Item load order

I created a podcast using Darkroom template. when I load the podcast on the web it starts loading some item with movie. the title and discription text field does not show up until the movie stream completely loads. Is there a way adjust which field/items load?

The problem is this is a Lakota language lesson. I am wanting the text to show up before .m4v starts streaming. In that way they can follow the text. As it is now I could not do a two column table so I added a text field for female text. The male field which was default text field will not show up until mov loads completely. If I don't use default text field nothing shows up on index page for episode. you will see the male text on it now:

Why did Apple OS loose the ability to adjust load order of login items

In OS X.3.9 I was able to adjust the load order of log in items.
I can't do this in OS X.4.11. I would like to adjust two items Mozy and Yahoo! Widgets so that they load last. Although all my log in items including them load they hesitate while Mozy and Yahoo widgets load. I would like to make Yahoo widgets load very last and Mozy next to last.

Another approach which might work would be to delete some, most, or all of your current set of login items and replace them with a single Automator workflow, one set up to open individual applications in a predetermined order.
The workflow would be comprised solely of separate *Launch Application* actions (from Automator's Finder library) and might look like this:
1) *Launch Application* -- click the popup button and select the first application you'd like to open.
2) *Launch Application* -- select the next application you'd like to open.
3) *Launch Application* -- 3rd app.
4) *Launch Application* -- etc, etc, until you reach the last application, which could be Yahoo! Widgets.
From Automator's File menu select Save As > File Format: Application, and add the saved Automator applet to your login items.

Not allowed to move load order of Control panels in System Preferences Tige

I post here because System refuses to let me post in Tiger forum depite my being a forum member since purchasing my G4-500 new just a few months after coming out.
The problem is associated with my PowerBook17" bought new March a year ago. I currently am running 10.4.6 Tiger.
On my G4-500 using Panther 3.9 I am allowed to drag and drop the load order of extension and control panel in System > Accounts > Startup items, at will.
If I try the same thing on my PowerBook 17" It want let me Drag or if I do get it appear to drag what it does instead is remove from the list.
Suggestions?

You can use the Helpful buttons without using Solved. Solved will result in your thread being marked as answered, Helpful won't. It is possible to mark a question answered without marking any posts as helpful or solved. You would do this if you found the solution somewhere other that the thread with the question. It is good form to post what the solution is so that others can benefit. You can go back & "unmark" a question as answered, but I'm not sure if there is a time limit from the time you originally marked it answered.

Control load order of third-party menulets / menu extras at startup

Does anyone know how to control or adjust the load order of third-party menulets / menu extras at startup? I am using the latest update to Tiger.

There are two types of third-party menulets: those that use Apple's sanctioned "NSStatusItem" (which is not as full featured as Apple's menulets) and those that use the reversed-engineered (and unpublished) "NSMenuExtra" which is exactly what Apple's menulets use. The method for arranging these in your menubar depend on the type:
1) Apple and "NSMenuExtra" menulets: hold down the command key (and keep it down) and you can click and drag these in the order your like.
2) "NSStatusItem" menulets: these are added to left side of the the other menulets in the order they are launched. If these applications are in your "Login Items" then OS X launches these simultaneously, which means those that launched "quicker" will end up towards the right, and others will end up towards the left. The only real solution to controlling this order is to control the launch order by writing an AppleScript for each one that puts in an artificial delay before launch. Then, use these AppleScripts as your Login Items instead.

Target Load Order Bug?

Version: 12c
I've set the Target Load Order to:
T1,T2,T3
But it always generates the jobs as:
Load T3 - IKM Oracle Merge
Load T1_T2 - Unknown KM (this is actually IKM Oracle Multi-Insert.GLOBAL)
Please help!!!

There is a workaround, but it requires some work on the physical tab. You have to drag the items around so that you end up with two targets. The first target loads the multi-insert to T1 and T2 and the second target loads T3. They should default to run serially, which is what is needed. Do not run in parallel. I had trouble with the icons in the upper left of the execution units (blue boxes) updating. Switching to logical view and back should fix them.

