Items not saving or syncing
Hello. I'm using Palm Z22 & Plam Desktop 4.2. A couple months ago, calender items were no longer syncing properly in both directions (synchronize files, handheld <-> desktop).
Now, just within the past few days, even in Palm Desktop by itself, items will not save. If I enter a new calender event, a new contact, a new task, after I close Desktop & re-open, they're gone. What's the deal? Why does nothing save?

Are you clicking the save option? Does it do the same?
Try exporting your data out and see if it will. Sounds like the Palm desktop needs to be reinstalled.

Sent items not saved in personal sent items when shared mailbox is open in outlook

user is using exchange 2010 and the shared mailboxes are in exchange 2003. when user send an email as send as to the shared mailbox the sent items is not saved in her personal sent items. she can look up the sent items on her shared mailboxes sent items.

Since Exchange 2003 server is out of support, I still suggest migrating to Exchange 2010 server.
How about this behavior on OWA, if everything going well as expected, it should be an issue on the Outlook client side.
Please try to run Outlook under safe mode to avoid some AVs and add-ins.

HT1660 i tunes library not saving when syncing
my itunes library constantly sends me a message that the library is not saving due to unknown issues and then displays (-50). Any thoughts? I can't find support on i tunes library and saving issues. Note- I do not pay extra for the annual cloud services.

File browse image item not saving
Hi,
Im faced with a problem whereby i created a file browse item to load/save images, thing is the image only gets saved when i edit the record and not on creation.

I haven't read about this one yet so I thought I should at least mention it. Since my upgrade to 10.9 the login items for my (admin) user account are not being saved. After a reboot the list is empty again. I have re-entered them several times but that just seems a bit pointless now Also repaired permissions on the OS X drive, just for good measure but to no avail. Login items are Mail, Messages and just one third party app: Google Chrome.
So.... Bug or something else I should try?This happened to me from an out-the-box mac without any 3rd party software installed which makes me think this is a mavericks issue as opposed to anything else installed after.

New/Modified login items not saving
Within the System Preferences > Users & Groups > Login Items (for Admin user)....
I am trying to add an application to open upon login. However when I add it (both with the Lock unlocked or locked)... and then reboot it doesn't save.
I set the new login items, and even remove an old one... exit System Preferences. All appears saved when I go back into it (meaning it sticks).
However upon reboot... the new app doesn't start upon login.
I go back into system preferences pane and the changes are no longer present. So it isn't really actually saving my changes.
Any ideas?Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:

Does the dialog show "You can read and write" in the Sharing & Permissions section?
In the General section, is the box labeled Locked checked?
What is the Modified date?
If you don't have read and write access to the item, change the settings as directed here. Note, however, that if one file has wrong access settings, most likely others do as well. If the item is locked, unlock it.
*If you don't see the contextual menu item, copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Open a TextEdit window and paste into it (command-V). Select the line you just pasted and continue as above. -
Sent items not saved -- delete accounts/settings/preferences
I have mail accounts with AOL and Mobile Me. I understand that to save sent items on the server, I must use the setting "Mailbox > Use This Mailbox For."
For both AOL and Mobile Me accounts, I successfully set up the sent items folders. Under the paper airplane icon, both are reporting "Contents stored on server. Namer on server: Sent."
However, only the Mobile Me account is functioning properly. If I uncheck the mail preference "store sent messages on the server" for my AOL acconts, then Mail will store sent items locally in Mail.app, but this is not what i want.
It is possible this is a problem with AOL. I have two AOL accounts, and they behave a little differently, so I think I have an issue with my settings or preferences. I'd like to know how to completely remove all mail accounts/setting/preferences from Mail.app. All my accounts are IMAP accounts, so I don't need to save anything that is stored locally.

Dynamic pulldown items not saved
I am using Livecycle 8 and have saved the form as a dynamic form. After I've enabled the form for reader and then user reader to fill out the form, the contents of any pulldown which I populated dynamically using the 'additem()' command, are no longer there after i save a filled out form and open it again. Only the contents of the pulldowns I created at design time are there.
Any ideas as to why they don't save with the form?Are you saving and reopening th eform or is it when you do the submit and the form is still open.

Audible bookmarks are not saved after sync
I believe this started after the most recent update of itunes but can't say for sure. Once I listen to a portion of an audible (audible.com) program but then connect my ipod to itunes for any reason; charge, add content, etc., it loses the bookmarks. The result is when I go back to continue listening, my audible book starts at the beginning and not where it left off previously. This used to work but stopped about 1 or 2 months ago.

