Item Chooser Escape

How does one dismiss the Item Choose VO+I. Pressing the escape button on the keyboard works but returns me to the home screen. Is there a way to just dismiss the Item Chooser without jumping out of Safari or ... .

I also can see how the Non-Destructive Filter Sample could be
used to filter one of the lists.

The following error comes up when I try to install the updated Firefox:

When I follow the instructions in the error message, it shows that my user name has read and write access. There are a couple other items that are read only. I tried to change this to read and write, but the Sharing and Permissions options are greyed out and will not let me change them. What is the work around for this? I would really like to install the new firefox.

Item chooser

Is there a method for moving items between two lists? I've
copied an image from a popular program to help you instantly
realize what I'm asking for (
Wizard
Chooser).
I'd like to have an AJAX page that gave the user all kinds of
options for moving items back and forth between the two lists.
A 'sticky' option, so that they can multi-select without
having to hold the shift-key down (good for very long lists), a
'move' option vs. a 'copy-to' option.
After they've rearranged their items, they press 'submit' and
the update is done as a batch.

Error in WEB IC FOR WORK ITEM "Choose an assignment reason"

We are getting an error in WEB IC where user is trying to resubmit the work item by giving the resubmission date, re submission reason , Status, and sub status
but when users are trying to save it they are getting an error i.e. "Choose an assignment reason" and they are not able to complete the process
I know there is config for maintaining "Define Reasons for Assignment of Work Items" in SPRO under work items, but this config is not applicable since we are not assigning work item to a new unit and/or a new collection specialist, or removing any assignment. we are just re submitting the work items
Any help on this will be highly appreciated.

Just a thought - on a couple of my previous projects we had some custom CRM Fron-end validation between Work Item Sub Status and either re-assignment reason and/or Closing result code.
Perhaps check with your Development support team to ensure no such cross-validation exists upon saving.

FMS for Instock for a particular Warhouse in Item Choose From List

Dear Experts,
I have an requirement as such that there are e.g 5 warehouses in Item Master Data as A,B,C,D,E. Now while doing any marketing document when the user press tab in the Item No in the choose from list the Instock Column shows the Total Stock in all the warehouses. Means if Item No 123 has stock in Warehouse A - 2, Warehouse B - 3, Warehouse C - 0 so in the Instock Column it would show as the total of all the Warehouse which is 5 but if I want to show only for a particular Warehouse e.g A which is 2 how can I show it in the choose from list.
I have tried to create a UDF also in the Item Master Data and applied a formatted search as :
SELECT T0.OnHand FROM [dbo].[OITW] T0 WHERE T0.WhsCode = 'A' AND T0.ItemCode = $[$5.0.0]
and the udf seems to be working only in the Item Master Window and showing the A warehouse Stock as 2.
I also brought the Udf column in the choose from List of Items but here its not showing any value for the items as desired.
Can anyone please help and let me know what can be done to sort this issue.

Depending on the desired goal, another alternative would be to create a user field in marketing documents to detail.
Later in this field formatted user applies a search that brings the stock in the warehouse of the line detail.
This in Toerien argues that if the document you selected Store A, and in that store there is a stock of 10 units, this amount is what brings the document.
This considering that you can not see it in the select list of items

Hmm ich bin ein Windows Mensch und bin es gewohnt Apps/Applikationen mittels Tastaturbefehlen durchzuschalten (zb. Alt-Tab)...
Wie geht das beim Ipad? Bin gerade ziemlich entäuscht über mein Ipad Air in Verbindung mit einer BT-Tastatur...
Es ist Extrem nervig, dass ich für das wechseln zu einer anderen App die Finger von der Tastatur nehmen muss!!!
Auch sonst scheint die Tastatur (egal von welchem Hersteller) nur knapp die Anforderung einen Text einzutippen zu erfüllen...
Habe im Internet nichts dazu gefunden... Echt schade... Das degradiert dass Ipad zu einem teuren Spielzeug in Sachen Produktivität!!!
Oder habe ich etwas übersehen?

Hallo zusammen,
ich habe mir eine Bluetoothtastatur für das Ipad geholt und schreibe nun Nachrichten über die Tastatur.
Allerdings ist mir aufgefallen, dass ich zum absenden einer Nachricht immer den Touchscreen benutzen muss, was ich ungünstig finde.
Gibt es einen Shortcut um das zu umgehen?

Can I suppress HTML escaping in a read-only item?

I have an item that is displayed as read-only. The item contains HTML markup. HTML DB seems to automatically escape special characters in the item value.
Is there a way to suppress this?
For example, I have a text input item with the value:
<b>Hello</b>
(that is, it contains the bold elements which I want to output as is).
HTML DB seems to be escaping the item value so I see the bold elements in the browser and what I see in the page source is: &lt;b&gt;Hello&lt;/b&gt;
There doesn't seem to be "escape special characters" / "don't escape special characters" options for read-only mode like there is for "Display As Text" items. Can anyone suggest a workaround?

