Item user status at plant level

Hi All
I have configured certain User Status which are assigned to Item category. Item category is used in all the plants but user status is applicable for only few plants. So User status will also appear in those plants where it is not applicable.
In Cost object Sales orders I have the option of selecting the User status manually in Status tab by clicking in 'Object Status' button. But in the items which are not cost object 'Object Status' button does not appear. So I have to assign to Item category in Customizing which will then always be defaulted even though it is not required in ceratin plants.

Assign user status profile operation wise and then have some development to check the operation status and
then update production order status with same user status you mentioned in operation.
FM: STATUS_CHANGE_EXTERN will help you to change the user status of order.

Is the Sales Order Item User Status available in user exit MV45AFZZ

Hello,
Does anyone know if a sales order line item user status is available within user exit MV45AFZZ (USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT)?
I need to send an email when the status changes from one specific value to another specific value but I don't seem to have access to what the latest value is in this user exit.
I have found a table XTVSTAT which cntains some user status' but it's not clear which status maps to which line item.
If anyone has any suggestion please let me know.

I do need to access the values as I need to check for a specific change to the user status from value A to value B.
I have already tried debugging the user exit and searching through the available variables but the status information doesn't seem to be available.
I guess I will have to try the output determination route. Can you explain this in a bit more detail please.

USER STATUS at Activity Level

I do have user status defined for Activity and it doesn't show up when i set the status. All i see is SYSTEM STATUS and not user status. To see user status i need to click the blue button (with I symbol) and then see it. Why is this happening like this?
But at Network Header level & WBS level i see both USER STATUS & SYSTEM STATUS.
Any info will be a great help

I think WBS and Network are controlling objects in SAP. Activty is related to execution. This may be the reason why SAP has provide detailed ie user statuses at WBS and network level only.
In my opinion you cant achieve this in standard SAP, you may have to for devlopment of customised screen. User exit CNEX0008 will help you.

Planning board user status at operation level

Hi Guys,
Our user is not using planning board and therefore system status should not have DISP status as system status.
Now user needs two profiles in the CM07 bases on the statuses SCH and RFS.
Profile 1: For operation user status=SCH
Profile 2: For operation user status=RFS
I know how to create over all profile for planning board from the below path.
IMG>Production>Capacity Requirements Planning>Evaluation>Profiles-->Define overall profiles
Could any one please suggest me where and how to define required user statuses against the profile.

Controlling Schedule Line Cat by Item User Status

Hi all,
In VA01/02, I am now trying to update the Schedule line cat in user exit "USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT_PREPARE"
I can successfully update the Schedule Line Cat, however, the subsequent effect of the Schedule line cat does not take effect.
e.g., Schedule Line Cat is updated from CP to CN, but there is still requirement exits in table VBBE.
Please kindly help me to make the subsequent effect to take place?

You can do this in SPRO.
Goto SPRO -> CRM -> Transactions -> Status Management -> Now execute the 'Change Status Profile for User Status' -> Create your own status profile using the create new button and then assign the new status to the desired transaction type in
SPRO -> CRM -> Transactions -> Define Transaction Type.
Now if you create a new transaction for the transaction type that you assigned your own status type, you will be able to see your own statuses.
Let me know if you did not understand any step, I shall explain in more detail.

Item User Status - Sales Order

1- The cancellation item is created with reference to an existing line item on Sales Order. How is done?
2- I would like to see the original item have its status for both delivery and billing changed to completed and have its overall status completed as long as a PO is created. I don't know how to do that...

Material status at plant level

Dear Guru's,
Please suggest the material status or any other solution for blocking material for planning i.e. there should be no PR, planned order or sales order. But that status should not create problem while mass level changes for BOM, Routing, DMS.
Status 90 in MRP 1 creating problem while applying mass level changes. Also tried 00 & 01 but they are allowing to create sales orders.

