Item does not move from Workflow Inbox to Work Item Executed by me

Hi experts,
We have implemented workflow inbox for invoice payment. After archive document in OAWD, we will do posting through Workflow inbox. After posting, the item should go to 'work item executed by me' folder. But the problem is the work item is still in the workflow inbox. What should we do? Pls help. This is urgent. Correct answer will be rewarded, TQVM in advanced.

Hi Arianie,
First check the status of your WORK ITEM ID. You can check it in SBWP or in SWI6 transaction.
If your work Item ID still remains in the SAP Inbox & does not move into outbox i.e. "work Item Executed by me" then it may happened that your workflow is not triggered after users/responsible agents action completion. You can check the graphical status in SWI6 transaction itself.
Also check whether your Work Item ID's status is not "ERROR" . If it is "ERROR" then you need to resume the work item ID (Whose status is Error) to start/recall the workflow.

Items are not removed from Workflow Inbox

Hi all,
Im having problem with our workflow. Below are the details
SCENARIO:
User A creates a PR. The PR is then forwarded to user B for approval. Once the PR is approved by user B, it is forwarded back to user A for notification purposes. User A then executes the PR and it is automatically forwarded to user C for processing.
THE PROBLEM:
When user B approves the PR, his/her inbox should be cleared once the PR is forwarded to user A. The problem is that, out of the 45 line items present in the PR, only 38 lines were cleared from the inbox. The remaining 7 items were retained. However, when we try to view the PR from user A, there are 45 line items and they are complete.
QUESTION:
What causes the 7 line items to be retained in user A's inbox? How do we clear them?

The user B approved the PR accessing the transaction SBWP or via PR transaction directly?
If via PR transaction directly, then your workflow needs a Wait Event step.

Email does not move from GWAPI to Exchange

I get email from Exchange into GroupWise fine. Email leaving Groupwise
bound for Exchange fails.
I have watched the message flow and the mail seems to move from PO, to MTA,
to Gateway, and out. The gateway seems to lose the message becasue it never
shows in Exchange..
I can see the message go to the PO:

I can watch the file land in the \API41\wpcsout\excfb87\4 directory and then
disappear but I have no idea where it goes?

Made the initial Gateway using ConsoleOne. Once created I used NWADMIN and
followed thru the doc. I basically started at page 116 of the
e23interopmig.doc. We always got stuck at the one tab where it looks for
"Required Parameters". The foreign domain was done as per this doc. If you
look at an older MS doc some of the instructions are somewhat screwy and
never made sense when it came to creating the Foreign domain etc etc. We
concentrated on getting the basic test done of sending mail to these folders
(page 129), once this worked everything fell into place.

End Routine Issue - It does not move data from E_T_RESULT to RESULT_PACKAGE

I am facing an issue with end routine. I have gone through previous posts on, how to write end routine and all.I wrote the end routine accordingly.
Here is my scenario,
I have 0CUST_SALES master data , which has all the Sales Org, Distribution Channel and Division, Sold to Party, Sales Grp and Sales Dist.
I am getting , Sold to party and Distribution channel at the field routine.
I am using, Sold to Party and Dist Channel and Division = '01'- whatever i populated using a field routine and trying to get the Sales Org, Sales Grp and Sales Dist at the end routine.
It looks like, all the code that i wrote seems correct but it does not populate any values into RESULT_PACKAGE.
Here is the code I wote at the end routine. I am not sure, whats wrong in it. I used, this link to write this routine :

Workitem is not removed from User Inbox

There is requirement, when the PR is created by user, first it has to go his department Head and then to Manager, AGM, GM, etc. There are different departments.
I'm maintaining organizational structure and giving positions in Release Strategy. Now how can i know who has created and to whom it has to go first. Shall i create different release strategy for that ?? Or is there any other way ??
And i tried to create custom workflow and using two release steps instead of one. And giving Rule in my first release step. And in second release step i'm using the strategy. When i create the PR and release, it is not removing from User Inbox.
Do anyone know what could be the problem ??

