you ask it to do without applying any rules or squishing the files back into iphote (which might also be corupted)
    Image capture wil do the basic function of retriving the contents of the phone and save them as native files on your hard drive.
    Once I did this I erased my iphone, and re intitialised it restoring an older back up from icloud.
    As the retore was happneing - I did retreive the missing files that cuased the intial beviour as above, and I could play the videos that were missing in the above scenerio.  The wierd ting was however that even though the source files were now back on the device, the thumbnail previews were missing. Where I ahd balck thumb nails for server portions of the resotred content.
    I then went to bed as the restore is a long process.  When I woke up the library had library had cleaned itself up.  Mysteriously the prcess had deleted the files missing the their thumbnails.
    This is very perculiar and bad behavior.
    I am now repeating the process, and will attempt to download the missing content as it is restored and prior to the phone trying to fix itself.
    Here are the lessons learned.
    DO NOT rely on Photo Stream to keep back ups and synchornise videos from you IOS device. IT DOES NOT SUPPORT THIS CAPBILITY
    DO NOT rely on iCloud Back Up alone - always fd an occassional iTunes back up or more reliably still always take a back up of photos and video files using Image Capture to be doubly sure that you a have backd up any content.
    DO THIS NOW - dont wait to loose your phone ofr have your phone repaired by replacement at the apple Store.  (I did both :-(

  • Error:[The specified object was not found in the store] when trying to read another mail box using Delegate access

    Hi all,
    I need to create service to access all unread mails of  other mailbox's every time in Exchange server 2013, for that i trying to use Delegate access.
    but i am not succeed. I am getting Error Every time : [The specified object was not found in the store]
     error shows in FolderId in

    emailDelegate.Permissions.InboxFolderPermissionLevel = DelegateFolderPermissionLevel.Editor;
    newDelegates.Add(emailDelegate);
    Mailbox mailbox = new Mailbox("[email protected]");
    Collection<DelegateUserResponse> response = service.AddDelegates(mailbox, MeetingRequestsDeliveryScope.DelegatesAndSendInformationToMe, newDelegates);  var userMailbox = new Mailbox(useremail);

        var itemView = new ItemView(20);
        var userItems = service.FindItems(folderId, itemView);
     i changed my code in many ways by adding new Delegate User with different folder permissions.
     but i am getting same Error, Please help me.

    That error means you don't have rights to the Mailbox your trying to access. In Exchange by default the only user that has access to mailbox is the owner of the Mailbox, Exchange Administration rights does not grant you access to another users mailbox. You
    need to either specifically grant rights to each mailbox using Add-MailboxPermissions or use EWS impersonation where you can impersonate the owner of the Mailbox see

    This will be very hard to troubleshoot without access to PeopleSoft.
    Ideally, the best way to test it would be replicate the steps you are performing in your code through the component interface/web service, and then on the actual PeopleSoft component to see if you get the same error.
    The second case where you haven't put in the parameters, make sure you clear out the ? marks and leave the value empty if you don't need to specify it.
    E.g.
    Instead of <kcm:QUICK_CD>?</kcm:QUICK_CD>
    Use: <kcm:QUICK_CD></kcm:QUICK_CD>
    I generally work backwards from soapUI -- look at the soapUI error, then test through the component interface tester in PeopleSoft application designer, then if required test in PeopleSoft.

    However when I try to run February CU or December CU I get the error:
    The expected version of the product was not found on the system
    it's possible that I messed up because
    I think I installed a SharePoint Server Service Pack 2 in a SharePoint Foundation Farm.
    these are the files I ran:
    1 - SP2 pt-br
    oserversp2010-kb2687453-fullfile-x64-pt-br
    2 - SP2 for Language Pack pt-br:
    oslpksp2010-kb2687462-fullfile-x64-pt-br
    3 - ran configuration wizard (had na error message the first time and success in the second try)
    4 - December CU or February CU:
    Download SharePoint Foundation 2010 February 2014 CU
    The expected version of the product was not found on the system
    In the first step I think I should have installed
    wsssp2010-kb2687464-fullfile-x64-pt-br
    Now I try to runthis and I get:
    The update is already installed on the system.
    Hopefully this is a QA Environment but it would be a pain to start over.
    Any suggestion?
    Thanks

  • Upgrading iWork says "An eligible Keynote application was not found in the location /Applications/iWork '09". But it's wrong!

    iWork CD came with the iMac three years ago.
    Need to upgrade Pages and Numbers from Pages '09 Version 4.0.4 etc. as I use iPad a lot, iCloud and have Mountain Lion installed.
    Downloaded the package but clicking to install says "An eligible Keynote application was not found in the location /Applications/iWork '09"
    Well, it IS there but what can I do?

