Items in Subfolder don't show in Parent foler

Question

In the Library under Folders, let's say I have a Folder with 10 images called "Orignal", I right-click (or click the plus icon) to * Create folder inside Original* and I move 5 of the 10 images into the new subfolder, ok?
Now, the Parent folder only shows 5 images, shouldn't it show all 10? (5 in the Original + the 5 in the subfolder)
Is there something I'm missing?

I can confirm that this happens on my system. LR 2.1 64bit on Windows Ultimate 64. I can reproduce this action every time by:
Action:
(Make sure File-> Library Filters-> Include photos in Subfolders is checked)
Have a folder A with no sub folders and x photos shown in LR
Use LR to create two sub folders under A, call them B & C
Use LR to create one sub folder under B, call it D
Move 1 photo from A to D
Move x-1 photos from A to C
Select A and no photos are shown (bug)
Select C and x-1 photos are shown (OK)
Select B and no photos are shown (bug)
Select D and 1 photo is shown (OK)
Exit and restart LR and all folders display as they should:
Select A and x photos are shown (OK)
Select C and x-1 photos are shown (OK)
Select B and 1 photos is shown (OK)
Select D and 1 photo is shown (OK)
For me all folder counts were correct before and after restarting LR.
I've just gotten into the habit of exiting and restarting LR whenever an anomoly shows up. Inconvenient--yes. Fatal--no (at least not so far)