Hi,
Go to OMS4 & check the statuses & their values. Choose the one which meets your need. If none suits, then create one.
You can prevent a material from being part of MRP run, while allowing to be in BOM by setting B & blank or A respectively.
Revert if you face any issues.

Updating the User Status in Sales Order Item

Dear Gurus,
Iam trying to update the User Status on the SO item using STATUS_CHANGE_EXTERN function module and the status is successfully getting updated.
But the problem is if Iam updating the status it has to delete the Purchase Requisition assgined to it, which is not happening.. whereas when Iam manually changing the Status, the PR is getting deleted.. Can anyone suggest some other function module or some other way of doing it other than BDC?

Service Order Component User Status

Has anyone successfully tied a user status profile to the component item on the service order? I've added the object type from BS12 and BS02, but I can't find a configuration assignment at the component level. Any help is greatly appreciated!

What i get with your query is that you want to know the user status at component level. I mean to say for example if suppose product has come for repair than at each level of service what is the status of the process at user level you want to know that.you can get that into table crmc_status_proc table. this table is UI filter in order to restrict visibility of status management in the CRM business transaction to the necessary functions there.
Entries in the CRMC_STATUS_PROC table control the following:
Which system status should be displayed in the CRM business transaction?
Which of the system statuses used in the CRM business transaction are lifecycle statuses?
Which system statuses may be set manually in the CRM business transaction?
Which system statuses may be deleted manually in the CRM business transaction?
If a system status may be manually set or reset, which business transactions should be used for setting or resetting?
Should the display or maintenance be restricted to specific business object types?
Which of the system statuses used in the CRM business transaction should be displayed in the toolbars for status maintenance?

Hi Aditya,
   Object key is nothing but the Order number.
   If you are changing the header level data the Object key is ordernumber. Example: 000300001487
   IF you want to change the Components or Partners or Operations then we have to specify the line item number along with order number.
Example : if line item 0020 needs to be changed then Object key = 0003000014870020.

User status linking between wbs and network

Dear All,
I got one requirement in which i am using user status at wbs level to block all the transactions. Now the problem which i am getting is that even though i am maintaining the user status at wbs level, users are able to post the data on network activities. If i am maintaining the user status at activity level than i am able to stop the same.
Kindly suggest cant we maintain user status at wbs level and stop fi posting at activity level. Is there any way to achieve this.

The condition for action don't work with user status

Hello,
we have some problem with define conditions for actions of SLA Monitoring:
Schedule condition with system status (Example:"&CRM Service Product Item.System Status& = I1002") is implemented.
But schedule condition with user status ("&CRM Service Product Item.User Status& = E0005ZLFC0001") is not implemented i.e. the action for message with user status = "E0005ZLFC0001" is not executed.

I have requirement to call smartform when the user status of the item for the service quotation changes to complete. Is there any BADI to track the item user status?

I have tried CRM_ORDER_STATUS, however the BADI is not usefull as it is not getting called when I save the transaction. It is triggering as soon as I change the status. I think I need a BADI which is triggered on save and I should be able to access the new and old status in the BADI. Please help some one.

RTV user status - movement type 122

Hello,
We are trying to trigger RTV (Return To Vendor) user status
automatically from the movement type '122' and vice versa back to AVLB
with the reversal (movement type '123'). We tried to search for the SAP
standard business through the IMG for user status (IMG > Plant
Maintenance and Customer Service > Master Data in Plant Maintenance and
Customer Service > Basic Settings > Define User Status). The only
Business Transaction that does the automatic trigger is 'Goods Issues'.
However, we are already utilizing this 'Goods Issues' business
transaction for other user status. (ie. 'YARD'). Besides, it does not
make sense that Goods Issues will trigger RTV user status. Please
advise.

Hi,
I think its not possible to assign 2 different user statuses for single document. As you are using one status already while doing goods issue, you cant assign another status simultaneously.
You try to create user fields & assign some value based on your requirement while posting the document.