    Hi Jnorris234, Please help if you can.
    I'm haveing this very same problem. I've tried to repeat all that you did to fix this and I still get the  - "An eligible Keynote application was not found in the location /Applications/iWork '09."
    Although my iWork '09 file was in it's proper place - (Applications folder) and it included Pages 4.1, Numbers 2.1 and Keynote 5.1 - I have been unable to update my iWork apps. I've downloaded all updates from Apple support to install updates direct - (the app store does NOT recognize my iWork '09 suite). But no luck.
    I have created a new folder and put it in my applications folder - then named it iWork '09 and moved the iWork apps into it then tried the update but no luck.
    Any thoughts?

  • Pages is not working in my computer anymore.  Templates aren't there and I tried redownloading the application, but it says An eligible Pages application was not found in the location /Applications.

    "An eligible Pages application was not found in the location /Applications."  every time i try to update.  what do i do?

    You will need to buy the newest iWork so it works again. I had the same problem.
    No, there is no need to re-purchase iWork. If it was installed from a retail boxed DVD, it needs to be reinstalled from the DVD. If a license was purchased electronically for the iWork '09 trial, reinstalling from the downloaded dmg will need to be done. If any of the apps were purchased from the Mac App Store, they can be reinstalled from the Mac App Store.

  • I have Pages '08 3.0.3. Am trying to Download an Upgrade but get a mesdage saying "an eligible Keynote app was not found in the location/Applications/iWork '09. What to do?

    I have successfully imported a Pages document from my (new) iPad but it will not open because it tells me that "You need a newer version of Pages to open this document".

    What to do?

    Go to the App Store in your Applications folder, not in a browser, and search for 'Pages':
    Click on the price to buy immediately (there is no 'basket') - the credit card you have registered with iTunes will be charged. Or click on the icon for an information page:
    Again, click on the price to buy immediately - note that you get no 'are you sure', the purchase is immediate and not cancellable.

  • An eligible Logic Pro version was not found in the Applications folder. This update requires Logic Pro version 9.0 or higher.

    Get this error when trying to install Logic patch 9.1.4 to my machine.
    An eligible Logic Pro version was not found in the Applications folder. This update requires Logic Pro version 9.0 or higher.

    Thx, but i had already read that and tried it: did not work.
    Got it fixed now by reinstalling Logic Studio 9 from DVD.
    That indeed creates the Logic Pro folder in Applications - something I had tried earlier by simply moving my existing Logic folder. This means the Logic 9.1.5 update does not simply check a folder name: there must be another entry/registry entry it checks. Reinstalling Logic Studio from scratch solved it for me.
    After reinstalling thought Lion forgot my Focusrite Saffire 40, so no DAW. Solved that by reading a forum entry on beta drivers.
    So I am happy, music creation wise.
    Left for me is to solve the X Mail application saying it does not run under Lion!

  • ADMT 3.2 Group Migration - Include File error: The object was not found in the domain

    Hello,
    I have been digging for weeks and still no answer. I am trying to migrate Group across two domains and if I select the group, it works just fine. But I want to bulk-migrate groups. So I am going the Include-File route. when ever I load the file I get
    the bulk of the groups processed but I get a dialogue box that states:
    The following objects are either not found or do not meet selection requirement. No migration will be performed on these objects.
    Then I get a list a group and the message states:
    The object was not found in the domain "contoso.com"
    Does any one know anything about this or how to fix it? I have compared the files with good/bad versions using ADSI edit and from its POV they look the same.

    Hi,
    Thanks for your post.
    There is an attribute named "showInAdvancedViewOnly" which specifies whether the object is to be visible in the "Advanced" mode of user interfaces. This is to say, if the schema attribute "ShowInAdvanceViewOnly" is set to TRUE for any security principal
    in AD, we would not be able to find that account or group while trying to migrate it except the simple ADUC search. Just as the issue you encountered.
    Therefore, please enable the "Advanced" mode in Active Directory Users and Computers, and then check if the three groups could be migrated or not.
    If anything unclear or you have any questions about this case, please feel free to let me know.
    Thanks and I look forward to your reply.
    Best regards,
    Ann Zhu