From your requirement, its not a good idea to have all department heads assigned to a single position.
But, you can have different positons for different departments and the association between department and the corresponding position number can be maintained in ztable. Then have a custom rule based on function module which will make a call to this ztable and find the corresponding postion given the department of user, get this position out and use it as agent assignment in step. However to use above first you should be able to find the Deparment to which a given user belongs to.
the position that you are talking about in your question, is it a position with relevance to HR structure or is it just that you have created for workflow purpose. In general its a good idea to have bit strong dependency with HR structure rather than going for workflow specific positions. If your position is a HR position then probably with bit of reengineering the HR organization structure with respect to your departments would be good and with a good design of org structure you can also get rid of any new custom table to maintain the relation between department and corresponding position.

Some of the error idocs are not falling into Workflow Inbox

The extract of IDOC list with status 51 from WE02 transaction is not matching with Workflow inbox column "object", some of the idocs which are errored are not showing in the workflow inbox. Here we are in need to get all the errored idocs into the inbox. Please suggest me to proceed further.

I have maintained the suggested role SAP_GRC_SPC_SCHEDULER in backend for an user id and i can able to see a job is getting completed in SM37.
However, the task in the inbox hasnt come yet.Any idea you may have as to how much time it will take for task to come into inbox.Or is that i need to do any more extra task.

Rdiohead album In Rainbows does not move to iPod

After importing the album, I had two bands with the name Radiohead in the iTunes list (?). In Finder, I found that the original folder was Radiohead while the new one was Radiohead_ . The latter contained In Rainbows album, in the former there were the other albums. After converting the mp3 files in Toast to AAC files I had all the albums in a single Radiohead folder. Here I thought that everything is ok but then it turned out that iTunes does not move the In Rainbows album to iPod. I cannot figure out what's gone wrong. Suggestions? I have never before seen this behavior with iTunes.

Just curious, why did you convert the album from mp3 to AAC?
Converting one lossy format into another simply loses more info along the way and will serve nothing other than to compromise sound quality.

Initial postion of image changed but now image does not move

My apple thunderbolt display (which I purchased 1.5 years ago; OS 10.7.5 Mac Mini) intermittently goes dark, does not wake from sleep after clicking mouse or keyboard, but there is "bonk" sound after clicking mouse or pressing keys, so am thinking it is a hardware problem with the display. Rebooting by pressing the power button turns the screen back on, but the same phenomenon has occurred several times. Could this be a software issue, or do I need to have my display repaired? I wonder if it's a variation of this, of which I've seen many different symptoms...
Resolution
Move the mouse or trackpad cursor over the center area of the login window so you can see the user icons. Click on the icon of the user that you would like to login as, type in the user's password, and press Return.
If the login window is configured to show only the name and password fields, type in the user's name and password into the fields, and press Return (even if you cannot see the rest of the login window).
Additional Information
This issue will not occur if the display is not sleeping when the account is logged out. Use the steps below to confirm that the account is not configured to log out automatically while the display is sleeping:
1. Open System Preferences > Security & Privacy > General. Click the padlock to unlock the preference pane and enter your admin password. Click the Advanced button at the bottom, then see if the option "Log out after N minutes of inactivity" (where N is the number of minutes) is enabled.
2. Open System Preferences > Energy Saver and configure Display Sleep to occur after the account is logged out, by dragging the slider to a number of minutes that is greater than N was set to in the previous step.
Important: If automatic log out is not needed, disable "Log out after Nminutes of inactivity" in System Preferences > Security & Privacy > General. This will also prevent the issue.

Cursor does not move.

On my IMAC the cursor does not move, but show connected and the click works. just will not move cursor on the screen. I doen the following.
- replaced batteries
- restarted computer
- unplugged computer and restart
- restart while hold command+options+P+R
oh ya, I did notice my picture for my log on changed.

Bootup holding CMD+r, or the Option/alt key to boot from the Restore partition & use Disk Utility from there to Repair the Disk, then Repair Permissions.
Does the mouse move booted from that partition?

For Windows Support Software: the download size is around 600MB - 1GB. Depends on your Mac Model. There are server problems but a good idea is to check from iStat menu's or something else if there is some activity.
Also, make sure that in your network settings:
Uncheck Automatic Proxy Detection
Uncheck Passive FTP Mode