After the last update of IOS5.1.1, all caledar entries are not saved on Icloud and thus not synced on all my Icloud devices, even though, spreadsheets are synced, photostream is working and contacts is syncing, only calendar items. Anybody has the same problem? Or a solution to this kind or problem?
Welcome to the Apple Community.
First check that all your settings are correct, that calendar syncing is checked on all devices (system preferences > iCloud on a mac and settings > iCloud on a iPhone, iPad or iPod).
Make sure the calendars you are using are in your 'iCloud' account and not an 'On My Mac', 'On My Phone' or other non iCloud account (you can do this by clicking/tapping the calendar button in the top left corner of the application ), non iCloud calendars will not sync.
If you are sure that everything is set up correctly and your calendars are in the iCloud account, you might try unchecking calendar syncing in the iCloud settings, restarting your device and then re-enabling calendar syncing settings. -

I have an Database Block say 'Commercials' ,in which there are 15 database items. I enter value in these items and save the values in DB. But the requirement is, upon updation of the values enterd in any one of the 15 items, it should not get updated in DB, instead a new set of values with a new primary key should be inserted into the DB as a new row. To do so, an package is called in the Key commit trigger and in ON-UPDATE trigger, i give null there, inorder to avoid updation of values in the same record.
The above scenario works perfectly. Now, I add an new column in DB (as 16th column in Block). I need only this specific column to get updated.
When i put fnd_message on execution, it fires in the key-commit and says 1 record is applied and saved. But it is not saving in DB. especially that 16th column is not getting updated in DB.
While updating the record, The flow of trigger moves to On- Update through Key-commit..
What can be given in the On-update trigger to make the 16th column to get saved in DB.

Can you please show us what code you have written in your On-Update trigger?
Just thinking through the process, I would expect to see some checks to see which columns have been updated so you can determine whether to create a new record (column 1-15) or update an existing record (column 16). To do this type of thing, you will need to compare the Current Value of the column to the value that was fetched from the database. Unfortunately, Forms does not have a System Variable that records the status of each item like it does the Record, Block or Form status so you have to perform this comparison yourself. Thankfully, Oracle Forms does have a built-in that will help with this; GET_ITEM_PROPERTY('ITEM_NAME', DATABASE_VALUE). The DATABASE_VALUE property returns the value that was originally fetched from the database. Your comparison would look something like:

Try this ..
On your Mac open System Preferences > iCloud
Deselect the box next to: Notes
Then reselect it.
Give iCloud a few minutes to re sync the data.

MartinThe issue is that creating a modal of a region lifts that region from the HTML. Just have a look at the DOM when you run your page and not the source html, because that does not reflect changes to the dom made on page load. This means that your memo-field is removed from the FORM-tags, and effectively won't submit to session state. The item is not processed when you submit the page! You can track that through debugging your page. Memo is not saved and not processed.
Trying to save the value to session state is not enough, it doesn't really matter in this case. The moment you submit the page, the session state will get overwritten by the submitted values of the items.
So what i did:

Sent items from a shared mailbox are not saved with the shared mailbox
I'm experiencing an issue regarding the sent items from a shared mailbox.
The users would like the items Sent on Behalf of a shared mailbox to be saved within this shared mailbox.
At this moment, the Sent Items are saved in the users own mailbox.
We have a single Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 (Version 14.3 Build 123.4) and Users connecting the Exchange Server are using Microsoft Outlook 2007 (12.0.6680.5000) SP3 MSO.
The user is granted full access permissions on the shared mailbox, and also has "Send on Behalf" permissions on the mailbox. The mailbox is setup as an "online" mailbox, so it doesn't use cached mode.
I tried the following solutions mentioned in the various KB's and technet articles:
Configuring the "DelegateSentItemsStyle" registry setting for this user (using a GPO)
Configured the "Get-MailboxSentItemsConfiguration" cmdlet for this user
Logged on to OWA and changed the "Sent Items" settings to save the sent items in both mailboxes
None of these settings worked, not combined and neither seperately.
Is there anyone who can help me resolving this issues?

Roy SchottmansI am using a shared mailbox (with a disabled account) where I get sent items and also deleted items placed in the right folders.
I think it’s just a matter of how you configure Outlook. It works well for me in both Outlook 2010 and Outlook 2013, cached mode and also online mode. You can add a shared mailbox to your Outlook profile in at least two ways where one of them doesn’t work
but the other does.
If you add the shared mailbox via the File tab/Account settings/New/ and just enter the e-mail address of the shared mailbox in the Auto Account Setup page. No name, no password, just the e-mail address and click Next and voila “Your e-mail account is successfully
configured”. After restarting Outlook you will find the shared mailbox below your own in the left pane.
If you click the inbox ones in the shared mailbox and then open a new mail you will see the shared mailbox display name in the From field. After sending the mail you will see the mail in the Sent Items folder of the shared mailbox. If you delete a mail in
the shared mailbox you will see it in Deleted items folder of the shared mailbox.
The prerequisits for this is that you have “full access” and “send as” rights of the shared mailbox.
This was accomplished without using the Set-MailboxSentItemsConfiguration command.
We are running Exchange 2010 SP3 RU4.

Joao OliveiraIt is not clearly stated in the help file I agree. With a little PLSQL code you could copy the item to a hidden database field and have it be saved to the database. See Note 43012.1 on Metalink for details.