Images loading order & thumbnail pointing corresponding image directly

May i ask 2 questions here.
1) If you can click this link http://www.prashanthvfx.com/Concepts&Imaginery.html, you can see that all my 14 drawings that had been lined up one after the other, are trying to load at the same time. Is there any way to prioritize, by which the 1st image loads first and 2nd image loads second and so on.
2) If you can click this link http://www.prashanthvfx.com/art.html , you can find under "Concepts & Imaginary", i had displayed 14 thumbnails for the above link. All the images are linked to the above webpage (14 bigger images). Now, if you click on any thumbnail, it will open the link were all 14 bigger images are displayed from the starting. My question here is, can we device a way, by which if first if we click each image, it will point to the corresponding bigger image on the http://www.prashanthvfx.com/Concepts&Imaginery.html.
Meaning, if i click on the last thumbnail "Keep city Clean", it will open and directly point to the last image on the linked webpage, by pushing the vertical scroll bar all the way down, were the corresponding bigger image is displayed.

Sorry, but you can't control the order in which page items load. This
is browser dependant and each browser handles the order differently.
Hi Nancy, i'm a bit shocked to hear this. I was thinking website designing has evolved over many years and so there should definitely be a way to load images in order. I am a Computer Graphcis artist and so not much good in scripting. But, i think we can device a simple script by which we can mention the images order separated by comma's "," and so the browser will not load the 2nd image until it has completely finishined loading the 1st image. Correct me if am wrong.

Clip loading order inversed???

I have a linked clip in my library that is a thumbnail. Well
the only thin inside is a code to load a thumnail jpg.
Here is the situation. I use a for loop to add a seri of
these linked clip displayed on the stage. All the same clip, at
different pos _y and only the thumb path is pass to the clip as a
parameter. The question is about the way the clip load. They
display one after the other, but the load order is reversed. The
last one added to the timeline is the first one ti load and display
follow by the previous one and so on. If there is a loop of 10, the
10th clip load and 9, 8, 7...
Why? Is that like Java LIFO concept. Last In First Out that
flash manager it???

Yes, may be they start to load to closely. There is many
images, never big, just thumbnails. The size of each is
approximately the same. I did the test online. Even if on the
computer it could be different, the real test is online.
May be I can use the "for in" like GWD said or simply start
the for with the last item and then i--. Well i'll try it.

Load order control

I'm working with a project where I need to load external images as well as internal movie clips dynamically to the stage. I want the external images loaded first (below) the other elements but I'm having an issue where they come in over the other movie clips. I'm pretty sure what's happening is, even though I load the images first, because they take longer to actually load, they land on the page after the other movie clips.
I know that's the reason for the "COMPLETE" listener, but all the information I'm using is coming from an external database. I get all the results then loop through them to load the objects. Making sure to load the external images first. I don't see how I could use the "COMPLETE" listener to continue loading the other results.
Can I change the "stack order"? (for lack of a better term)
If anyone can shed a little light on this topic, I'd appreciate it.

The key to controlling the load order is to load one item at a time and let the completion of each loading trigger loading the next item. So you could have an array that identifies the images in the order you want them loaded, and you create your own form of loop using a counter variable that you increment each time an object completes loading. The Loader loads the current array item who's index is the value of the counter variable. The Loader has a COMPLETE event listener to detect load completion. The COMPLETE handler function would include the code for incorporating each image into the display, an increment of the counter variable, and a check of that variable to see if the entire array has been processed (which it is when the variable equals the length of the array). If it hasn't, the call goes out to load the next image. When it is detected to be complete, then you proceed with whatever other loadings you have planned.

Target Load order is not working properly in 11.2.0.2

Hi,
Mappings whihc are migrated from OWB10.2 version to 11.2 which contains multiple targets are not working in accordance with the target load order given in the mapping.
The order in which targets are loaded changes between execution.
To test is this a problem with migration we had created a smaple mapping containg 3 targets and mentioned loading order in each target table as well as in mapping property.
The order in which the targets are loaded was random. But when we have 2 targets it seems to be working. But for migrated maps this is also not working.
Is there any bug reported in 11.2.0.2 for this issue? Any help is highly appreciated.

Target load ordering is set to false by default in 11.2.
You need to set it to true if you want your mapping to use it.