Eric - Text input items are escaped on output whether they are read-only or not. But to answer your question generally, APEX does not emit input items of any type to the browser without escaping them unless there is a guarantee that they have been escaped on input, e.g., when passed in through the URL, or that they acquired their value from within the application. These guarantees apply only to non-POSTable item types such as Display As Text (does not save state) items and a couple others. So in short, we observe the rule (which should be observed by app developers) that it is never safe (from an XSS-protection standpoint) to emit a POSTable item without escaping it first.
In your case, can you define a safe item type (Display as Text, does not save state) and set its source to the markup-containing item that you are now displaying as read-only? If so, you can conditionally display only the safe one and hide the other.

Do not think this is possible with Cash desk or any other Payment lot as normally the entry would be:
DR: Bank Clearing /Cash Account
CR: Customer /Clarfication Account
If there is any Tax item in the Invoice, of course it woud be setoff with a separate Config.

Why I can't delete an item in iCal on iPad 2? The user manual says: click on the item, choose 'Edit' or something like that and then 'Delete'.
But clicking on the item only shows the details and not any window for Editing the item.
I wanted to delete an item in a calendar that is synchronized via Google.

If you are In the "Day"view in the calendar app, tap on the event and a window opens up with a red "Delete Event" button at the bottom of the window. Tap that button and then another "Delete Event" button pops up. Tap that to delete.
In the week view, tap the event and then a window pops up with "Edit" in it - it is in the upper right corner of that window - tap edit, and then repeat the process described above.
I do not use the Google calendar and maybe the way you have that set up will not allow you to do this directly on the Calendar app on the iPad.

1)If there are 10 line items in a sales order two line items should be rejected and the same rejected items should not be displayed in an invoice output? Where will it be configured in IMG. (The items should not be deleted from VA02 it should be is sales order)

Rejecting Items in a Sales Order
You can enter a reason for rejection for one or more items. These items are then not copied into the subsequent documents. If you reject an item in a sales document, the system automatically cancels any materials planning requirements (MRP) previously generated for the item.
Prerequisites
You must be in the change mode for a sales document.
Procedure
You can either reject the whole sales document or individual items.
Reject all items:
If you want to reject all the items, choose Reject document in the change modus for the sales document.
The system automatically selects all the items and you can enter a reason for rejection in the following dialog box.
Enter the appropriate reason for rejection and choose Copy.
The system assigns the same reason for rejection to all the selected items.
Reject individual items:
If you only want to reject some of the items, select those items in the item overview screen and choose Edit ® Fast change of... ® Reason for rejection.
A dialog box appears in which you can enter the appropriate reason for rejection.
Enter the appropriate reason for rejection and choose Copy.
The system assigns the same reason for rejection to all the selected items.
Reject individual items with different reasons of rejection:
If you want to enter different reasons for rejection for the items, choose the Reason for rejection tab page from the overview screen when changing the sales document. You can enter a different reason for rejection for each item in the Reason for rejection field.

Field Selection for Open Item Clearing

In Field Selection for open item clearing (t-code : O7F1),
can I maintain non standard field such as "XREF3" (Reference KEY 3) ?
I tried to insert "KIDNO" into O7F1 and system allowed it.
But when I checked in F-51, the XREF3 (Reference KEY 3) was not in the field selection.
Have anyone get the same issue?

Check the following config path for relevant settings-
Financial Accounting (New) > Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable > Business Transactions > Open Item Clearing > Make Settings for Processing Open Items > Choose Selection Fields
Select customer , vendor etc as per requirement.

Customer statement line item sorting

Hello SAP Gurus,
We use a customer statement which has SAP delivered program and 'z'type form, but our requirement is to sort the line items inside the statement.
I tried using o7s6 - Line item Corresponding sort variant (SPRO>F/A>F/A Global Settings-->Correspondence)in that how would I create a sorting variant that will sort line items based on due date.
And also I believe some configuration need to be done in variant for program i.e., SE38--> give the program name and execute (F8) --> in side this there are options to sorting by due date but I was not able to achieve what I want.
Can anyone please help me with this.

Editing Line Items
You can edit line items for a payment or an exception list at a second list level. You can use the following functions to help you edit line items:
Sort
Search
Change line layout
To edit line items of a payment, double-click the desired payment line.
The system then displays the open items of this payment on another screen.
Sorting Line Items
To sort open items, choose Edit ® Sort. This brings up an additional window where you can sort the line items according to four criteria and define a sequence (see "Sorting Payments" in Editing Payments).
Searching for Line Items
To search for particular open items, choose Edit ® Find. Select a search criterion and enter the desired values or value ranges (see "Searching for Payments" in Editing Payments).
Changing the Line Layout
To change the line layout, choose Settings ® Line Layout, and select the required line layout variant. There are four variants delivered with the standard system.
The standard setting for the sort, find, change line layout, and display totals functions depends on your system configuration. You can change it in Customizing.
