Itemised billing

Hi, I'm a customer with BT and I'm looking for information regarding itemised billing. I need to obtain records of telephone calls made from feb 2009 to present day regarding phonecalls to Thames Water. The website with my account details does not provide this facility, I would expect the records to exist but I don't know how to access/request. It would be useful if they could get in touch and see if there's a way forward. Also any information from forum members would be grately appreciated
Regards
Richard

    Hi there,
I made a call to NHS Choices (the old NHS Direct) on their freephone 111 number about 4 weeks ago, but cannot locate the call on my itemised bill.
Is there a reason it would not be there?
    Many thanks,
    Kevin

  • Historic Itemised Bill Details

I am trying to find out how to access itemised call details from previous bills. My current settings say I should be able to see them.
Like other people I am trying to get a list of calls made to a specific number over the last six months as part of a legal claim against a company.
Regards and thanks for any help you can give.

    Hi marke,
    Welcome to the forum.
If you download one of your previous bills and scroll down to the call usage section, it should say how your calls are itemised (the most common one I think is when calls are itemised if they came to over £0.50 or above).
If it isn’t fully itemised (i.e. where every single call is shown on the bill) I can get that changed and it’ll apply to all future bills. To get in touch by clicking on my username and using the web form under “about me”.
    Thanks,

  • Where can i find my itemised billing information?cannot find anywhere in my acc

I am looking for the itemised section in my accounts - would like to view the numbers i have dialled but cannot find this option anywhere

Unless you pay the £1.50 a month charge for full itemisaed billing from EE, you will only ever see any out-of-allowance charges listed on your bill or via your online account.

  • "Itemised billing" of Skype Credit used for phone calls (Skype Credit Usage History)

It is very diffilult to obtain a summary of your Skype Credit usage history. I want to know how much each call cost. I found it on this website:https://secure.skype.com/account/usage I noted my Skype call credit was used in a very short period and I wanted to know which calls were responsible for this. It's almost impossible to find this information using the Skype Desktop Application. Calls marked "Special Services" were responsible for these costs. I wish Skype would be able to clearly mark calls which have expensive rates. I use a subscription with phone calls, but these "special service" calls are not anticipated and unexpectedly used all my Skype Credit. I am asking Skype to make it easy to get your Skype Credit Usage History, using the Skype application.

  • How can I get an itemised .csv download of my EE bill?

I've just recently changed from Orange to EE to get 4G. I use my phone for work and have to submit my work calls logged in an excel spreadsheet to claim expenses, with Orange I could download an itemised .csv file of all my calls. Does anyone know how to download this information from EE, I can only seem to find a PDF download option, which is rubbish for copying in to excel as the format is all screwed up. Thanks a million

If you want itemised billing you will need to call customer services and request this it will cost you £1.50 each month to have this. All you get otherwise is that PDF.

  • Billing pages changed to be much less functional

    1. Someone changed me from itemised billing without asking permission. Why? I need itemised billing to do my work expenses and tax. I've had itemised billing for several years, why suddenly has it been removed without my consent?
    2. To make matters worse, the online billing web pages are not working properly. In firefox I can't make the javascript links work that allow me to view the itemised calls and charges - the first page of itemised calls shows, a list of 15 calls - but won't respond either to me asking for a display of 50 calls (dropdown options - just ignored), OR to me asking for page 2 or any subsequent page on the call detail listing. I've turned off all the privacy protection in Firefox and it still won't work. Something flashes in the status bar about Omniture but nothing happens. It is impossible to view anything other than those first 15 calls which is hopeless.
    3. I tried using IE8 instead, but with that I can't even login - it just goes round in circles then tells me that function isn't working and to try later.
The combination of removing itemisation in my downloaded bill, and making it impossible for me to view the itemisation in the online version is a real pain.
I sent in an email about it, requesting an email reply - but got a phone call instead. Email promised - but merely an autoreply.
Billing used to work fine - a fully itemised downloadable pdf bill, no messing about with badly scripted web pages. But now it is a total mess and not fit for purpose. Maybe I shall just tell the tax man to come to BT and sort it out directly with you?
    My broadband secrets and tips

Yes - I did manage to do that, once IE8 had eventually allowed me to login after giving me a few "this function isn't working" message.
Although I'm not into spreadsheets. But the basic functionality of these billing pages is seriously shot. As DS appears to have noted also.
I am not at all happy to see the navigation links from one page to the next, calling on scripts from Omniture.
There are still 2 issues which BT haven't explained.
    1. Itemised billing in the donwloaded pdf bill suddenly went NON itemised. Why? Who decided to change that. It wasn't me.
    2. The billing pages always used to work quite easily in Firefox. Now they don't, and I don't have the time to wait while they load in a badly crippled IE8. All this is very recent. And it isn't my security settings in Firefox because even Safe Mode doesn't work. Cookies are allowed for bt.com.
Here is the relevant bit of Omniture related script that doesn't function in Firefox.

    My broadband secrets and tips

  • My bt bill ? I feel that Im being ripped off!!!

why is it when i phone bt with an enquiary about my last phone bill, (broadband usage package 1)
i just keep getting told that i have to change my package?
my last bill was £58.50,that was for december, my phone bill for calls was £0.90, or there abouts.
but my broadband was 30gb over,my 10gb limit, whitch according to the fair use policy, is approximatly 2,500 songs! witch meens i must have downloaded the equivalent of 10,000 songs with my laptop in a month?
not happy with that, i get an email telling me that from the 4th of feb till the 10th of feb i have already went over my 10gb limit, and my bill is £35.00 ?
i have tryed to talk to BT India ! but i would be better of banging my head of a wall ! all i want is an Itomised bill, for my broadband usage,so i can see for myself what i am being charged for ! is this to much trouble for such a big company? that has it's customers best interest at heart?  what a joke !
and just befor i go how come my laptop keeps trying to conect to that btfon or whatever it is????

You will not get an itemised bill for broadband
Do you keep check via the the BT usage monitor ?
If your hub (if you use one ) has been connected continuously you can see how its record of usage compares with BTs record
Fon is a system which uses a small portion of users bandwidth to provide an out of doors service you can opt out of it on your BT site page

  • Billed incorrectly!

We have a holiday cottage that has a bt landline. The cottage is empty and in addition, the phone line is currently not working with a repair man due out next week! Despite this we have been billed for around £75 of calls just last month. I don't think the sheep snuck in to call a friend from a broken line! We have spent 2 hours on the phone from our mobiles trying to get someone to help us. Not only do we want a refund but we want to be sure this won't continue to happen, the only other solution is to cancel this and our London BT lines as this is appalling. You are effectively stealing money from your loyal customers!

  • Why can I not see my current usage since my last bill?

I want to see what my current usage is since my last bill (I.e calls and texts) but when I try to do this in my account nothing shows up. Why is this?

    Hi,
Are your calls and texts unlimited? If so then unless you pay for itemised billing they will not show up under usage.
    Thanks,

  • Charged for ordering a duplicate bill.

I needed to order a duplicate bill which showed all the calls made for a previous month. Not once when i was on the phone did the woman mention that i would be charged for this.
£4.80 for a couple of sheets of paper? If i'd known this i never would have bothered. Why wasn't i told when i was ordering?

Actually, there's a chance i may not need the duplicate. If i'd known about the charge I would have told them not to bother. I'm sorry but there is no excuse whatsoever for charging that much for access to my own account information when i'm already paying for said account.
As for downloading previous bills I am aware of this but when I tried It only showed me a few calls and not a fully itemised bill hence my request for the duplicate. Plus as stated in my previous post, i live in a house with 3 other people hence why we have paper bills. For the sake of everyone.