Undesired Load order of FLV and MP3s

Hello
I have added a scrolling Flash page with a FLV and several
MP3 files in each their own player to site below.
I have set the video to autostart.
The MP3s are set to not autostart.
When I export the FLA the swf nicely plays the video first,
and the mp3s are loading in the background simultaniously.
When viewing the page in Firefox and Netscape the same
happens, just as intended.
Problem:
But in IE and Safari all the sound files are loading first
(and not playing) and not until they are fully loaded will the
video start loading and playing. This results in viewing an empty
video window for a long time.
1) Is there are way to make all browsers load the video first
and play it first?
2) And in general manage load order of video and audio files
in a Flash file?

no, the sounds wouldn't be playing until you used the start()
method of those sound instances or you assigned the source property
of your mediaplayer and you wouldn't want to do either until your
flv completed play.
in fact, it would be optimal to first load one sound: the mp3
that follows the flv. then when that sound completed loading, load
the 2nd sound.

I was working on Actual cost line items for orders / Internal orders of an employee.
standard program RKAEP000 is present through TCODE KOB1.
I want some customization of report, so debugged the program and found that its using a FM 'K_LINE_ITEMS_SELECT_AND_LIST' to calculate internal orders.
But the FM has used REUSE_ALV_* and displaying output itself.
the requirement is to customize the output display .

this function is calling K_LINE_ITEMS_SELECT_AND_LIST function with I_NO_DISPLAY parameter
and returning the result.
Already they are in same function group,

But, the strange thing is that the field that I would like to bring in my layout is available in 2 clients in the same system and not in all the clients. I have one client in which this field is not available.

Stefan, as stated, this was not well thought through solution (but with some work would be possible to achieve).
Regarding memory leaks. We have spent quite a bit of time looking in-depth at the shop code over the years and have so far seen very little evidence of actual memory leaks.
MASSIVE memory consumption, yes, definitely, but no actual leaks
If you have a suitable OS and JVM running that will allow you to crank up your JVM memory settings then you will most likely see that the memory usage will plateau...it might just be at a much higher level than you would have reasonably expected.
To give you an example. One of our customers was running a very large catalog (900 000 items) and the shop used 22 GB of memory when running. One of the main reasons in their case, with such a big catalog, was how the web shop chooses to create web cat items and cache them. Deep in the standard shop code you can find that there are lots and lots of ArrayLists initiated and they are all given a >0 default length, which consumes memory even when empty. In this particular case this became such a big issue that we sent SAP the proof that if they would initiate the ArrayLists with 0 length the memory consumption would drop significantly for each WebCatItem instance.
We estimated at the time after some in-place replacements of the CatalogAttributeValue, class out of the pcatAPI.jar where we set it by default to null instead of size of 10 that we would have saved about 40% of memory consumption. We even prepared the test case and sent it all to SAP, but don't think we ever got it implemented in standard code.
Another suggestion was that SAP would implement a LRU cache for catalog caching for larger catalogs....again would help with memory usage challenges.
With another customer we had 1 Million+ hits per business day (8 h period) and I can't remember us ever having to chase up memory leaks in the standard shop code...they might exist, but perhaps the usage scenarios I've been involved in have just not brought most of them to daylight.
Purely out of interest...if you have found memory leaks in the shop it would be interesting to hear where you found them.

Not displaying Actual cost Line Items for Order

Hi Gurus,
Recently we did patching from SPC6 to SPC8. After patching we noticed that could not able to see displaying Actual cost Line Items for Order from work order.
System is not throughing error message when I double cline on line item at Plan/Actual Comparison screen in work order cost tab.
We can able to see the same from KB01 with out any problem. I have attached the details.
Could any one suggest me please. Appreciate your thoughts

Load Order in a mapping

any one has done a SINGLE MAPPING WITH multiple SOURCE TO multiple target
like      source a TO target a
     source b TO target b
     source c TO target c
in an order, which is first a should be feeded, THEN b and so ON...
we have load order in Paris to resolve this, I'd like to know is there ANY way we can do it with 10GR1

I dont think there is anything like load order in 10gR1 but when i had similer problem we sorted that out with use of process flow by spliiting the mappings.
If you know a better way out then do let me know.
I have come across a previous thread in the forum on the same issue which says that we can not control load control WITHIN the mapping and OWB decided it by default in the order in which objects are drppoed on canvas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
